Port mapping for net devices, when having issues with a known devices or even finding a device what is rogue on the network has Auvik has proven to be super helpful in tracking these issues / devices down. Backups are probably the second biggest part I like, being able to pull up side by side configs and compare changes have helped solve many problems, especially when clients have made changes and not saved then had a power outage, with the click of a button we can re-push configs. Being able to monitor specific interfaces, like the WAN on a firewall or the service providers gateway have also proven to be super helpful in seeing where issues may be right off the bat. Third best would be analyzing traffic and being able to catch broadcast issues and narrowing them down to specific ports and devices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Cant think of any. Auvik has been helpful is so many ways there arent really any downsides. If I had to say something on this, we have had issues with Auvik messing with Voice networks, but voice traffic in itself can be very temperamental, if your networks are segmented correctly after the initial scan just stop scanning voice networks. Auvik for us fills gaps especially with networks that offer guest access. It provides an audit feature and extra layer of security in monitoring for roque devices. When it comes to troubleshooting bandwidth use it provides incrediable insight. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Would like to see better intigration for device by device syncing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The dynamic maps and auto discovery/classification of devices. It allows for easy deployment with either an onpremise or could controller. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There can be times where devices are classified incorrectly and send false alerts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Auvik helped us bring visibility to our network infrastructure, prior to that we have spent more time to trace our assets and troubleshoot. Also, Auvik is a very reliable tool to deal with to monitor and document network devices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Auvik covers all aspects of monitoring and documentation, the only thing I can say is the way that we need to deploy our networks is by separating networks by different profile instead of combining multiple remote networks on one profile. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Ease of deployment; monitoring and alerting capabilities; reporting; easy invoicing for individual tenants/clients. It is easy to share the console with team members and customers alike when demonstrating problem areas or proposed solutions - it doesn't overwhelm even the less technical minded. The documentation features are great for creating KB's and customer information that any team member can use in a troubleshooting scenario. And, the speed and responsiveness of the support engineers is tremendous. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The mapping could be more robust - it is a bit basic, but functional and does the job. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The network discovery features. So many clients we are on-boarding think they know how many devices they have on their network, and they are always surprised when we report back to them the real number based on Auvik's scan results. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is no software deployment tools. Something this powerful that can effectively communicate with an entire network would benefit from being able to deploy software on a massive scale to endpoints and servers alike. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's very good for finding problems in the network. And getting a map of the network.
And the automatic save, and version management, of configurations of swiches, router are great :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not much, but if you have a large map it fells a bit slow to display the map. But it can be that I don't have a good structure, yet, of my cutomers :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Auvik gives us information about the network, not just the PCs and servers, that we manage. It helps us troubleshoot problems faster, document the networks with more granularity and monitor critical events. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's not the cheapest option in the marketplace and the add-ons tend to cost more rather than just be included into the base price. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
