Their tagline on the homepage is that you can get set up "In under an hour". This was genuinely one of the most streamlined and pleasant setup experiences I've ever gone through. Once set up (took about 15 minutes), the dashboards are really intuitive and make it easy to drill down to get a good look at individual network areas and devices. So far, I haven't come across anything negative, although I'm still exploring the more in-depth functionality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Auvik gets the up-to-date status of all your devices (routers, switches, even printers) all at one single place with a single unified user interface. It is easy to use and easy to manage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It requires installing a service on Windows machines; you have to manually kill the process and stop the service to stop sending network statistics online -- it would be better if we can have a tray icon to control the auvik service easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The remote management features makes it more easy and secure to our clients. Also the Network visibility and range of management is so far the best tool every client needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
So far I love everything! But if I see something I could recommend to you I will let you know. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Auvik is a great tool to keep track of networks and link status, we use this often to check up on client networks and down status. I would definitely recommend this tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Net flow logs are not kept for a long period Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My favourite feature is the interactive network map. It gives you an instant view of your entire landscape and is easy to navigate and see the status of your infrastructure at a glance Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I was slightly disappointed with the Linux installation script, which failed without useful debugging information. I resorted to installing the windows collector but would have preferred to have the collector running in an easily managed LXC container. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I enjoy the simplicity of the interface, I am able to locate devices on the network easily and find that it is easy to follow and understand what device is where and all of its information along with it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike that I have had to contact support to remove a duplicate device before, I feel it should be given as an option to users to be able to remove devices a bit easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love that you can use Auvik to create terminal sessions to linux and Cisco based equipment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The setup is pretty extensive. If we were a single network then it would not be so bad but as an MSP, setting up multiple networks is a task. It would also be nice to be able to use an external collector to scan an internal network through a firewall. Something like a collector for Fortigate or PFSense would be cool, or the ability to install a collector on a Raspberry PI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Network Mapping is amazing with Auvik. Once you populate your required fields (authentication method, subnets, etc,) Auvik will map out your network and show you an interactive map, realtime! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The pricing structure for Auvik is a bit steep for small businesses and smaller government entities, such as schools or smaller townships. Discounts are seen only if you have a higher number of devices, so smaller entities will with smaller numbers of devices get less of a discount. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
