"AI-Enhanced Insights, Easy Learning Curve"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?

I think Amplitude Analytics is pretty detailed, and once you include it in your website, you can easily track data, and there's a lot of things to discover. I also really enjoy the AI analytics because it helps me see opportunities that I wouldn't even think of. It suggests ideas that help me solve problems easier, which is really helpful. What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?

I think one thing that could be improved is just the ability for us to create a more complicated event or properties. I think maybe by creating properties we could use AI as well. So, like, sometimes we can describe or add more things without having to manually choose something? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Event-Based Feature Flags Enable Truly Dynamic UI Experiences"
4/5
What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?

I like the feature flag functionality, especially that I can enable flags based on events triggered from my app. However, sometimes it doesn’t work reliably because of the delay between an event being triggered and it being processed. For example, I’m giving my users a dynamic UI based on their inputs, but in the next step—where I’m using my feature flag—the behavior isn’t consistent.

One more thing I don’t like is the masking levels on text fields. Passwords and other sensitive fields being masked is fine, but I’m still able to see basic input fields in session replays. If the masking level had a few more enum cases, I think it would be more developer-friendly and easier to control what shows up in replays. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Customer support service: Last week, I was struggling with a memory issue and I reached out to your team for help, but they couldn’t resolve it. They only told me that a new update was available and asked me to update the SDK, but my issue still persists. If they take their customers seriously and provide proper support, it would be fine. "Powerful Analytics with a Steep Learning Curve and Pricing Challenges"
5/5
What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?

The concept of deep analytics for your product is truly impressive. My initial experience, particularly when working with my B2B customers, has been remarkable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?

One drawback is the considerable technical expertise required simply to begin using the platform and to operate it regularly. The learning curve tends to be gradual, which can make adoption difficult for certain teams. Furthermore, the monetization model charging per monthly active user—may not suit all businesses, particularly B2C companies that rely on a freemium-to-premium strategy. "My Go-To for Full-Funnel User Behavior Insights"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?

I use Amplitude Analytics primarily to understand how customers actually move through our site and app, not just where traffic comes from. It’s my go-to tool for analyzing user behavior across the full funnel, from product views and searches to add-to-cart, checkout, and repeat purchases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?

What I dislike about Amplitude mostly comes down to complexity and accessibility. It’s an incredibly powerful platform, but that power also brings a steep learning curve. For non-technical stakeholders or new team members, it can feel overwhelming at first, and it often takes a lot of training before people feel confident building and running their own analyses. "Smooth, Thoughtful UI That Makes Data Analysis Easy"
5/5
What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?

The UI in very smooth and well thought out which makes it very easy when trying to analyze data or figure out the answer when questions arise. The data itself seems to be spot once we got the integration completed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?

The AI chatbot can be a bit wonky when it comes to trying to visualize my data. There's certain views and charts a prefer for certain metrics and for some reason it doesnt like when I try to format them in that way. Even gave me a bit of attitude once or twice. "Valuable Insights with Integration Challenges"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?

I connect Claude to the MCP, which helps by asking me what I want out of it. It allows me and some team members to access user data with lower barriers by accessing product analytics outside the platform, in Claude or in Slack. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?

Without Claude, it's very hard for me to understand the right ways of using the product. I'm sure there is a lack of skill from my end too, but I wish it was easier to understand and set up good analytics. It's very cumbersome and difficult. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Amanda Brush of Amplitude

Hi Tom,

Thanks so much for taking the time to leave this review. It’s great to hear Amplitude is helping you track customer engagement and account traction, and that AI chat is making the product easier to explore and use across Slack. We also hear your feedback on the learning curve. That kind of input helps us as we keep improving both performance and the guidance that helps teams get value faster.

"Easy, Flexible Insights into User Behavior with Amplitude Analytics"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?

I like Amplitude Analytics most for how easy it makes understanding user behavior without needing deep technical skills. The event-based tracking is really flexible, and the visual dashboards help me quickly see what’s working and where users drop off. It’s especially useful for making data-driven decisions fast, without relying heavily on engineering teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?

If I’m being honest, what I dislike most is that it can get pretty complex and overwhelming at times, especially when setting up events and trying to keep tracking consistent across a product. The pricing can also be a bit high as you scale, and some of the more advanced features have a learning curve that isn’t always intuitive at first. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Empowered Product Insights with Robust AI Features"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?

I really like how Amplitude Analytics consistently improves its platform over time. I've been using it since they were still a startup, and over the past six years, I've seen a very drastic change in its performance and features. One feature I particularly appreciate is the PTO agent of AI, which is extremely helpful for users to perform self-service tasks without the need for an analyst. It also assists me in brainstorming root cause findings, speeding up investigations significantly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?

Nothing come to my mind now. So far all good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Empowers Teams with Intuitive UI and Real-Time Insights"
4/5
What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?

I like Amplitude Analytics for its easy UI, which empowers stakeholders to self-serve data. It has robust funnel reporting capabilities and allows for easy data management as an admin. I appreciate the 'No SQL self-serve' feature that means once event tracking is set up, there's no need to depend on technical team members for analyses. The real-time visibility is great; events come in live, and teams can troubleshoot issues quickly for fast decision-making. Additionally, the intuitive UI makes it easy to drill down data, and the charts function as expected. The initial setup was also easy for me, particularly because I had previous experience with the tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?

If events aren't implemented correctly with a proper schema, this can complicate Amplitude Analytics as a reporting tool so the admin needs to be on top of managing the flow/ingestion of data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Quick setup, Useful analytics"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?

I like that you can assemble the board yourself. I like that, in principle, all the needs I had related to analytics (views and clicks) were met by Amplitude Analytics. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?

When I was creating one of the charts, I encountered a situation where, upon switching to another tab and returning to the previous one, my data was not saved. I mean the filter data, and it felt like they should have been saved. I had to redo everything, and it turned out that I was constantly creating a new chart, whereas I should have been returning to the section and adding changes to the existing chart. This confused me a bit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
