Easy to setup, and the network visualization and management was very useful Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Setup instructions were not as clear as they could have been. They said to run a script which asked for a password, but failed to mention that it actually required an API key and did not generate an API key to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the alerts the best, they help me to see what is going on a at all my locations at all times. I know when things go down before users report it. I can address those issues quicky and efficiently that way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
For the most part, I am very plesed with Auvik and don't have anything I dislike about it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's easy to use, the UI is nice and it's easy to navigate. Installing the controller via docker was simple and the sales guy was quick to reply. It has SNMP and alot of other methods which just work without hassle. It's something that you don't have to login to everyday because it will send email alerts. I wish the pricing was upfront instead of waiting for a qoute. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Gives you a real time visual network diagram of your whole network and gives clear alerts when things have gone wrong on the network. This allows us to act quickly to resolve the issue for our clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is not a version of the Auvik Collector that can be installed on a Raspberry Pi so we can cheaply deploy the collector on a credit card sized Arm Machine. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One of the best platforms that I have used for a network infrastructure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is a lot to know to fully utilized this platform. Not sure what right would look like for specific functions. Can seem overwhelming at times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

the onboarding and training is amazing.
All the different teams they have helped out greatly.
I use primarily Auvik to make sure mission-critical devices.
I feel it is far superior to competitors Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The front-end interface took a bit of getting use.
I feel it is the only real place for improvement would be in the interface and making it a bit more user friendly Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This is a breeze to setup. Within 30min I had 2 client sites setup and was able to see a network map of all my connected devices. Able to drill down into my switches and see which devices are using the most bandwidth.
One other nice feature is that you are able to pop right into the CLI of your device (ie Switch) and view/change the configuration, without having to VPN into the site and then connect to the device.
I also like the straightforward pricing so you what you are going to pay right away, unlike other products that like to nickel and dime you and every element you want to report on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not sure if this product has the ability of monitoring system resources as in CPU, RAM, Temp, etc of servers and switches, as some of my devices are not installed in the most ideal locations.
Also, it is a bit pricey as a MSP to have this added cost per client per month. We'll have to use it a bit more to see if it is cost effective in the long run. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I'm a big fan of Auvik being vendor-augnostic. It works with any device that you can SSH or telnet into or has an snmp agent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The adoption process is rather teadious. It takes a while for Auvik to discover devices (overnight for our team). We created seperate vlan jsut for Auvik management to make it more simplistic and seamless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I love most about Auvik is that I can see and manage my network and all conneted devices. The map of Layers 1 to 3 you can see the wired connections , Wireless and VPN connections. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
You need to take some of their learning videos that they have but they are helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Auvik is useful for helping obtain a clean visual representation of network topologies and showing a nice graphical representation of what's consuming bandwidth on a network. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
To take full advantage, NetFlows need to be configured on network equipment, which often requires expensive licensing from hardware vendors, along with a fair amount of configuration in order to send the flows to the Auvik connector. Not neccessarily Auvik's fault that some vendors charge extra for NetFlow capbilitiy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
