We currently live in a world where we are stuck behind screens in the comfort of our own homes. Assembly really brings people together and let's us get to know the social side of one another without having to be in the same building. It helps facilitate conversation, creates an opportunity to personalize work a little bit more, and gives a mental break every once in a while.
Our team is using this tool quite a bit given we are spread across the country. It is easy to navigate, understand and personalize. Even though I was not part of bringing this application into the company, I have heard from many that it was easy to set up and relatively simple to roll out to the field. It seamlessly integrated with our recognition program we had already begun. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are few downsides to the user experience when it comes to Assembly. From logging in, to writing comments, everything is pretty seamless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really enjoy the little things which give a positive spin on a day at work. You can't always have the best days, but seeing some of the interactions on Assembly really give a little smile or laughter to the team. It brings you closer in a way to everyone you work with, even if you have a larger company. A social media style interaction with the family within the boundaries of your company. I would say my most disliked thing in any platform is when someone tags @everyone and you get those notifications. A lot of times it isn't pertaining to the items I enjoy following, so it's just an extra email to mark as read. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Assembly makes it super easy to praise your co-workers and in turn be praised! The interface is simple, it takes just a few seconds to complete an evaluation and send gifts PLUS as a gift recipient its super simple and easy to redeem points. Finally, they have a great variety of gift card and reward options!! All around solid tool! Would 100% recommend! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
No real downsides to this app. I don't know how much administration of it costs, as I'm only an end user. I imagine that might be the only bone of contention BUT again I have no idea how much pricing is!
As an end user this application is absolutely perfect! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the different functions available to Assembly. It’s useful for recognizing peers in the workplace, and gives people a true sense of appreciation for one another. The visuals of the app are friendly and happy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The app is incredibly glitchy. In devices outside of a smartphone, the app tends to not want to load anything you click on. This is the case for everyone in my company; we all share the same complaints. And some of the glitching transfers over to smartphones as well. It’s difficult to use the app at times because of it regardless of how well thought out it is. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's easy to use, the posts are simple, the UI is, it's fun to use the Gifs and it's nice to give something to your collagues. And it's great to get acknowledged from others and being able to "cash-out" the points for a gift card. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't think I dislike anything - it works well and serves a great purpose in our organization. My only feedback would be to add more options of what we believe a person has done well (like leadership, excellence, etc) - but maybe this was preselected by my organization. Assembly is super easy to use and has great features to spice up posts and easily tag colleagues so they get a boost of reward points. I used other tools at big enterprises in my past workplaces, but Assembly truly surpasses all those experiences...not just "warp speed" better, but more like "ludicrous speed" awesome! The variety of gifs to add into posts, the flexibility for our Assembly admin to create social and helpful folders and flows....there's just a ton of cool features in Assembly. It also integrated into MS Teams very easily and the mobile app on my iPhone is another way for me to stay engaged even when I'm not at my laptop. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike that I sometimes start to spend a little too much time having fun posting on Assembly when I probably should get back to getting some work done. It's just a fun tool to use and spread goodness across our company culture: encouragement, care, humor, and recognition of others' hard work, creativity, and general awesomeness. I like being able to stay in touch with co workers in different departments and different branch locations. I feel I am able to stay in the loop with things going on within our company. I also love the feature of being able to give recognition to coworkers and post gifs and emojis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish i was able to prioritize post made by specific people, or filter by branch location or department that posters work in. This would allow me to see information that was more applicable to myself when i have limited time during the day to check assembly posts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The Assembly Recognition Portal is so amazing for workplace culture! It helps a lot in saying thanks to teammates and celebrating their wins, big or small. This platform makes it very easy to show appreciation in a meaningful way. What I like most is how simple it is. Anyone can use it! It lets every effort, even the small ones, get noticed. The design is so user-friendly, and you can customize it to make it more personal when you want to say thanks. It really helps teams feel more happy and connected. It’s not just a tool; it’s like a way to make the workplace more positive and nice. Assembly has changed how we show gratitude and celebrate others. I think every team should try it. Highly recommending it! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Redeeming rewards in India feels a little limited. The options we have are okay, but if there were more variety and local choices, it would make the experience much better! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The best thing about the assembly is I can instantly recognise a team member or a colleague for his help or great work. I can add core values, a line to the success or I can add monetary values like coins which can be encased by the user. definitely it is a great way to recognise and motivate him for further achieving greater success. Nothing to dislike as such however, if I could see a section or menu where I can see all recognitions I have given with details, then it will be really great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love how quick and easy it is to send gratitude, props, or silly thoughts to a coworker with GIFs. There is such a huge library of fun options to choose from. Commenting on posts is also fun. It helps our remote team feel more connected. I love that it integrates into our slack channel so I can easily check for content throughout the day. Easy to use, easy to enjoy and a great way to get a feel for remote employee personalities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
If I forget to add a gif to my original post in Assembly, the feed to our slack channel never updates with that image, which is a bummer. It only shows up in the edited comment on Assembly. This probably has less to do with your system than the communication between platforms but it would increase my happiness factor with Assembly if it worked more seamlessly.
