The system support has been amazing. Any queston I have had has been answered with ease or with a clear path to help to tech support or someone who specializes in the area in question. Getting connected with knowledgable people is so important when learning the system. The tutorials are also helpful.
I love the ease of adding new books either by entering the isbn number or by searching the database.

Getting to the right section to change things within the system is sometimes cumbersome as there are so many labels for each section and once you get into the section there are a lot of lines per subject. For example: the settings for the receipt printer are buried in three layers of clicks before you get to the subject needed and if you've gone the wrong direction you have to back out and click through all of the layers again. I am not sure the solution, but I prefer to be able to figure things out on my own than to call for help and the system does not seem to be very intuitive. I understand the struggle of making one system fit thousands of libraries so I'll just call for help when needed... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have been using Atriuum for various years after using 2 other systems at different jobs. I think it is super easy, and especially like the new upgrades, makes life much easier, and volunteers and patrons really like the new feature to find out what is available at the library instead of googling other books etc. Catalog and online versions are very nice and clean and easy to use. Some older volunteers take a while to understand the flow, but that is understandable, as they have never catalogued a book before. It takes a few tries to get familiarized with it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is so easy to figure out. I have had systems that were so confusing that I just wanted to do so much by hand.
Atriuum was so easy to implement. As an elementary librarian of over 700 students, I frequently check out 150-200 books a day, so I need something that is capable of keeping up with me. It was so much more easy to integrate than my former one. This system is fast for catalogueing. Keep track of records has never been so simple and quick. Inventory is a snap, condsidering you don't have to have your shelves in perfect Dewey order. I love that I can send emails to teachers remind students of overdue books. Atriuum also has wonderful customer support. My representative is always available and has up to date inforamtion to questions that I may have. I would not have any other system! I have been using Atriuum for over twenty years at my school library. It is the most user friendly software for libraries available. My students love the kid-friendly OPAC with fun designs that can set to automatically change with the seasons. I use Atriuum's customizable toobar at the top to make frequent jobs a snap. It is easy for me to access reports, and I can change the way they are sorted or add columns of information I need. Importing marc records is simple. Best of all, the tech support is not outsourced. The customer service is handled right there in their office with a professional and courteous staff who know the program inside and out. I absolutely love using Atrium ILS! It can do so much, but yet it is pretty simple to learn how to use. It has truly made my job easier. I have student helpers and the ease of use allows me to easily teach them how to use it. I love all the different reports I am able to run, but it makes it even better that I am able to customize them to fit my individual needs.
The customer support is one of the best I've seen. I can not say enough great things about their customer support! Anytime I have ever contacted them, they reply quickly. They are very friendly and knowledgeable and have always been able to fix any issues I may have had.

Most of the time if I do call, rather than email, the technicians are busy and have to get back with me, but it has always been within 24 hours, so I can't really complain about that. I really don't have anyting I dislike. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love the ease of the program. It has all of the bells and whisltles anyone could ever want , but still remains super easy to learn to use and to navigate. I can create my own custom reports in the blink of an eye and that makes my job so much easier. Last year, we switched from our own server to having Atriuum host our data and that has been amazing. Atriuum is linked to our Powerschools and data flows seamlessly from one to the other. It's updated daily to reflect when students enroll or withdraw and our students are managed without our tech people at our school having to do anything. I am ready to check out books on my first day of school with students becasue of this. Best of all, their customer service is outstanding. When you call them, you get personalized service. You can call their office and talk to an actual human being. They know you are when you call and they remember your school and situation. I'm always thankful for the hands-on service they provide from our sales reps to the technicians that you deal with when you have to place a service call for technical help. They are friendly and always helpful, from the hardest question to the simplest. I'm so grateful that we chose their company years go. They provided us with top of the line software then and continue to do so now. I've worked in two different school systems and two different libraries, elementary and middle school, and this product has served us so well in both school systems and both types of libraries. Of all of the programs I've ever used in schools, I can honestly say this one is my very favorite because it alwasys works and the company stands behind their project 100%! The only downside is sometimes when you do need technical help, the technician will have to schedule a service call instead of having someone on the phone with you immediately. That being said, I haven't had to schedule a service call in about three years because this program just works, so that really isn't a problem for me at all. Since we switched to having them host our data, we have had zero issues, from my school or any of our other libraries in our school system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We especially like the web based advantage of being able to access it anywhere and anytime to service our patrons. Even when our physical books were recently destroyed in a fire, because our catalog was stored offsite, we were able to reconstruct and easily order replacements using the excellent reports feature. Our patrons love the Librista app because they can search the catalog while on the go and reserve books anytime. Atriuum ILS is a dependable system that offers outstanding functionality. It has a great user experience for both the patrons as well as library staff. We have been with Atriuum since 2013 and have enjoyed the system very much. The initial transition was trouble free and included training, lots of Q&A and attention from the team at Atriuum. The support team is always available by phone or email for any questions, needs and concerns.
The OPAC view is clean, friendly and easy for anyone to use. We love to calendar the themes to display each month or holiday. Adding the Overdrive tab on a search was a great addition so we can promote our other eBook options.
We have enjoyed a constant, internet-based product that is never “down”. We are able to use the site across all devices in house and even offer new cards and checkouts during outreach programs on mobile devices. Librista app has also been gaining popularity with our patrons. A digital library card is priceless!
The Reporting options are extensive. A library often needs to report on many types of information and Atriuum’s options are abundant enough to fulfill the reporting requirements.
Looking ahead, Atriuum consistently evaluates library needs for the future, regularly offers upgrades within the program and works diligently to make libraries aware of changes and enhancements to the program.

Atriuum customer service is incredible! I can email or call and my questions or problems are responded to quickly. The IT department is also very creative and able to create reports specifically for my library needs. The reps are also responsive and positive. I appreciate their patience and willingness to go through step by step any problems I might have or questions on how to fix a problem.
