What do you like best about Assembly?

From day one, Assembly has impressed us with its ease of use—the interface is clean, intuitive, and user-friendly, making it effortless for everyone on the team to send kudos, recognize wins, and celebrate milestones. It takes just a few clicks to give meaningful recognition, and that accessibility has encouraged frequent use across departments.

Implementation was seamless—onboarding the platform was quick and hassle-free, thanks to clear documentation and fantastic customer support that guided us at every step. Their support team is responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about helping you succeed with the tool.

What really sets Assembly apart is its rich feature set. Beyond simple recognition, it offers customizable reward programs, value-aligned shoutouts, automated celebrations for birthdays and work anniversaries, and even analytics to track engagement. It’s a complete package that grows with your team’s needs.

We've also found the integration capabilities to be a huge plus. Assembly plugs right into our Slack workspace and Google tools, which keeps the recognition flowing naturally in our existing workflows—no extra friction, no new tabs to manage.

Our team uses Assembly consistently every week, and it's become an essential part of our company culture. It boosts morale, encourages collaboration, and reinforces the values we care about most.

Highly recommended for any organization that wants to build a stronger, more connected, and more appreciated team! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Assembly?

One area for improvement: we’d love to see more customization options in the reward catalog, especially for international teams or remote workers in different regions. Expanding this would make an already excellent experience even better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Assembly solving and how is that benefiting you?

Assembly is solving one of the most common but overlooked problems in the workplace: lack of recognition and engagement.

Before Assembly, we didn’t have a consistent or visible way to celebrate achievements, acknowledge day-to-day contributions, or reinforce our company values. Recognition was sporadic, siloed, and often limited to team leads or performance reviews.

Assembly changed that completely. It democratized appreciation—giving every team member a voice in recognizing their peers. Now, recognition happens in real-time, across all departments, and in a way that’s visible and meaningful. This has led to:

Stronger team morale – People feel seen and valued for their efforts.

Higher engagement – Employees are more motivated to contribute and collaborate.

Better culture alignment – Shoutouts are tied to core values, keeping our mission front and center.

Improved retention – Employees who feel appreciated are more likely to stay.

By solving the "invisible work" problem and making appreciation part of our everyday culture, Assembly is helping us build a more connected, motivated, and positive workplace. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Assembly?

As an employee using Assembly, I can honestly say it’s one of the best corporate recognition platforms out there! It’s transformed how our team celebrates each other’s wins, big and small. Giving recognition is so easy—whether it’s a quick shoutout for a job well done or a thoughtful note for someone’s extra effort, the platform’s intuitive design makes it fun and seamless. I love how I can tag teammates in Slack to share kudos instantly!

Being notified that a colleague or manager has acknowledged my work boosts my confidence! The points system is a great touch—redeeming them for rewards like gift cards or even a lunch with the CEO feels like a real pat on the back. It is so easy to redeem and use points.

Assembly’s transparency, like seeing who’s giving and receiving shoutouts, fosters a sense of community and motivates everyone to contribute. It’s not just a tool; it’s a culture driver that makes me feel valued and connected. I am using it more and more each week! It's so easy to use, and I highly recommend it to any team looking to elevate their workplace vibe! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Assembly?

Nothing as of yet! But I will most definitely let you know! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Assembly solving and how is that benefiting you?

It does a better job at encouraging people for doing the right activities. But it's more than just a Thank You and here's a cup of coffee! It motivates us even more to give our all, to Be Bold and Feel Empowered to do our job at the highest levels! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Assembly?

We currently live in a world where we are stuck behind screens in the comfort of our own homes. Assembly really brings people together and let's us get to know the social side of one another without having to be in the same building. It helps facilitate conversation, creates an opportunity to personalize work a little bit more, and gives a mental break every once in a while.

Our team is using this tool quite a bit given we are spread across the country. It is easy to navigate, understand and personalize. Even though I was not part of bringing this application into the company, I have heard from many that it was easy to set up and relatively simple to roll out to the field. It seamlessly integrated with our recognition program we had already begun. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Assembly?

There are few downsides to the user experience when it comes to Assembly. From logging in, to writing comments, everything is pretty seamless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Assembly solving and how is that benefiting you?

Assembly is solving the problem of being spread out and not involved in face to face interactions. We are a company that is spread across all states east of the Mississippi river so getting to know one another is rather difficult and typically seems more transactional. Assembly gives us that sense of personalization and caring that we often forget when working remote. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Assembly?

I really enjoy the little things which give a positive spin on a day at work. You can't always have the best days, but seeing some of the interactions on Assembly really give a little smile or laughter to the team. It brings you closer in a way to everyone you work with, even if you have a larger company. A social media style interaction with the family within the boundaries of your company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Assembly?

I would say my most disliked thing in any platform is when someone tags @everyone and you get those notifications. A lot of times it isn't pertaining to the items I enjoy following, so it's just an extra email to mark as read. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Assembly solving and how is that benefiting you?

I believe the biggest benefit is the interactions that you can have throughout the company. It's a wide range of people across the country and having the connection through a different platform is nice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Assembly?

Assembly makes it super easy to praise your co-workers and in turn be praised! The interface is simple, it takes just a few seconds to complete an evaluation and send gifts PLUS as a gift recipient its super simple and easy to redeem points. Finally, they have a great variety of gift card and reward options!! All around solid tool! Would 100% recommend! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Assembly?

No real downsides to this app. I don't know how much administration of it costs, as I'm only an end user. I imagine that might be the only bone of contention BUT again I have no idea how much pricing is!

As an end user this application is absolutely perfect! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Assembly solving and how is that benefiting you?

I think we all know about the importance of recognizing the contributions of coworkers to overall office culture, morale and team cohesiveness. Sometimes however showing that appreciation is difficult (or can seem difficult). There are so many factors to consider: like do you write a letter or send an email? Will a simple team message or chat suffice? What if you want others to know how helpful a coworker was?

Assembly answers all these questions in a single application. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Assembly?

I like the different functions available to Assembly. It’s useful for recognizing peers in the workplace, and gives people a true sense of appreciation for one another. The visuals of the app are friendly and happy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Assembly?

The app is incredibly glitchy. In devices outside of a smartphone, the app tends to not want to load anything you click on. This is the case for everyone in my company; we all share the same complaints. And some of the glitching transfers over to smartphones as well. It’s difficult to use the app at times because of it regardless of how well thought out it is. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Assembly solving and how is that benefiting you?

It solves the problem of lack of recognition in the workplace. Our company genuinely uses it for the purposes outlined and the engagement makes things fun for our team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Assembly?

It's easy to use, the posts are simple, the UI is, it's fun to use the Gifs and it's nice to give something to your collagues. And it's great to get acknowledged from others and being able to "cash-out" the points for a gift card. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Assembly?

I don't think I dislike anything - it works well and serves a great purpose in our organization. My only feedback would be to add more options of what we believe a person has done well (like leadership, excellence, etc) - but maybe this was preselected by my organization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Assembly solving and how is that benefiting you?

We don't have a bonus system but this is a nice little "extra". Now, I don't believe we can compare those with each other but to me it feels nice to get the acknowledgment and to see what others are getting celebrated for. It is very motivational. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Assembly?

Assembly is super easy to use and has great features to spice up posts and easily tag colleagues so they get a boost of reward points. I used other tools at big enterprises in my past workplaces, but Assembly truly surpasses all those experiences...not just "warp speed" better, but more like "ludicrous speed" awesome! The variety of gifs to add into posts, the flexibility for our Assembly admin to create social and helpful folders and flows....there's just a ton of cool features in Assembly. It also integrated into MS Teams very easily and the mobile app on my iPhone is another way for me to stay engaged even when I'm not at my laptop. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Assembly?

I dislike that I sometimes start to spend a little too much time having fun posting on Assembly when I probably should get back to getting some work done. It's just a fun tool to use and spread goodness across our company culture: encouragement, care, humor, and recognition of others' hard work, creativity, and general awesomeness. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Assembly solving and how is that benefiting you?

We're a 100% remote workforce and Assembly provides us another viable option for building our personal relationships and bonding opportunities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Assembly?

I like being able to stay in touch with co workers in different departments and different branch locations. I feel I am able to stay in the loop with things going on within our company. I also love the feature of being able to give recognition to coworkers and post gifs and emojis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Assembly?

I wish i was able to prioritize post made by specific people, or filter by branch location or department that posters work in. This would allow me to see information that was more applicable to myself when i have limited time during the day to check assembly posts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Assembly solving and how is that benefiting you?

I work with many other departments ( call center, roof inspectors, rehash etc.) daily, but I rarely see these coworkers in person. Assembly allows me to stay in touch with them, as well as provide them with recognition for their help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Assembly?

Redeeming rewards in India feels a little limited. The options we have are okay, but if there were more variety and local choices, it would make the experience much better! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
