**What do you like best about Avetta?**

I use Avetta to manage supplier and contractor compliance all in one place, which helps me keep everything organised. Instead of chasing documents, certificates, and approvals through emails or different systems, I can track everything in one place. What I like most about Avetta is that it makes contractor compliance much easier to manage. Everything is in one place, so I can quickly see documents, approvals, and any missing requirements without wasting time. The clear dashboard and document tracking make it easier for me, as I can quickly see which contractors are approved, which documents are missing, and what still needs attention. Switching to Avetta from a more manual process using emails, spreadsheets, and shared folders made things more structured and easier to track, especially for contractor documents, approvals, and compliance status. The initial setup was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Avetta?**

One thing that could be better is the overall ease of use. Sometimes the platform feels a bit slow or more complicated than it needs to be, especially when trying to find specific information quickly. A simpler layout and smoother navigation would make the experience much better.

**What problems is Avetta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I like Avetta because it is an easy-to-use solution, and a lot of suppliers are already familiar with it, which facilitates strong supplier adoption. It is focused on risks and reporting on compliance adherence, becoming a single source of truth for compliance and management of contractors and suppliers. Avetta brings operational efficiency by reducing manual administrative work through automation of many processes, and it offers significant risk visibility. I appreciate the risk reporting functionality as it helps identify risks early by checking compliance criteria and flagging potential issues before they arise. The platform provides good auditing capabilities to track these records and problems. Additionally, the initial setup of Avetta was simple and straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Avetta?**

While it's a good platform that's easy to use, it's not cost effective for a lot of the smaller or less technically advanced suppliers. It can make compliance slow and requires hand holding. Also, a lot of the reporting is not customizable.

So far, I like Avetta mostly because of the connections that I'm able to get. I'm using the client connections tab the most.

Right now, the things that could be enhanced is understanding more about what Avetta can do for me and how I can use it best based on what I do for my company. I would love to be able to speak to somebody to show me how to get the most out of Avetta, specifically for the type of business that I have. And I'd also like to have easier compliance procedures considering my business is not a direct contractor. The initial setup was not easy at all.

I like that Avetta centralizes contractor compliance in one place and clearly shows whether contractors meet requirements. The automated alerts and document tracking work well, helping ensure contractors stay up to date without constant manual follow-ups.

The interface can feel complex at times. Onboarding new contractors can take longer than expected. Some requirements are not very flexible. The interface could be simpler with a clearer navigation and fewer steps. Onboarding could be improved by giving clearer instructions to contractors, reducing repeated data entry, and speeding up document approvals. I’d like more flexibility in adjusting requirements based on contractor risk level, type of work, and company size. Some documents and training should be optional rather than mandatory for all contractors.

**What do you like best about Avetta?**

I use Avetta to manage and track supplier and contractor compliance, which helps ensure that every third party we work with meets safety, regulatory, and performance standards. It centralizes everything, so I don’t have to chase contractors for documents or wonder who’s approved and who isn’t. The dashboards make it easy to spot gaps quickly, and the standardized process keeps things consistent across suppliers. I like the visibility and control it gives over supplier compliance, taking a lot of manual stress out of it and making risk management feel far more manageable. It reduces manual follow ups, lowers compliance risk, and provides confidence that suppliers meet required standards.

**What do you dislike about Avetta?**

Avetta can feel a bit rigid at times. Some processes take longer than expected, especially when suppliers are uploading documents or trying to fix compliance issues, which slows things down on both sides. The interface isn’t very intuitive for first-time users, so there’s a learning curve that causes confusion, particularly for smaller vendors. Reporting does the job but lacks flexibility, and costs can feel heavy for what you get. Setting up Avetta wasn’t the smoothest out of the box experience. Some suppliers struggled with the portal at first, so we had to guide them through a few steps manually.

I like how Avetta helps us manage client expectations for the people we send onsite, as it allows us to move the process along quicker than normal. The stoplight system is really helpful, as the green/yellow/red signals allow me to show our internal people what is needed, and they understand right away. It also helps me know how to prioritize tasks. Setting up new accounts with Avetta has been fairly easy, as I've managed to set up 4 new accounts in other countries this past year without much hassle.

Nothing was helpful. This was a lot of work, and requests for additional updates continues to come in.

**What do you dislike about Avetta?**

The platform is not user friendly. The initial rollout and implementation was difficult and finding any support was hard. There were a lot of emails received from them telling us what was missing, however trying to fill the requests or get support in understanding what the request was, did not go well. Initially I used it non-stop while supplying information, which at times was irrelevant to the work we were doing. Now I use it a couple times monthly to respond to their continued requests. It was also very expensive to enroll.  This expense was unexpected and hefty.

**What problems is Avetta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't know of any problems they are helping to solve.

**What do you like best about Avetta?**

As a contractor, Avetta makes the compliance process pretty straightforward. Uploading safety records, insurance, and other documents is simple, and once it’s in the system, clients can see everything they need. It saves a lot of back-and-forth and keeps us on track with what’s required.

**What do you dislike about Avetta?**

As a contractor, Avetta can be a bit pricey and the setup takes time since you have to upload a lot of documents. Some of the requirements don’t always fit the work we do, and the system isn’t the easiest to navigate. Keeping everything updated feels like extra admin work on top of the job.

**What problems is Avetta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Avetta helps by keeping all our compliance documents in one place so clients can easily verify we’re up to date. It takes away a lot of the back-and-forth emails about insurance, safety records, and training. For us, it means less chasing paperwork and more focus on actually doing the work, while giving clients peace of mind that we meet their requirements.

Here’s what I find most impressive: Global Impact & Scale, Safety & Risk Management, Sustainability & ESG Focus, Innovation & Growth, Easy to understand and implement, Integration across the organisation, and frequent use provide latest updates. 
It’s rare to see a tech company blend purpose, performance, and global reach so seamlessly.

**What do you dislike about Avetta?**

Avetta has its strengths, but like any platform, it’s not without its pain points—especially from the perspective of users and suppliers. Here are some of the most commonly voiced frustrations: High Costs & Fees, Billing & Cancellation Issues, Complexity & Review Delays, and Customer Support Concerns. 
In short, Avetta’s platform can be powerful—but for suppliers, especially smaller ones, the costs, bureaucracy, and support gaps can feel like barriers rather than bridges.

I like that Avetta checks insurance documents and will not allow contractors/vendors/consultants on the mine site without adequate insurance coverages.

**What do you dislike about Avetta?**

Avetta is cumbersome in the event of unplanned work, it is very difficult and can be time consuming to get contractors on site when their insurance document has expired. There would be a great benefit in having Avetta tied into our indoctrination requirements, or having a separate (but connected) portal where we could more easily automate the indoctrination requirements. Also, when submitting newly updated insurance documents it would be beneficial to have a more expedient process to review & confirm the documents are adequate (it can take >2-3 days to verify insurance documents, which can have an impact on emergency work).

**What problems is Avetta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Avetta keeps track of and verifies contractor insurance documentation prior to them being allowed onto site.

I love the support provided to both contractors and clients by the Avetta support teams. From implementation, integration, and continued improvement, all teams have been helpful and strive to answer all your questions the first time!
Avetta is also constantly evolving with new features, and stays in line with (if not ahead of) industry trends and requirements. 
The platform itself is so easy to navigate, that we have found it easy to even have managers login to answer their own questions.

I would love to be able to update questions in a questionnaire independently, as long as it is not a workflow impacting question.

The biggest downside I experienced while I have used Avetta was the Avetify option was enabled on our account and I, 1: never knew it was on our account until I noticed it on the renewal, and 2: was never reached out to except for when I attempted to cancel it.

We have just started using Avetta via other GCs.  It is particularly helpful when we have to renew forms such as Insurance Certificates.  It was also helpful with regards to Safety.  It assures we have all the pertinent information for the Safety Manuals.

Nothing at this time....again, still new to system...but have not had any issues or dislikes.

Most of the issues we have with jobs is making sure paperwork is up to date (i.e. WC/Insurance).  I receive an email when I need to update or include additional information.  I have had no issues with entering information.  Seems that everything is spelled out!

**What do you like best about Avetta?**

Avetta has been most helpful in ensuring that we minimize our risk on jobsites. It's a place for our potential clients to see to it that we have safety policies in place along with insurance, etc. before bidding a potential bond. Granting them with the security of not having to deal with those sorts of safety risk. There could be more to gain from Avetta with it being  a recognized platform for safety compliance, if there are I most definitely am not aware with some of the other services they provide.

**What do you dislike about Avetta?**

We started our Avetta account to show future clients, like Amazon that we have the capabilities of taking on the larger projects with reduced risk. However, from starting our account in July of 2024 we haven't landed a job from using Avetta. I believe we've had one, maybe two potential clients reach out to us via Avetta.

Updated Review: We recently had a company we've worked for, "Connect," with us on Avetta. While Avetta did notify us that this would increase our bill & gave us a date (Imagine going from a $0 bill to a $1,200 charge), I was under the impression that I could call & pay. In the meantime, I reached out to the company that "connected" with us to find out more information. We were charged by Avetta. I called Avetta to be refunded, and it took them almost 5 weeks to process our refund, whereas it took them a week to auto-charge us.

I feel like its a great way for larger corporations to search for 'prequalified' suppliers, with the security that these prequalified subcontractors are operating safer workplaces.

Avetta’s safety and compliance platform is user friendly, convenient and time saving.  Avetta keeps everything organized and helps us stay on top of training and regulations. The automated reports save time, and the support team is always helpful. It’s a reliable tool that makes managing compliance simple and stress-free.

There are no real down sides.  The reporting is sometimes hard to locate, but those are for the one-off reports you don't need to produce all the time (i.e. Clearance Certs).

They are providing reminders about when training, certificates or if anything changes.  I really appreciate that as I use other risk managements sites that don't offer this and I need to set my own reminders, where Avetta does that for me.

Absolutely nothing. There are far superior platforms with infinitely better customer service.

**What do you dislike about Avetta?**

Customer service is horrible. Going through their Philippine call center is an exercise in futility, and that's after you've made it through their clunky virtual switchboard. It's almost impossible to get through to anybody in their US office. When you eventually get a response days or weeks later, it's an email with no contact number. Their "safety professionals" that do program reviews apparently don't understand context, if your verbiage doesn't exactly match their reference, they'll reject your program. 
I could write another volume on trying to get them to approve an insurance cert. Lastly, their fee structure is ridiculous, worst value proposition in the space. Far more expensive than ISN with less than half the value proposition.

Avetta creates problems for me.

**What do you like best about Avetta?**

The concept of Avetta is amazing.  The ability to connect contractors and customers on an industrial scale is wonderful.  It really takes out a lot of the guess work.

**What do you dislike about Avetta?**

Their business model is upside down.  Instead of charging the multimillion dollar contracting companies money, the brunt of the costs land on the clients using their services.

**What problems is Avetta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Avetta employs a thorough vetting process to assess companies on safety and training matters. They maintain comprehensive records and are able to provide clear evidence to show why a particular contractor is the most suitable choice for a given job.

As a beginner, the registration process was daunting.

Avetta tracks expiration dates (COIs, safety manuals, OSHA logs, etc.) and alerts you before they expire.

**What do you like best about Avetta?**

Everything is amazingly color-coded. No more guessing on to what connections are compliant or need something done. I also enjoy the charts to make tracking EMR, TRIR, etc. as simple as it gets. Love the fact the industry average is there to keep tabs on how we stand with peers.

**What do you dislike about Avetta?**

We sometimes get random matches from contractors we're not doing any business with and that it gets billed to our account without approval.

**What problems is Avetta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping everything simple and to the point. Competitors sometimes have 4-5 different screens you gotta navigate through to finish a task. Not Avetta. Bing/bang/boom.

I like the homepage and the My Tasks section. I am able to use the tabs on the side to find the sections I need.

I don't like that I can't copy similar information between clients. If it is asking the same information that I have entered for others, I should be able to import it.

**What do you like best about Avetta?**

I like how easy it is to update and navigate.  I can tell at a glance what is out of compliance and what needs to be updated.  It also sends regular communication about the compliance, making it easier to assign to other internal parties.

**What do you dislike about Avetta?**

I really don't like updating my insurance section.  It has each section in a different area and I have to upload the same document for those different areas. It would be much faster if I could fill it out all at once, upload multiple documents and be on my way.

**What problems is Avetta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It certainly cuts down on confusion that I would have to deal with if I were trading back and forth emails as I am with some customers.

It was hard to initially complete a submission; in the end it worked out and I was satisfied with the process

We love that we are notified right away when something is out of compliance or needs attention. It is obvious that this is monitored closely and is beneficial to us in our relationship with our clients, so we can take action promptly. The platform is very user friendly and easy to navigate, compared to many other similar platforms.

**What do you dislike about Avetta?**

The only downside is how quickly it reviews your information, honestly. Sometimes you'll submit something you've been working on for days and within minutes it will reject it. It's really a positive but it's kind of soul crushing at times.

Communicating our risk scores to our clients in an efficient manner.

The people in Worker Management are friendly and helpful.

**What do you dislike about Avetta?**

The virtyal assistant is useless and very frustrating.  It has mis-interpreted me may times and simply hung up the phone.  On average it takes three calls before I can get to someone that can help.  You need some REAL PEOPLE to answer the phone.  Better spoken English would help.  Sopmetimes it is near impossible to understand what is being said.

**What problems is Avetta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My job is to keep my company compliant.   You have some outstanding customer service reps who are very helpful.  You need more of them and you need to get rid of the virtual assistant.  Keeping my company compliant helps our business to grow.

The Avetta system holds you to account and ensures you are in tune with the latest developments. It also gives the clients the ability to ensure consistence among its suppliers, which in turn keeps the level playing fields for tendering.

Although the system has been quite easy to use and interact with, the support team have been good to deal with when we have needed assistance

**What do you dislike about Avetta?**

When we first dealt with Avetta it was not clear that the documentation needed to our generic versions. Our first interaction was due to our engagement with Fortescue and we were under the impression all the documents needed to based on our FMG Operations. We then had to resubmit everything in a generic format which was quite time consuming.

**What problems is Avetta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Avetta registration is a client driven requirement for PPS and we bennefit from the requirements being an even playing field across all ocntractors

I have been using Avetta for a couple of years now, I really like the way they have the questionnaires set up, ease of access to non finished questions and its customer support. I have contacted customer support on a few times and they are always quick to repply and help you navigate through the issues.

**What do you dislike about Avetta?**

The software is a bit strict on YES/NO questions that may benefit on a text field that can help explain why you chose that option.

**What problems is Avetta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The system allows the user to identify ptential flaws in risk management and  basically points you in the right direction to correct them.
