Bee does a great job at creating responsive email design; although a drag and drop system can be limited in it's options, Bee it is quite flexible; great job at listening to customers and being constantly evolving to provide more and better tools for email creation Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some limitations on responsive design, it would be nice to have a tablet view; missing an image library; place images in row with the text is not possible, often I have to add images after exporting the HTML because some technical texts require symbols that are not convencional characters Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We have several email marketers on our team that are not advanced in html coding but need the ability to create templates for our sites and emails without bogging down the Digital and Design teams with daily projects. BEE has been a fantastic solution to allow them to work in a sophisticated template creator and subsequently import the coding into our ESP. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish you could grab the html coding directly from the site vs having to download the html file to get it, but it's a matter of 10 seconds to go that extra step so it isn't a deal breaker. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It provides the perfect balance between a WYSIWYG responsive HTML editor, and the ability to manually tweak code when needed. Its Saved Rows and Templates features enable me to ensure that our brand standards are consistently applied across all projects, and the Synched Rows feature enables me to quickly update assets when needed, even when they’re already in use in multiple active projects. 1. Saved rows and synched rows in emails default to a width of 500 pixels, which produces undesirable results when placed into an email that is 650 pixels wide. This feature needs to either provide a mechanism to adjust the default width of a Saved Row, or automatically adjust when placed in an email with a different width.
2. There is no easy way to add custom HTML SPAN attributes to text (i.e. <span style="white-space: nowrap;"></span>). This can only be done manually after I’ve exported the code, which makes the process more cumbersome than it should be.
3. Templates don’t save UTM parameters. This makes no sense to me, because UTM parameters almost always have a standard syntax, so we should be able to save defaults with our templates.
4. I wish the settings tab offered me a way to add custom CSS to my templates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Beefree is so easy to use and they continuously are adding more and more templates and content block options. It is super easy to organize email types into folders and export the HTML or into many other solutions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing - it's great. I do wish i could export to this email provider i use called intercom. Intercom is great for emailing my members but the WYSIWYG editor is super limited and to adjust my templates i need to access and change the CSS and while that's not bad, it's just not nearly as easy and nible as bee is. This is the perfect tool for creating email templates and then exporting them in html. This way I can have html versions to send to service providers or import them directly into my brevo email tool! What's more, you can split all your templates into different folders. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
nothing so far, I haven't had any problems using it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Beefree is a extremely simple to use. I'm in it almost every day and I can honestly say I have been able to get so much more accomplished with this tool. In our use case, we need to be able to export html directly into our TCM platform and beefree is an affordable and simple program that fits our needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Though there are many templates included in a BeeFree membership, I find most of them are too specific to be of any use to me. Others may disagree, but I've really spent the vast majority of time working from a blank template. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The ability to rapidly create highly compliant html and great looking emails very quickly, with templating/library that can be shared across the team. Also independence from email service provider lock-in and shortcomings (far too many over the years), plus great support for rare problems and help, along with the culture of continuous but not overstretch improvement, and sensible/reasonable pricing. Not perfect (but then email code is very tricky for something ostensibly so simple) but by far the best option I know. We use multiple times a week. Setup is a cinch. Not using the integration much, but that is out of choice (also really like the multiple options for downloading code so can edit, etc.). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Surprisingly few dislikes, partly because things have been steadily improved and enhanced over four years as a client. I would really like more responsiveness/adaptability for mobile, plus enhancement to the library and saved components (to better support rollback and archiving), and a bit more selective control over application of UTM to URLs, but these latter points are very much in the nice-to-have list. Overall, a v happy user/customer, with Beefree massively better than previous solutions. Across hundreds if not thousands of email, the platform has only glitched a handful of times (and only once or twice seriously) and that may have been my connection. Love the UX, so easy to build using the drag and drop functionality. Saves me so much time! Implementation was like a 2 click job.
Using this tool every day of the week.
If I have had any issues customer support has been amazing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Integrations are limited, so it would be great if you could include all merger fields applicable to the major platform I export to like Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I've been a loyal user of BEE for the past four years and I have migrated our entire company to use the tool. Previously either very few people could build emails or the email builders in EMS tools were too complicated. BEE makes it very easy for an entire team to build emails, use templates and catalog our content. This is a daily feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would be a bigger fan of Bee if their HTML expanded to in-app messages or if they integrated with Braze. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The drag and drop functionality of different elements, it brings so much ease, only a little touch up is needed after exporting the template from Beefree. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It'd be wonderful if an HTML file can be imported in Beefree and then you can adjust it there or make changes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We needed to switch from another email creation software and during our search, Beefree checked off everything on our list. I don't even need support for implementation or integrations. Their system is very easy to use and has a ton of features. I LOVE the fact that you can personalize and build your emails to function properly on both desktop and mobile, plus their tool makes the mobile version actually look good. Our emails look incredible now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It takes a long time for support to respond to submitted tickets. I think they may be overseas so when they do email back and you replay, you usually have to wait 24 hours to get a response. But I haven't had any emergencies where I needed support ASAP. Any problems I had were solved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
