Top Rated Assemble Alternatives

Companies that include equity as a significant element of compensation, struggle with how to tell a consistent and accurate future-looking total compensation story to candidates (and existing employees). Assemble is the solution. Their visual offer letter is RIDICULOUSLY effective at demonstrating the value of equity, and the full compensation package. This will sound like an exaggeration, but we have almost a 100% accept rate with Assemble visual offer letters. You get to iterate on the design and use your own branding. The end product that the candidate receives is slick. I knew we had a hit when we hired a recruiter and they said that the Assemble offer letter was a primary reason for them accepting our offer, as they could see how it would help close candidates (and make them successful as a recruiter).
The visual offer letters are just one facet of their offering. Assemble continues to add more functionality (pay equality, and salary band generation as an example). You also have the ability to segment access, so you can give tech recruiters access to tech salary bands, and business recruiters access to their bands. You can even give department heads access to just their own salary bands. The software is intuitive to use, and the settings are easy to update. The Assemble team is agile - when we have a customization request they respond quickly, and if it's relevant to their other customers they add it to their core functionality.
We've acquired a few other companies and wanted to have an Assemble instance for each (with their own salary bands, graphics, and branding). Assemble made that happen! There are also Workday integration capabilities.
I cannot recommend this product enough. Sit through a demo and you will understand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Truthfully there is nothing that is missing from the product. The Assemble team is responsive, and when we were too busy initially to upload and finalize our own salary bands, they asked for our file and did the heavy lifting for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As an HR generalist, I find a ton of value in a good compensation planning tool whenever comp planning season rolls around. The Assemble platform is easy to use and the UI is great. Working in the tech industry, you can't deny how important a good UI can be for ease of use and employee/stakeholder adoption. The compensation planning tool is highly customizable and straight forward to set up, manage, and edit. Our integrations with BambooHR and Carta run seamlessly in the background and if we ever run into any issues, Ethan is there to support! Speaking of support, Ethan and Zach are incredible compensation partners. Our team has learned so much from them and they have enabled us to become more confident in our understanding of compensation, as it relates to our company. We are consistently updating our comp bands in Assemble. This gives us a clear and concise way to vizualize our compensation data across our company. We love using Assemble and working with their team! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I do wish there was an integration that could push reward letters to an HRIS. Or maybe they could generate the letter within Assemble, to make sharing reward letters with employees/their managers directly in-app? I would also love to see historical compensation band data in Assemble as well. I hope to see these on their roadmap in the future! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The tool is extremely user-friendly and provides more transparency and education around compensatino for our employees and managers. It centralizes compensation data (including equity) and streamlines processes, making it easy to manage everything in one place. The platform has helped reduce our compensation cycle administration time by at least 80%, getting us out of google sheets (for the most part!) and freeing up time to be more strategic. Implementation was very easy and we were able to launch within a few weeks. Additionally, their customer support is responsive and helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are still some manual components involved, though it’s a significant improvement over fully manual processes. For example, adding a notifications feature for compensation planners would enhance its functionality. Another area for improvement is the compa-ratio calculation, which is currently based on base salary rather than total cash, a preference that may not align with every company's needs. Absolutely nothing! Whenever we make a product recommendation, the team listens attentively and, when it aligns with their goals, integrates it into their product roadmap. They are fantastic partners. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

With Assemble, you're not just getting a static tool; you're gaining access to a platform that continuously evolves to meet the ever-changing demands of compensation planning and management - supported by an incredible team that not only values client feedback but also implements it quickly! It's easy to use and implement.
The Assemble team has helped us achieve some of our most critical goals, which have had a big impact on our culture, processes, and overall team success. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I personally have not experienced any downside; my only wishlist item is an integration with our performance management tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We've been using Assemble for almost two years now. When I was doing my search for a compensation platform, I looked at a lot of the usual competitors (Pave, Radford, Carta). No one particular platform hit all the marks we were after. We're a small but growing company, and I really wanted something that we could customize and grow as need be. In addition to that, some salary data sources are better than others for particular comp.
What I loved so much about Assemble is that we could pick and choose where to pull our salary data from in addition to customizing our career tracks. We're then able to grow those tracks as the company grows.
The user experience blows by the competition by far and away. It's incredibly easy to use as an admin as well as a general user. We've been able to gradually ramp our salary transparency which has been fantastic for our org.
The offer deck feature is an incredibly luxurious bonus. We've received nothing but high praise for our offer letters from candidate. It's fantastic that we're able to lay out total comp in those decks as well as for all our active employees.
Customer support is great--we get our questions answered and resolved usually same day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This is a nit, but you do have to be mindful when looking at bands to uncheck the equity marker. This has thrown our leadership team and general users for a loop--even with the banner, I have to constantly remind people to uncheck. I really wish that was just automatically unchecked or that there was an option to change that setting.
I would love to see more time invested on merit cycle. Whether that's a proper integration with other perf tools like Lattice/Leapsome/Culture Amp or revving up merit cycle so that written pitches can be attached to numbers, I'd like to be able to do our full merit cycle within Assemble but can't at this point in time because there's too much we need externally to pull in. The tool was very easy to understand and to roll to executives and managers. All of the data is easily accessible and easy to export. It is very a intuitive system. The support and implementation team were by far the best I have ever worked with. Quick response times and always willing to help. We customized our tool for our business and have been so happy. Highly recommend! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Its a new product. While there are still lots of features in development, the team has been great to listen to our requests and quickly move them to the product team to make them available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Very good team with clear and helpful insights. The platform provides the leverage needed to make good business decisions and allows us to make strategic moves based off of fact. Safes me time while improving outcomes. Love Assemble as a platform and a team! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think there is an opportunity to continue strengthening the data inputs to the system and ensure the external comparisons are apples to apples. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
RE: the overall product -
The product supports our international hiring across Latin America and Europe
The illustrative offers really help us close candidates faster and more confidently
The team helped us choose a data set provider that worked for our specific use case
I must note, however, that my favorite part of Assemble has been working with their team. Not only have Ethan and Zach shared their immense expertise with us in order to tailor the best solution to our organization, but they have been patient, kind and extremely flexible. It has been an absolute pleasure and joy to work with them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Assemble has been very useful for us thus far. There is nothing glaring that is not likeable. Anything we have asked for or inquired about has already been taken care of, updated or will be included in a future product enhancement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Assemble’s user-friendly interface is well-designed and highly user-friendly, making it really easy to navigate and use. One of the standout feature of this product is the expert knowledge the team provides. The team is consistently offering valuable compensation insights and perspectives to our program. They have really helped our cross-department collaboration, ensuring everyone is on the same page when it comes to compensation decisions. It has been an absolute pleasure working with the Assemble team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We understand that as a newer tool, there is some room for improvement in terms of customization and reporting features which may not currently meet our expectations. But with time and continuous product iteration, I believe these features will be further developed! In addition, a better integration with our existing tech stack, as it would alleviate the manual efforts required at the end of each compensation cycle. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
