I like the ability to keep track of my assets and also be able to auto install packages without having to go to the physical machines to help support my staff. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have nothing to dislike about Apple Remote Desktop. It is great😁!! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The Scanner of compatible equipment is a great help, because it gives simplicity to the search of the files to use. The color mark on the equipment that is available and those that does not help the network administration much. Additionally, you can choose in each connection the quality of the connection, which allows you to adjust for low bandwidth environments. The information about the version of the OS you connect and the active application also facilitates administration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It has several windows to do remote searches on computers. Some of the tools are not working with the latest versions of OS available, for example: opening remote documents through the use of ARD does not automatically open the preview on the local computer. Very easy to use, and robust. Apple Remote Desktop provides a wide range of functionality at very low cost. It does network to network very well ( once setup) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
ARD is its inability to map to multiple machines behind a router. Without the proper VPN router setup, you can only specify one machine on the other side of a router ( again without VPN'ing into the whole networks) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Super helpful and intuitive to manage multiple MacOS machines. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This isn't cross-platform tech, so it's not helpful when you need a lot of different Ones running Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love that I can access my work from home so easily -- much better than carrying around multiple computers! Once you log on to a certain server once, it remembers the pathway so you don't have to enter a bunch of things every time you use it. It is also fairly easy to go back and forth between the remote desktop and your own -- when you switch back to regular desktop the things that you left open on the remote desktop won't close. Occasionally the remote desktop takes a while to connect. It also requires a fairly good internet connection, which can be an issue when working remotely (which is kind of the point of the software). Other than that though it meets my needs great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
