Auvik is great for keeping track of your inventory and seeing alerts. It's a very powerful tool with many great features such as the traffic insights and syslog Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Due to the amount of features provided, it can take some time to learn how to navigate Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It was easy to set up and start monitoring my network. This is a great place to check the health of your network devices. I like the way it auto-discovered the machines that I had. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The dashboard and over all health of the network and devices could be improved. I have used Logic Monitor in the past, and their dashboards and alerts were very customizable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The support team is very helpful, the knowledge base articles make it easy to connect to network equipment. Can easily setup alerts to email. The dashboard is straightforward to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Does not connect to Unifi Dream Machines. Needs to have a windows pc on site to act as a collector. If it could connect to unifi dream machines then I could roll it out to my entire network. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
MSP friendly - Allowing for multiple clients, with multiple sites, to be managed. The email based alerts make integrating it with our ticketing system a breeze. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Frequent disconnects/confusion with devices, may be configuration error, but I often get false positives for some devices being offline, when they are online. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have used many network monitoring tools in the past. Auvik has the best discovery mechanism I have used. The UI is clean and intuitive. I like the pricing structure. There are 2 tiers. Other vendors require multiple add-ons to get the same functionality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would like to do more reporting from within Auvik. For extended reporting, you will need to use Microsoft Power BI. Also, setting up alerts is very easy. However, the alerts could be more customizable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Network and Device monitoring done right, we aren't an MSP which seems like their target audience, but it still functions perfectly for our company network. Their support and training is top notch as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
so far we have encountered 1 bug in their system that has made an important feature useless until their engineers fix it, been about a month and still nothing, I'd like to see this process improve Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Auvik is one of the best Network monitoring and management product I have encountered in my 8 years of career in the Information technology and Networking industry. Need to highlight the simplicity of its GUI and it has all the information about your network in a more compact way. The dynamic map feature is a life savior for a network admin which helps to visualize the entire network in a single view. Map can be configured to update every 10 min and even the alarms can be seen in the map itself on the relevant interfaces or devices. Under device view, all the information is available including the running os version, recommended os version, end-of-support dates etc. Advanced features such as configuration backup, configuration comparison, and Netflow traffic analysis are all inbuilt with Auvik whereas in other RMM vendors, these are add-on modules that you need to purchase additionally. Also, the license structure of Auvik is so simple and the license is based on a total number of network devices categorized into switches, routers, firewalls, and on-premise Wireless controllers. Every other device such as IP phones and access points would not be counted for licenses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is nothing to dislike on Auvik. But the offering is on the cloud only as of today. Better check for on-premise option as well in case of there are customers who are not willing to adopt cloud offering. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like how it can discover all the devices on the network. I like that I can then just add a few creds and basically never have to log into any devices directly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Least helpful thing is Traffic insights. The hardest part is gathering all the information to manage every device. The SNMP Creds, the login, and all the other information we need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The discovery is by far the best feature. The extra devices that are included for monitoring but aren't 'billable' are a huge plus. The installation of the polling unit was exactly how it should be. Light/Sleek/Easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I didn't find in-depth information for virtualized or cloud infrastructure. I didn't have enough time on the trial to explore the API for integration into tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Can find whatever I need and where it is in the network. Also properly configured alerts are quite helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Can't go back in time to see what was on the network and where it was plugged in before it was disconnected Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
