It has everything in one place in a secure dashboard I can access from anywhere. Supports almost all my devices and is easy and standardised to setup integration with them, with a variety of options for connectivity and support for multiple LANs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Can be a bit fiddly to make sure stuff is connected correctly, manual override buttons would be helpful to force a scan on a particular IP address or to update a specific device when stuff isn't working perfectly on the first pass.
I can see it being used in a large business with many many devices, but for a small business like mine it's too expensive for my needs, and could possibly look into different price tiers and functionality for smaller needs.
It feels to me that a windows install is the most prioritised method of installation and is what I eventually went with, as docker and a VM were not reliable enough for me, but this may have just been my particular setup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Auvik is really simple to set up, took no time at all, as I chose the virtual machine Implementation. No configuration necessary, just throw it into VMware and its up and connected. Difficulty during setup can be a real turn off but one of the main points of this service is the ease of use. As for it's uses, I never had a problem with it auto-configuring my network devices, and once the credentials were in it worked well for device monitoring. All it asked for was a credential and everything was up and running. I like the notification reporting, I know if I ever had an issue it would be the first to let me know through the portal and email. Also the network topology mapping is on par or better than anything else I've personnally worked with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The convience of the trial is really nice, but looking at the pricing, with my implementation, its just not worth it. If you spend good money on Ubiquiti and comprable equipment, it virtually replaces this product. If you had the time you can set up all the alerts and monitoring for free with enough time spent. If you don't have the time, and you arn't seeing the money going away yourself, I'd use it. Other than that, I'd only imagine looking in here maybe 3-4 times a week or more if I run into issues with the network. With all things considered, its just not worth it for my use case. Auvik was able to scan a network unknown to me and map it out. This helped tremendously with the task of upgrading all network equipment. Talk about a time saver! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing about Auvik that can be frustrating is that it can be difficult to manually assign associations between network elements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Auvik is incredibly helpful for network analysis, troubleshooting and control. Customer support is great from the moment you sign up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Software has so many features that it can be a lot to navigate at first. Luckily there are tons of support articles to help with the process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Used to be a good product but is not anymore Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Support is non existant. None of our Fortigates work anymore and they have been trying to fix it for two months now. Not getting anywhere and alerts are constantly going off with false alarms. 0 value for us now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's easy and pretty simple to navigate, has a network map that easily allows me to locate devices and able to go back in time to check alerts, device performance and so much more Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Site goes under maintenance pretty frequently and creates a lot of false positive alerts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Installing an auvik collector is relatively easy and straight forward. For my use case i installed it on an Ubuntu VM and the bash script provided in the installation instructions really made this very simple. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I initially signed up for Auvik with the promise of earning a Ubiquiti Switch for trying it out. Then discvoered what they consider a billable device is not what I have enough of in my small Network. I learned to actually like Auvik during the trial but not enough to pay for it, and now that my trial is over they have made it impossible to close my account and/or disable alerts. There are also no uninstallation instructions for Linux that I have been able to locate in the documentation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The price can be high. Auvik is not the cheapest network management tool on the market. It is important to factor in the cost of Auvik when making a decision about whether to use it.
The interface can be complex. Auvik has a lot of features, and the interface can be complex for some users. It may take some time to learn how to use Auvik effectively.
Not all devices are supported. Auvik does not support all network devices. It is important to check the Auvik compatibility list before you purchase the software.
The performance can be slow for large networks. Auvik can be slow to map and monitor large networks. If you have a large network, you may want to consider a different network management tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Auvik has been great. It's not easy to create intuitive navigation for the density of data that is available, but they do a pretty good job. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
For some reason the company pull down and search bothers me. I would like to be able to just click and start typing, or press a hotkey and start typing. The list seems small and jumbled. But, it works just fine. Definitely a non problem, just a preference. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
