What do you like best about AppsFlyer?

AppsFlyer’s dashboard is visually well-designed and provides a lot of detailed metrics, but the reliability of that data is severely lacking based on my experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AppsFlyer?

Our experience with AppsFlyer has been nothing short of disastrous. In a single month, they generated fake install data that not only inflated conversion events but also exceeded the total lifetime installs recorded in the App Store for our app. This glaring inaccuracy was alarming and made their platform completely unreliable for tracking actual performance.

Instead of addressing the issue, their team tried to gaslight us into believing the data was valid and then pivoted to aggressively upsell us on additional packages. They seemed more interested in squeezing more money out of us than resolving the obvious errors in their platform.

To add insult to injury, they are now trying to charge us $20,000 for that same month of fraudulent data. This is an outrageous practice that feels like a bait-and-switch—lure you in with promises of accurate analytics, then trap you with inflated bills and false data to justify them.

If you're looking for a trustworthy attribution partner, steer clear of AppsFlyer. There are better options out there that won't play fast and loose with your data—or your wallet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Dani Peterman of AppsFlyer

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.

We deeply value transparency and accountability and are truly sorry to hear about your frustrations.

We understand that such situations can be challenging and deeply frustrating.

Please rest assured that we remain committed to working collaboratively with you. Maintaining the integrity and accuracy of data is core to our mission, and we strive to uphold the highest industry standards to protect our customers.

This is so convinient, easy of use and comprehensive tools at the same time. It helps to solve the main problem of business: to understand which type of media source attracted that client.

One more thing I like from Appsflyer is immediate support from manager and technical team.

I like how robust attribution techstack is. I like how flexible the UI can be, letting you create custom dashboards in the Home section as well as saving dashboards in the My Dashboard sections. Support is amazing, the depth of knowledge of the account managers is high quality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AppsFlyer?

Pricing is very high relative to all other MMPs. The OneLink product is a bit more complex than needed. You should be able to export directly from a table (i.e. SKAN Overview or Classic Overview) being able to group by date. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about AppsFlyer?

That it solves for nearly every use case that an app brand could have wrt app attribution. Some things that stand out are: Onelinks and the adaptive deferred deeplinking campabilities, the activity and overview dashboards, audience creation (default segments are very helpful), in-depth insights via raw reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AppsFlyer?

- That the unique user level data isn't readily available in any of the dashboards

- The whole CTV attribution piece seems faily complex, unlike that of Android apps Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about AppsFlyer?

AppsFlyer is the leader in the market and it is not without cause! The amount of features offered to businesses and the support is amazing. The SKAN model in particular is great for cost retention and calculation. Also the deep linking module is the best in the market Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AppsFlyer?

Nothing so far. A suggestion for a new feature or an expansion is to include also interstitial ads and app cards. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about AppsFlyer?

Advanced technology and data aggregation. You can use accurate and dependable insights. 6 of 10 apps using Appsflyer, so you should do it as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AppsFlyer?

The pricing can be high for smaller companies or startups. The second thing is a default dashboard. It lacks polish and functionality, and can't be customated in the way you like. You probably may expect something more than this one. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about AppsFlyer?

Integration with various platforms, comfortable dashboards , customization. Ability to track various ad sources in one place is very time efficient and helps making business decisions easier. Also i would like to tell that custom dashboards are saving a lot of time when you need to create various reports monthly. Ability to be integrated with services like sendgrid and mailchimp and salesforce is bringing email marketing to a new level. One link configurations always help to track users outside of digital world. For example you can use qr codes which are being provided when you create a qr code to track app downloads outside of the digital world. And all of this mentioned above in one place makes appsflyer one of the best platforms in the market Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AppsFlyer?

My main gripe has been the user interface. At times, it feels slightly less intuitive than I'd like, which means digging deep into metrics can take a tad longer than desired. However, I've heard they're actively refining this, so I'm hopeful for smoother navigation in the future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
