Ease of use and ability to run PowerShell scripts remotely to any system that has the agent. Patching 3rd party apps is a big plus as well that we like Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes scheduled jobs don't run properly and we occasionally just re-create a task under a different name to get it working again. Not a big deal but just odd Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The best thing about Automox is that the entire solution is cloud based. Being a software developer it eliminates the need to have the entire complex solution, which makes it very easy to scale and deploy across different distributed team. Another thing that I find very useful is its ability to automate patching through policy-based rules, so this allows patches to be deployed efficiently without any disruptions. The thing that I dislike about Automox is it does not have built in automatic patch rollback feature for problematic updates. So if it installs any patch which does not well E2E, we have to manually uninstall it or make custom updates to rectify Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I like most about Automox is the fact that it can apply patches to multiple different operating systems. I also like that it has the ability to schedule when patching will be done across multiple different groups of devices. Automox is one of the easiest implementations that I have done for patch management, its simple dashboard that can be exported to PDF that gives an overview of Compliant Devices, Policies Executed and available patches. Furthermore the policies that you can create are simple and effective, giving you options to install patches that does not require a reboot daily and patches that require a reboot weekly. Automox also integrates with SAML which makes sign in much more streamlined. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dont have much negative feedback other than the session expiry is a slight bit short, and it is quite expensive compared to other patch management solutions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I’ve been using Automox as part of our organization’s MSSP services, and it’s become a key component of our vulnerability management offering. What stands out most is how straightforward and user friendly the platform is getting it up and running was a breeze. The product is always improving, with regular updates that show the team is serious about keeping it up to date and responsive to needs.
The support team is great to respond and really helpful whenever we’ve needed assistance. The leadership team deserves a shoutout for how well they listen to their customers. They value feedback and are committed to making Automox better. For anyone looking for a reliable, evolving tool to tackle patch/vulnerability management, Automox is a solid choice. One area where Automox could improve is in reporting making it a bit more robust would really enhance the experience, especially for those of us digging into the details for MSSP work. Additionally, improving how third party application versions are displayed would make it easier for engineers to search for software deployed across their tenant. Automox is one of the best products in the markets, which enables convenient endpoint management for Roaming endpoints. Automx is a cloud native, cloud based, modern solution for endpoint management. When comparing with other counterparts in the market, Automox offers more features for its low cost. Implementation is straight forward and easy. Since it is a cloud based product, it carries seamless integrations with other cloud based security solutions. For an example it has a native integration with SentinelOne XDR which enables realtime patch management for endpoints. We have seen these features being used in many environments. Customers frequently use Automox to gain an edge over vulnerabilities easily. Automox also have robust structure of providing sales and after sales support as well. Being a cloud native SAAS solution, Automox does not have the capability to provide a viable solution for patch management in on-premise devices which are not exposed to internet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As an IT engineer responsible for maintaining endpoint compliance and keeping systems updated with our software and patching standards, I’ve found Automox particularly impressive. The user interface is intuitive and easy to navigate, making it simple to access the necessary data. Since implementing Automox across multiple client environments, we’ve achieved greater control and a more consistent, up-to-date operating environment. Additionally, the customer support has been outstanding, quickly resolving any issues to minimize downtime and ensure our clients’ environments remain stable and secure
Best and easy to use at the end is all! Ease of implemtation Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
So far, I have not encountered any issues with using Automox, so nothing I dislike about it Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I truly love the fact that for most setups, it's a 'set it and forget it' platform. We typically set up our patches to "Patch All" and do every available update 1 evening a week. It's easy to notify the users of a standard maintenance window, once a week in the evening, and set the expectation that their computers will be updated and perhaps reboot during that time. It's also nice to have the additional feature of the "Worklet", where I can create a basic script that can run either on a schedule or on demand. For example, we've had computers that will lose the sync to their timezone, so having a script that resets and resyncs the Windows time service is super handy. I don't need to touch their machine, I just click into the worklet, add their device, and within 5 minutes they are writing me to say it's all set!
Every time I've had to reach out to Automox support, they have been super helpful. If they can't provide an easy answer, they seem to go the extra mile and find a way to do what I am looking to do. I've been very impressed with the dedication and knowledge they've brought to my support tickets.
As a fully remote company, with users all over the United States, it makes it so easy to ensure that devices stay updated and compliant. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really don't have too many complaints about Automox, the only one that really stands out is that it doesn't have an option to force stop some programs if they are running. Snagit and Zoom come to mind. I would like the option to notify the user that the sofware is about to be updated, and they have the option to defer or accept. If accepted (or not acknowledged) within 15 minutes the program is force-closed and updated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Personally, I like that the team behind Automox did a great job designing the user interface, it is intuitive and user friendly. You get everything you need for the job without excess interface. This helped several of our team members get a proper understanding of both capabilities and limits. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The process of deploying scripts can be improved. At times, tracking progress and status proved challenging for some members of our team. Locating script logs often proved difficult once we had deployed. We figured out ways to work around it. If anything, was a minor concern from the get go. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

hard to send real time update in the organization devices in automox Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
In my own words what I like best about auto marks would be the way it streamlines policy creation as well as making sure all pcs are up to date and working properly. Another great feature that I also love using would be its remote control option which gives me the ability to remote into any PC on the network or off the network to resolve it issues as the it administrator that is very handy Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
In my personal opinion the only downside is their load. its by far the slowest remote control software I've ever used. Even Google remote desktop (which is completley free) is lightning fast compared to connecting with Automox Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Distribution architechor not supported. So we cant use this protection to low bandwith environment because ecah and individual clients geting updates directly from internet. if we have a option to setup an update server on prem, it will be help to save the band with because countries like sri lanka have to invest alot about bandwidth.
