Recommendations to others considering Appoint.ly:
You should definitely give it a shot. It's free to use and requires minimal time commitment to set up, so there's really no downside. If for some reason you don't like it, all you 've lost is a few minutes of your time. If you do like it, then you've got an effective, efficient way to schedule meetings with external parties. And with how many videoconferences we're all doing these days, finding a way to schedule them more efficiently will save you a bunch of time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What problems is Appoint.ly solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem is the inefficiency of scheduling external calls and videoconferences via email. I was doing it by saying things like "Please let me know a few dates and times in the coming weeks that would be good for you and your team, and I'll try to find one of those that works for me and my colleagues." I'd then get a reply with a few dates and times that the external party suggests, and would hope one of the timeslots was free on everyone's calendars (or was already occupied by something that could be moved). This cuts that part of the process out, and lets external partners view your schedule so they can pick a timeslot when you're available that also is convenient for them.
