## Amplitude Analytics Reviews
 ### 1. Detailed analysis, many functions, and easy to use

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Santiago V. | Product Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I like how detailed we can be with the analyses, the wide variety of features it offers, and how easy it is to use. In general, it allows for in-depth exploration without complications and quickly finding what I need.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

UX is not always the most beautiful or the clearest. A better design of the graphics and dashboards would be a great plus, especially so that the information is understood more quickly and the navigation becomes more intuitive.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me understand how users interact with my product, track the adoption of the features I launch, measure stickiness, and analyze funnels to see where users are dropping off, so I can work on improvements that allow me to increase conversion. It has also helped me conduct A/B testing and guide both product and business decisions. In summary, it is the data source that supports and guides my work as a PM.

 ### 2. Complex interface and limited analytics

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nika R. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I can create basic funnels in Amplitude Analytics.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I can create basic funnels, but it's not enough for complex analytics. For example, I have to create complex retention charts in Tableau rather than in Amplitude Analytics (where retention is not on the 7th day of product use, but over a 7-day period). There are a large number of events, and as a product manager, I lack information about them. It would be easier if an agent could be launched at the application level to track all events and their properties according to a single feature. The AI Assistant often resets in the prompt, which hinders editing and refining the data. Creating custom funnels is difficult; I need an agent that would automate event collection. It's hard to understand the setup, you need to understand the event bindings in the product, and the interface is not the most user-friendly compared to Yandex Metrica.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can create basic funnels in Amplitude Analytics, but for complex analytics, I have to use other tools. An agent is needed to automate event collection to simplify the work, instead of manually entering and setting up current events.

**Official Response from Amanda Brush:**

> Hi Nika, Thank you for taking the time to share this candid feedback. We’re glad Amplitude is helping with core funnel analysis. We’re sorry for the challenges you faced with your more advanced use cases. For some of the retention work you described, Amplitude does support Return On or After, Return On, and Return On (Custom) retention, plus both 24-hour and calendar-based time settings. Tools like Autocapture, Visual Labeling, tracking plans, and Data Assistant can help simplify event collection and governance. Try checking out Amplitude Academy. Thanks again for your thoughtful feedback!

 ### 3. Flexible and Insightful

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David W. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

We use Amplitude Analytics to monitor and analyze how customers interact with our products. I appreciate how Amplitude provides visibility and helps to see users aggregated, telling us real stories about our products that we can't get anywhere else. It's very flexible and allows you to do a great deal with your data. It's also great for finding issues with the product; for instance, if we have a simple funnel with a huge drop-off, we know there's probably an issue.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

As an analyst, it can be quite tough to align with the engineers who implement Amplitude, so I wish there was more configurability in the app. Also inheriting a large event schema is a bit daunting, and it can be tough to make changes at scale. For unexpected properties, it would be nice to be able to download a breakdown of these, so we can better deal with them.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics for monitoring and analyzing customer interactions, which helps with visibility and understanding user behavior. It's flexible with data and identifies issues through analytics, such as pinpointing where users drop off in a funnel.

 ### 4. Intuitive Analytics with Room for Clarity

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Darren G. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I like how Amplitude Analytics helps fill a gap that I think Google Analytics used to cover in an older version. It feels simple to use and is more intuitive compared to some other tools I've used. I appreciate the fact that it has user ability and testing features. I've actually really enjoyed using the tool over the last couple of months, as it's really good. The AI features are good too.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I think some things are not as clear in their intuitiveness of how to use them. Things like setting up tests and some stuff could be clearer and could provide more guidance along the way. We didn't have a step through for the initial setup, so we had to go back and forth a few times with the account manager to get help which slows things down, and sometimes the replies need clarifying, to get to the actual steps. this could be improved.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics to see what users are doing on the site. It fills a gap that Google Analytics had, making insights simpler and more intuitive. Testing capabilities are nice but could be clearer with more guidance.

 ### 5. Powerful Insights with AI-Driven Analysis, But Overwhelming for Newcomers

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Annaelle S. | Revenue Operations Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I love the UX of Amplitude Analytics, even if it can take a bit of time to understand everything. I love how detailed the features are: you can use Amplitude in a very simple way, but you can also go deeper if you want a very strong analysis. What I like the most is the ability to ask the AI and directly investigate hypotheses on Amplitude, which makes data analysis more efficient and fast.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I think the amount of features can be hard to apprehend for a newcomer. It takes time to get used to how it works and the different modes to analyze all data. I think it's also very reactive and delivers a lot of features, but sometimes it can clog the UX and make it overwhelming for someone.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude Analytics is our source of truth for user behavior, assisting in troubleshooting and data collection, which we can easily segment and send downstream.

 ### 6. Intuitive, Powerful Analytics That Drive Product Decisions

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I use Amplitude Analytics on a daily basis and what impresses me most is how effectively it links user behavior to real product decisions. First, the platform is both intuitive and powerful, allowing me to track user actions and analyze behavior easily, all without needing to write any code. I find its capabilities for funnels, retention, and path analysis particularly strong—these are areas I often struggle to analyze in other tools like Looker. We also make extensive use of the cohorts feature, which is great because Amplitude lets us build dynamic cohorts based on actual user behavior. I can then apply these cohorts across analyses, experiments, and activations. The user experience is very friendly, and I find it straightforward to learn how to use the various features without spending a lot of time on documentation. Still, it's helpful that the documentation is thorough and clear, so whenever I can't figure something out intuitively, I can easily find the answers I need. Setting up experimentation is also simple in Amplitude; we use it for all our AB tests, and implementation doesn't require deep technical expertise.
In terms of customer support it works quite well. At least with the enterprise plan there's customer support available and they are usually quick to answer questions and solve issues.
Integration with other tools is possible and easy to configure.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

While I find this tool powerful and intuitive as a data analyst, I think it may not be as straightforward for product managers or others whose roles are less focused on analytics. Some of the more advanced features, like funnels, cohorts, and formulas, can initially feel overwhelming. It's crucial to have a well-thought-out event planning process. I've noticed that if the event taxonomy isn't carefully designed from the beginning, analyses can quickly become confusing or even misleading, and making corrections later is quite challenging. The same goes for naming conventions—managing a large number of events can get complicated without consistency. Although this hasn't been an issue for us yet, I've heard that costs can rise rapidly as event volume and user numbers increase, which could be a concern for startups or teams dealing with a lot of noisy events. While the tool allows to accomplish a lot without SQL, performing truly custom or edge-case analyses can feel limited compared to using a data warehouse with a BI tool. Additionally, working with large datasets or complex charts can sometimes result in slow load times.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude Analytics enables me to truly understand how users interact with our product. Instead of relying on guesswork, I now have access to clear, event-based insights that reveal exactly what users are doing throughout our platform. This clarity helps our teams pinpoint the factors that drive activation, engagement, and retention, moving us away from assumptions and toward data-driven decisions.

By examining funnels, user paths, and retention metrics, Amplitude makes it straightforward to identify where users are dropping off and which behaviors are linked to long-term success. For example, after launching a new acquisition funnel, we used Amplitude daily to track its performance and to analyze where and why users were most likely to leave the process.

Another advantage is that everyone in the company can access the tool and independently gather insights, without needing to know SQL or rely heavily on the data team. This self-serve capability empowers all team members to make informed decisions.

Amplitude has also simplified the implementation and management of A/B tests and experiments. Previously, it was challenging to run and centralize multiple tests, especially given our limited traffic. Now, with features like mutually exclusive groups and holdout groups, Amplitude offers promising solutions to these limitations, although we have not yet fully tested these capabilities.

Overall, Amplitude benefits me by delivering faster answers to product questions, eliminating the need to wait for custom reports. It fosters clear alignment across product, growth, and engineering teams by providing a shared, reliable source of product and digital data. This enables us to make decisions based on measurable improvements in activation, retention, and feature adoption.

 ### 7. Useful AI and in-app surveys, but support responsiveness needs improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

Being able to review customer interactions with our platform and where they are being directed - the guides and surveys have been most useful for us within our system. Adding these as a layer over our existing UI means less development time when launching new products or features. We haven't integrate Amplitude with anything else yet, though would like to explore this. Some of the features perform well, though we have had some issues with surveys not performing as expected and we have since made changes to how we present these.

The AI in the platform is actually very useful and I have used it extensively.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Support needs to be more responsive however, I can attest that the AI chat bot is very useful for solving basic issues or exploring the documentation to find an answer.

Support has not been helpful. My ticket was closed without a response adn cited as "There was no activity for 7 days" however, there was no need for me to respond as the team had advised they were "looking into" my request. Additionally, I've sent multiple enquiries about adding additional functions to our plan (the AI Chatbot) but have not received ANY contact about this yet.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ability to view our Customers experience and interactions. Surveys for User feedbacks. Resource Centre for surfacing training and documentation. Guides for new features/products.

**Official Response from Amanda Brush:**

> Thank you for sharing this thoughtful feedback. We’re glad Amplitude is helping you understand customer journeys and launch guides and surveys faster. It’s great to hear the AI tools have been useful in your day-to-day work! We’re sorry the support experience felt slow and frustrating, especially around the closed ticket and unanswered plan questions. If helpful, Preview mode, Testing status, and the Amplitude Event Explorer Chrome extension can make it easier to troubleshoot survey setup and delivery issues. Thanks again for taking the time to leave a review. We really value customer feedback because it helps us improve.

 ### 8. Easy analysis, AI-enhanced Amplitude Analytics

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** 유석 . | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I really like the easy analysis methods of Amplitude Analytics. The fact that you can create charts quickly with just a few clicks is a big advantage. Especially with the recently added AI features, it's really convenient to create and analyze charts simply through a few questions and conversations. In our company, sales and customer service representatives found analysis challenging, but since using Amplitude, they say analysis has become easier. They feel particularly satisfied with the ability to easily create charts through conversations with AI.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Our company has a wide variety of behavioral events registered in Amplitude. Due to the large number of behavioral events, AI sometimes gets confused. For example, it may recognize 'clicking the purchase button' as 'purchase completed'. Recently, there have been many additional features. While it's good that things are becoming more advanced, I hope sufficient educational materials are provided to use them well. It wasn't entirely easy. There are quite a few aspects that developers need to understand and users need to grasp initially.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Analyze key customer behaviors to identify bottlenecks with a funnel chart. It's useful because you can easily create charts with just a few clicks, and AI features have made analysis easier.

 ### 9. Easy to Use, Enhanced Capabilities, Highly Recommended, but might be little slow

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fırat E. | Product Manager - Growth & CRM, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I think Amplitude Analytics is very easy to use. Compared to other similar tools I've used before, like Mixpanel, Amplitude is particularly user-friendly. I really like the segmentation and funnel features, especially the ability to create segmentation files and use specific filters without having to create cohorts manually. The sessions part is also very helpful for analyzing user sessions, like seeing the session length and applying filters to specific events.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Amplitude Analytics is a bit slow, which might be a natural problem for this type of tool. Also, in the funnel section, the 'exclude users who did' feature doesn't seem to work properly for us, although this might be unique to our case. Also, it would be useful to have a feature that allows defining different conversion windows for different events in a funnel, such as having different conversion windows between the first and second, and the second and third events. Lastly, the data table section or data analytics part could use some improvement.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics to easily analyze our onboarding funnels and product insights, helping us see user drop-offs, define cohorts for targeted ads, and assess feature performance, which is crucial for us. We are able to improve I2T,T2S, Retention kind of crucial business metrics by Amplitude. We are also creating cohorts to see the best performers which enables us to use this knowledge for targeting on ads.

 ### 10. User-Friendly Analytics with Great SDK Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vitalii A. | Senior iOS Software Engineer

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I love that the SDK supports all Apple platforms, including VisionOS, which is crucial for my Ping Pong game on Apple Vision Pro. Amplitude Analytics allows me to track all types of metrics, from user engagement to system health, which is invaluable. I appreciate the user-friendly UX that works very fast, and the huge event limits enabling me to track every user interaction, even multiple millions of events a month. The setup was extremely easy, and the API provided by the library is great.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I really wish they have a convenient way to compare metrics for the last 2 releases to better understand the impact of the latest release.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude Analytics allows me to track all types of metrics from user engagement to system health with support for Apple platforms, including VisionOS.

 ### 11. Easy Custom Dashboards with Flexible Event Tracking in Amplitude Analytics

**Reviewed by:** Mukesh A. | Product manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

What I like most about Amplitude Analytics is we can crreate custom Dashbaords combining multiple events, and it's easy to add multiple grpahs and data in one particular dashboard

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

There's nothing that dislike , it's great analytical tool we just need to map events properly

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At Way,com I lead 'Auto Repair' business vertical, I am using Amplitude Anlaytics to track consumer behavior, where my most of the customers are dropping and with the insights that I get from Amplitude I make necessary enhancements.

 ### 12. Effortless Data Tracking, Intuitive UI

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aditya M. | Business Intelligence Eng II, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I like using Amplitude Analytics for tracking event-based data because it's easy to use and anyone can easily check the data. I appreciate the ease of use and simplicity of the tool, and it's easy to track data and see the cohort analysis easily. The UI makes customer interactions over the web clear, and the initial setup was quite easy and convenient.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I find that complex analysis can't be done, like checking the number of failed events before a successful event. Also, I would like improvements in comparing events over time to get insights.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude Analytics helps me track event-based data easily with its intuitive self-serve platform. I like its simplicity, and the tool makes data tracking and cohort analysis straightforward, improving UI interaction insights. Setting it up was quite convenient.

 ### 13. Solid Product Analytics Software with Extensive Knowledge Base Despite Some Feature Gaps

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aliya D. | Product Owner, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

Flexibility: I have been able to create events and dashboards to cover the majority of my product analytics needs. Interface: quite intuitive. Knowledge base: Advanced analytics requires some research but the knowledge base is quite extensive.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Amplitude's session replays stopped working for some of my apps, and the investigation of the root cause is still ongoing. Amplitude support provided some generic recommendations but it looks like they haven't been very helpful so far.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude is the main product analytics software I use as a Product Owner. It has provided me with some critical information about the product usage and the customer behavior over the last few years. In particular, it helped prioritize some feature development for the rewrite project and feature enhancements, as well as understand who our customers are and what their workflow in the product looks like. My overall experience has been quite positive even though I have not been able to take advantage of some Amplitude features (session replays) due to them not working properly with some of my products.

 ### 14. Effortless Onboarding and Powerful Analytics Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luiz A. | Product Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I really appreciate how you can start using it in a straightforward way, and as you continue, it gradually reveals more features to help deepen your analysis. I also value that you can create and share dashboard views, updating attributes or events without losing the history of changes. This makes it easy for me to share specific views with my team.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

There is a noticeable delay before we can start accessing newly created tracking events. Most of the time, we have no clear indication of when these new events will become available, which makes it difficult to predict when we can move forward with actions like releasing a product.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This tool provides me with the flexibility to run data analysis on my own, even without extensive technical expertise. Once the tracking events have been set up, I no longer need to rely on the engineering team to carry out my analyses.

 ### 15. Intuitive Analytics and Helpful AI Driven Tools

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

Amplitude is easy to use and feels much more intuitive than other analytics software I’ve worked with, like Adobe Analytics. Over the last few months, the global AI agent has improved a lot, and it’s especially helpful for generating charts for more complex analyses. It also saves me from the frustration of endlessly scrolling just to find the right fields.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I dislike how “spaces” are set up in Amplitude. I wish there were a way to see all the dashboards I’ve authored in one place, even if they aren’t in “my space” (for example, if I moved them to a more public folder).

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I work on a web analytics team, and Amplitude allows us to see web data from all users, regardless of whether they have consented to cookies. The interface is easy to use, and it serves as a valuable single source of truth for reporting.

 ### 16. Ampltiude Enables Our Product to Fulfill Its Core Purpose for Customers

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tamil S. | Data Analytical Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

What I like best about Amplitude Analytics is its perfect combination of ease of use, speed, and flexibility. The platform is very easy to implement and integrates smoothly with our existing data stack, which made adoption seamless across teams. Its intuitive interface allows us to build reports and dashboards in minutes without the need for complex data cleanup or formulas, so we can spend all our time on meaningful analysis. I also appreciate the wide range of customization options for charts and visualizations, which helps us define metrics the way we need them. Collaboration is another highlight, as dashboards and insights can be easily shared across the organization, keeping everyone aligned on the same source of truth. The platform’s ability to query massive datasets in seconds makes it possible to track performance and take quick action when needed. On top of that, the customer support team has been responsive and helpful whenever we’ve had questions. We use Amplitude frequently, almost daily and it has become an essential tool for making data-driven product decisions and ensuring our product continues to serve customer needs effectively.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

One challenge with Amplitude Analytics is the limitation on creating visualizations for only up to one year at a time. For teams that want to analyze multi-year trends or historical performance at a glance, this can be restrictive. Extending the time range for visualizations would make the platform even more powerful for long-term analysis.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude Analytics is helping us solve the critical challenge of understanding how users interact with our mobile app at every stage of their journey. By tracking in-app events and behaviors, we can identify where users drop off, which features drive engagement, and what actions lead to long-term retention. This visibility allows us to quickly uncover friction points and optimize the app experience.

The biggest benefit is the speed to insights—we no longer spend time cleaning data or writing complex queries just to answer basic questions. Instead, we can instantly analyze funnels, cohorts, and retention patterns to guide product decisions. The ability to segment users and run behavioral analysis helps us design targeted improvements and measure their impact in real time.

Ultimately, Amplitude empowers us to make data-driven decisions faster, improve customer satisfaction, and continuously align our app with user needs, which has a direct impact on engagement and retention.

 ### 17. Bad experience

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

The intuitive interface makes it easy to build funnels and retention charts without SQL knowledge. I especially like how quickly I can segment users and track their behavior across different touchpoints. The self-serve nature saves our team a lot of time."

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

The learning curve for advanced features is steeper than expected — some of our team members struggle with building complex cohorts. Also, pricing can escalate quickly as we scale, and the visualization options feel limited compared to dedicated BI tools.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude helps us understand how users actually interact with our product rather than guessing. We've used it to identify drop-off points in our onboarding funnel, which led to a 15% improvement in activation. It also reduced our dependency on the data team — product managers can now pull their own insights, speeding up decision-making significantly.

 ### 18. Powerful and Intuitive, Need for Increased Support

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alan B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I appreciate the clarity of the information and data provided by Amplitude Analytics. The tool is very powerful if you know how to use it, which is a big plus. I also really like their new AI agent feature, which allows me to complement my analyses with agents capable of better understanding user behavior, especially what the numbers do not easily show.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Accompany to create a taxonomy, to define a plan and identify blind spots could be improved. Understanding our current flow and having an advisor who helps to build our analysis mode and complete plan more precisely would be beneficial.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics to understand our users' behavior, explore the journeys on our site, and identify UX issues. The AI agent complements my analyses by providing insights into user intentions, going beyond the numbers.

**Official Response from Amanda Brush:**

> Hi Alan,
Thanks so much for taking the time to share your feedback. It’s great to hear Amplitude is helping you understand user behavior and you like the additional context the AI provides. We also hear that more guidance around taxonomy and planning would make the experience better - that kind of feedback really helps us improve.

 ### 20. Enhances Funnel Insights, Easy Setup

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Avi N. | Product Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I like how Amplitude Analytics helps me create chats, funnels, and cohorts, which help me identify user behavior on a larger scale. The funnel dashboard is particularly helpful in clearly identifying how many users land on one page versus how many reach the next, showing me the drop-offs and how people are interacting with those pages. It provides a grander detail on the whole user profile, which is really useful for making insightful decisions. Additionally, the initial setup was pretty easy; I just had to fill a form to get access, and then all the data was easily accessible.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I don't think of any, but yeah, if the AI agents don't understand as much as I would want them to. I think since it is early in stage, there would be a lot of improvements in that AI agent area.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude Analytics helps identify user drop-offs and understand user behavior with new features, providing both micro and macro insights. It clearly shows user paths and drop-offs, enabling insightful decisions on user interactions.

 ### 21. Powerful Insights, Needs Better Real-Time Tracking

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ulaş F. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I am using Amplitude Analytics for tracking user interactions and live events in the app. It greatly solves user movement ambiguity in our system, allowing us to track user movements inside the app and make insights. I love that it gives me clear insight on how users visit my websites. It's splendid to be able to customize with our special tracking labels. I can check a user's movement from our database and see how they performed. I can label the users with their database IDs and thus track them more easily. The initial setup was quite easy.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Some customers seem not to be fetched in tracking. When there is too much traffic, some users are not tracked.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using Amplitude Analytics, I can track user interactions and solve user movement ambiguity, providing clear insights on user activities and customization with tracking labels.

 ### 22. Empowers Product Analysis, Needs Better AI Handling

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Karina P. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I like using the tables in Amplitude Analytics to understand the usage by user and company. The AI agents are useful for sending weekly analysis of our dashboard, which helps with sharing reports across the organization so that people don't need to analyze data themselves. I also find the Guides to be a perfect tool that helps users navigate our product and gather feedback effectively.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Probably AI agents...when there is a lot of data the output is a bit off from the prompt. Also, my colleagues said the initial setup was a bit of a challenge, but I don't know the reasons.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics for product analysis and understanding user interactions. It helps track account health and feature usage. The AI Agent shares reports across the organization, while Guides assist user navigation and feedback collection.

 ### 23. Empowers Quick Data Visualization with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Fund-Raising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 18, 2024

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I like the ability to visualize data quickly and build comparisons to custom time periods in Amplitude Analytics. It's great that anyone on the team can build graphs quickly. The support for custom time periods is particularly important for us because our campaigns run over six or seven weeks, so month-on-month comparisons aren't relevant. I also found the initial setup very easy, as our fundraising platform vendor assisted with it.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I want to be able to take a group of people who performed an event today and analyze previous actions. At the moment, Amplitude Analytics can only do that forward looking.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude Analytics helps me know how current campaigns perform versus previous ones and answers new questions quickly. Anyone on the team can build graphs fast, and custom time periods are crucial because our campaigns run over 6 or 7 weeks.

 ### 24. Powerful Analytics with Room for UI Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maxwell M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I like the ability to look into users directly with Amplitude Analytics. I find it really useful to use cohorts to understand what a group of users is doing and how this group differs from the rest. The conversion funnels are also very helpful for getting insights on user behavior.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

It would be more valuable if the user journey tool could be easier to use. The UI sometimes is very limited, and the agent is able to do things that the UI does not allow me. I wish labels for properties would be easier to see.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics to track feature usage, retention, and conversion funnels for quick insights. It helps identify important user journeys and how features impact behavior.

 ### 25. AI-Driven Insights with Room for Customization

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anya Z. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I like the built-in AI feature in Amplitude Analytics because it allows me to get answers faster. It helps me find solutions to questions I have without needing to reach out to support or go on Google Search, providing a very thorough and holistic summary of all my needs. It offers a lot more visibility into tracking and overall performance monitoring, and I also appreciate that it allows us to share data externally with non-users.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Customization options. Would like more features available and overall the ability to customize to my needs.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics for tracking performance and making better business decisions. The built-in AI feature helps me get answers faster without needing support. It offers visibility into tracking, performance monitoring, and allows sharing data externally, making it a great upgrade from Mixpanel.

 ### 26. User Timeline and Segmentation Graphs Make Debugging and Trend Analysis Easy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I specifically like the feature of User timeline, which helps me as an engineer to debug certain production edge cases and help me understand my app flow. Then creating graphs via segmentation is also something really helpful, which helps in understanding general user trends

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I think there are certain small things which can be improved, like sometimes in the timeline, the events are not ordered as per the event trigger time, which creates confusion and added manual work which can be avoided. Then in segmentation, if going into details, it highlights all the events and not only the ones matching the query

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Providing insights into user behaviour and also helping new people understand product flow

 ### 27. Highly Flexible with Complex Setup

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dror P. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I like the ability to connect Amplitude Analytics to different sources, specifically Claude and Claude Code. I'm using Claude to ask questions that can be answered by Amplitude's data. I also connect it to Google Ads and plan to connect more platforms in the future. The initial setup of Amplitude Analytics was very straightforward with Google Tag Manager. Although implementing all the different features may take time, it depends on how complex you want your analytics to be.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Implementation can be a bit complex, needing to add events with code a lot of times.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude Analytics provides a single source of truth, helps with user identification throughout the funnel, and supports cohort analysis.

 ### 28. Amplifies App Insights Effortlessly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2021

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I use Amplitude Analytics across all my mobile apps, and I love that it's very easy to implement with a 5 minute setup. It's flexible in setting my own events and parameters, which is great. The user interface on the web to view the data is fantastic, and it's free for me. I get total insight into who is using my apps and their usage patterns, helping me improve the app and make it better. I can create different flows for different users and examine how they are acting within the app.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

The user interface used to be quick and simple, they've added a bunch of features over time which I haven't used but cause the user interface to be more sluggish and slow. I say - just keep it simple and quick.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics for total insight into app usage patterns, user actions, and improvements. It allows flexible event settings and provides an easy-to-implement, user-friendly interface, helping me enhance my apps.

 ### 29. Comprehensive Analytics with Potential Pricing Improvements

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I like the ability to do everything in one place with Amplitude Analytics. The new AI agents are a great addition, and the prompt tracking visibility is impressive. It's amazing how all these features come together. We're able to send all our product data to Amplitude, generate reports, and get information on the run. It's simpler and more intuitive than what we used before, making it easier to use, set up, and get up and running.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I think the pricing and the usage limits are very confusing, and they're kind of built into a single plan. It racks up very quickly, even if you need just to add certain modules. It needs to have more granular pricing and billing management is a bit confusing. The heat maps feature can be improved. I find FullStory much better than that. The initial setup wasn't very seamless. We lost some data, and things like cohort and retention charts were kind of missing.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics for aggregating all product data and for experiments. It simplifies sending out features with feature flags and provides everything in one place with new AI agents and prompt tracking visibility. It simplifies setting up reports and tracking conversions effectively.

 ### 30. Intuitive Analytics with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mariam G. | Product Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I like how easy Amplitude Analytics is to use and that it offers multiple ways to examine user flows, tracking how users move from point A to point B. This feature helps me see the day-to-day progress of our product and provides valuable insights into how we can improve.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Maybe if I was able to track network errors better, also was able to much easily find the user - probably by their email and also have more visually understandable charts/tables. Also I wish the AI chat worked better and was more helpful with our product-specific inquiries.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can track user activities, see challenges, and the points of subscribing or churning. It helps me monitor daily progress and provides insights for improvement.

 ### 31. Effective Data Insights with Setup Learning Curve

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I use Amplitude Analytics to understand data and learn how my customers are interacting with our product. It provides higher signals and helps me understand my hypothesis better. I find it valuable because I can quickly query data and figure out how our customers are using the product. One of the features I love is the Amplitude agent, which is really helpful as I can copy and paste it to share with the team for more context about what's going on.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I think the different filters are really confusing, and it's hard to figure out how to get started. There are a lot of overlapping filters and things. Not that easy. It's still very confusing to me.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics to understand data and usage patterns, helping me learn how customers interact with our product. It's valuable for quickly querying data, understanding hypotheses, and improving signals. However, the filters can be confusing, and the initial setup was not easy.

 ### 32. Powerful product analytics tool that I have used

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

honestly amplitude is pretty good like i was skeptical at first but once you get hang of it its actually really useful. the funnel thing is my fav u can see exactly where people drop off without needing to like write any code or ask a dev. retention charts are also nice. only thing is sometime the dashboards feels a bit overwhelming when ur starting out but u get used to it. would def recommend for anyone building a app and wants to actually understand there users

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

The pricing escalates quite steeply beyond the free tier, which makes it difficult for small teams to scale. The interface can feel overwhelming initially given the volume of options. Also, if your event taxonomy isn’t set up correctly from the start, it’s hard to course correct later.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude removes the need to rely on engineers for data queries. I can answer product questions myself without writing SQL. It centralizes user behavior tracking, so understanding retention, drop-offs, and feature adoption is much faster. This directly helped in making quicker, more confident product decisions without waiting on data teams.

 ### 33. Phenomenal Support and Powerful Insights

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Soham A. | Data Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

Amplitude has so many knobs and whistles. It's built from the ground up to help you answer questions that you didn't even know you could answer. This and their continuous support is phenomenal

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

The learning curve is high. Shifting from adobe, the UI takes time to get used to.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude helps us understand user behavior and trends for our various marketing campaigns. The asks are numerous and diverse and amplitude helps solve a lot of them.

 ### 34. Effective for User Segmentation, Needs Funnel Flexibility

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan D. | Product Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I primarily use Amplitude Analytics for understanding user journeys, funnel visualization, and segmentation. I like the ability to create rule-based user segments that are dynamically populated. Faster and fresher user segmentation helps with understanding our users. The main use case is creating dashboards that are easily sharable, instead of pulling the data down myself and sending around an image.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

One particular feature I don't enjoy within the funnel creation is that groups apply to every step of the funnel, not just the step it is grouped from and the subsequent ones.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics for understanding user journeys, funnel visualization, and segmentation. It helps create dashboards that are easily sharable. I like that it allows me to create rule-based user segments that are dynamically populated for faster and fresher user insights.

**Official Response from Amanda Brush:**

> Hi Ryan,
It’s great to hear that dynamic, rule-based segmentation and shareable dashboards help you understand user journeys and keep insights fresh. We hear your feedback on funnels where groups appear to apply to every step—one quick tip: use step-level filters on the specific event step (instead of a global chart filter or Group By) when you want a property to affect only that step and onward. If you’d like to walk through your exact setup, our support team is ready to help at https://support.amplitude.com/.

 ### 35. Versatile Analytics with Seamless Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bill J. | Performance Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

I like the fact that Amplitude Analytics is versatile. It's not just product analytics; it's also giving us data about sessions and how users signed up. So, it's actually very helpful.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

None, it's perfect. I love everything about amplitude.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics to understand user behavior on our product, track activation and retention metrics, and identify issues. Its versatility offers session data and insights on sign-ups, which really helps us.

 ### 36. Easy-to-use analytics platform for end-to-end growth experimentation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Krislyn C. | Head of Growth, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2022

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

Amplitude has been a reliable source of truth for the growth marketing function as we optimize on first-touch / last-touch hybrid attribution. Every department has access to the analytics and can create their own reporting easily. We're also able to run PLG experiments easily and monitor metrics. It's really easy to get started and use. Every major department uses Amplitude, including engineers and creative strategists!

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I currently ingest some topline metrics from ad platforms, but building a chart that reconciles both ad platform & our data is limited/difficult.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm making performance optimizations across my paid channels using Amplitude data. I'm creating customer data lists & piping it into ad platforms to create high quality seed lists. I'm syncing audience cohorts for email campaigns. I'm analyzing user behavior in-product to design and analyze PLG experiments.

 ### 37. Powerful Analytics with Helpful Dashboards

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dan R. | Head of Customer Success, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I love that Amplitude Analytics is a super powerful tool that picks up a huge amount of data and constructs it into easy-to-understand dashboards. I appreciate being able to look at what features specific customers are using or not using, and get a general picture as a whole of how our tool is being used.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Amplitude Analytics is fairly dense and we needed developer assistance to get started. We also had some struggles with attributing account-based analytics vs user-based analytics. Additionally, we were lacking some components that we had with June, in particular the Customer Success elements and Health Scoring

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude Analytics solves the problem of not knowing how our product is used by customers and what features are most adopted. It provides powerful data analytics in easy-to-understand dashboards, allowing us to see which features specific customers use and gain a general overview of tool usage.

 ### 38. Visualize and Understand Customer Flow with Ease

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paloma C. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I like that I can create charts and dashboards to track various A/B tests or initiatives we conduct in Amplitude Analytics on a daily basis. I also value the support of AI, as it guides me or creates the chart for me when I have doubts about how to make a chart or don't understand something. Additionally, it allows me to understand the flow and conversion of my customers by creating charts that help me visually comprehend my customers' funnels.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I find it difficult to fully understand some tools like paths. I also have trouble understanding what I'm seeing and what the texts in the boxes mean, perhaps due to the names we give them.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude Analytics allows me to visually understand my customers' funnels through graphs, facilitating the analysis of flow and conversion.

 ### 39. Powerful Analytics and Deep Insights with Amplitude

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Oliver S. | User Researcher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

Amplitude stands out for its depth and the strength of its interlinking features. I can track usage not only by volume but also by time spent, and then connect this data to specific events, which helps me gain a broader understanding of user behavior.

Another aspect I appreciate is the ability to create both static and dynamic cohorts, allowing me to tailor my investigations based on what I want to explore.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Amplitude presents a somewhat steeper learning curve compared to other platforms I have used, mainly because of its extensive range of features. It takes a bit more time to become familiar with everything it offers.

Additionally, I find the customization options for both charts and dashboards to be limited. In my experience with Looker, I was able to create dashboards with greater flexibility and freedom, such as adding pre-defined filters. When it comes to charting and visual customization, Looker also provides a wider variety of options.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude is providing us with deeper insights into not only which sections of our website and app our users are engaging with most, but also how they are interacting with them. We can now determine whether specific user groups are following certain patterns, such as spending more time in particular areas on certain days of the week, which is important since our user base tends to follow routines. This information allows us to identify which products will be most beneficial to specific cohorts and how we can tailor these offerings to their needs. For example, we might introduce more user-friendly beginner features for some groups, or more advanced options for others, depending on their preferences.

 ### 40. Versatile, But Demands Patience

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tom W. | Business Operations Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I like the versatility of Amplitude Analytics and the AI chat feature. The AI chat lowers the barrier to understanding what's possible, making it easier to explore the software's capabilities. I find it great when I can just ask a question in Slack, and it responds for everyone to see.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

It's a bit slow at times, so much data to load and no way to speed it up. It's a lot to understand and learn too, finding it a bit difficult but as with any system. Kind of like Tableau, it's super versatile but takes effort to learn.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude Analytics helps us monitor changes in customer engagement and user traction by account. It provides versatile analytics, but can be slow and requires effort to learn.

**Official Response from Amanda Brush:**

> Hi Tom,
Thanks so much for taking the time to leave this review. It’s great to hear Amplitude is helping you track customer engagement and account traction, and that AI chat is making the product easier to explore and use across Slack. We also hear your feedback on the learning curve. That kind of input helps us as we keep improving both performance and the guidance that helps teams get value faster.

 ### 41. My Go-To Tool for Product Analytics and KPI Excellence

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I like the way events are being tracked, videos on user actions and building effective business tracking KPIs and other conversion funnels. Amplitude has been very helpful in making right business decisions.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I don't dislike but love to see a feature where I can see the events being tracked based on different timezones, because when users are based out of different timezones and tracking them at one place sometimes creates discrepancy in the database records vs amplitude KPIs

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using funnels and coherts, amplitude really helps us in tracking conversions and understand where the users might be getting stuck mostly, that helps us streamline the process as well as allows us to help the customers in an effective way.

 ### 42. Effortless User Understanding and Easy Setup

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I like how easy it is to use Amplitude Analytics, especially when it comes to setting up auto track events. I love that I can set something up as an auto track event and implement it server-side. Really, the ease of use, the quality of the data, and the charts that I can build are great.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I would love it to automatically go through my app or allow me to upload a video of me going through my app and then suggest updates. I think it's a little bit like old school deterministic software, and I think there could be much more of an AI element.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude Analytics allows us to understand our users better. It fills the gap between what customers want and what they actually do, providing insights beyond what our customer success team can offer.

 ### 43. Detailed Insights, Needs AI Improvements

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** América Daniela S.

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I like how detailed Amplitude Analytics is and how I can segment data. It allows me to track the step conversion and full funnel conversion rate of the product I'm in charge of. I appreciate that I can use the AI for a better understanding of what is causing drops in the funnel.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

The AI itself has room for improvement. Sometimes it is inaccurate and it occasionally crashes. Better error handling and an opportunity to choose models would be helpful.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics for funnel analysis, tracking step conversion and full funnel conversion rates. It helps me segment data and use AI to understand what's causing funnel drop-offs.

 ### 44. Easy Visualization with Stellar Flexibility

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Suneet S.

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I appreciate the huge functionality of Amplitude Analytics, like visualizing our events on a daily or monthly basis with the ability to filter by properties and group them. I love that it provides a private workspace and lets me share it with anyone anytime. It's easy to use, and I can create a variety of charts or graphs which makes setting it up a breeze, and the documentation is well done. It's super easy to visualize my event data based on different values and frequencies.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I don't like finding device IDs from Amplitude Analytics. We don't know what our device ID is in Amplitude, so maybe it could use similar ID or name kinds.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude Analytics gives us huge functionality like visualizing event data on a daily or monthly basis. We can filter and group data easily. It also provides a private workspace and easy sharing, and it's really intuitive to set up.

**Reviewed Date:** January 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

Amplitude excels with intuitive dashboards, deep behavioral insights, real-time cohorts, and easy event tracking that drive smarter, data-informed product decisions.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Steep learning curve for advanced features, gets expensive at scale, event schema management can be tricky, and large projects can feel slow to query at times.

It helps us understand user behavior, identify drop-offs, and measure feature impact. This improves retention, guides product decisions, and reduces guesswork with data-driven insights.

 ### 46. Powerful Analytics with Room for UI Improvement

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Larissa M. | Product Management Analyst, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I really like that Amplitude Analytics has great, updated, and easy-to-manage dashboards. These dashboards help me understand where we are and where we need to go. They assist in understanding each feature and event usage, which is useful for predicting or analyzing user problems and solutions.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

The user interface could be enhanced to be more friendly or intuitive. Sometimes buttons aren't intuitive, and we spend a lot of time trying to understand where to go to do something. Also, AI could help debug things. Some words on buttons and journeys are not optimized for usage when creating dashboards or graphs.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics to analyze front-end usage, measure event usage, predict next steps, and understand user problems with updated and easy-to-manage dashboards.

**Official Response from Amanda Brush:**

> Hi Larissa, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. It’s great to hear that you're getting a lot of value from Amplitude’s dashboards. We’re sorry that aspects of the user interface haven’t always felt intuitive. If helpful, Ask Amplitude can help create charts and navigate the platform in natural language, and our Dashboard Agent and Debug Analytics tools can also help surface insights and troubleshoot workflows. Thanks again for your review.

 ### 47. Intuitive Analytics with Impressive Flexibility

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mauricio M.

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I like Amplitude Analytics because it's easy to use yet provides a lot of depth and data flexibility for experts like data teams. For straightforward work, Amplitude offers extensive documentation that guides you through it. The overall UX of the product is very friendly compared to competitors. It's easy to create metrics that matter to the work, making it straightforward to know if the business is reaching its goals. I find the initial setup very straightforward, thanks to the default events and setup that ease the implementation for developers.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Likely a gap in not having data experts in-house, but I find it challenging to know if my implementation of custom events aligns with best practices.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

 ### 48. Valuable Insights, Despite Steep Learning Curve

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hardik J.

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I like running web experiments with Amplitude Analytics because it allows me to do A/B testing quickly on real traffic data and see the impact on key metrics, ensuring decisions are based on outcomes rather than opinions. I also appreciate the ease of creating dashboards and charts; I have a dashboard where I report on key metrics with important filters, letting the audience slice and dice the data as needed. I log in to the dashboard every morning. Additionally, I find the Cohorts feature valuable as it allows me to group users based on the actions they do or don't take and understand the outcomes.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I find the steep learning curve challenging because there are too many options available just to create a simple dashboard. Also, the events taxonomy is difficult to grasp, making it tough to decide what should be classified as events and values. The initial setup of Amplitude Analytics was difficult since it requires an engineer to add code.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics to analyze customer usage, identify gaps in user journeys, and report on key metrics. It helps diagnose changes in conversion or engagement and allows for quick A/B testing based on real traffic data, ensuring decisions are outcome-driven.

 ### 49. Intuitive Platform with Deep Insights

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Séraphin H. | Advisor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I really like that Amplitude Analytics is fairly easy to use, which makes it simple to teach and get others started on it. The layout is intuitive, with events on the left and results on the right, and this constancy over the years has been helpful. I appreciate how easy it is to go deep and do a deep dive into features and user behavior. Plus, it's quite user-friendly overall and didn't take much to set up; just track events and users, and you're ready to go. Many features just work, which is why I give it a ten out of ten.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I would say there's a lot of features that go unused. Because it's a lot of adoption or I need to update our implementation. For example, session replay and heat maps aren't used because we're using another tool, and it would be great to combine tools, but that's something I need to put effort into. Another thing is the guides and surveys feature, which seems amazing, but the pricing is way too high.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude Analytics solves the problem of understanding user behavior in my product and helps me dive deep into feature usage. It's easy to use yet powerful, allowing our entire company to adopt it quickly.

 ### 50. Empowers Data-Driven Decisions with Ease

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I love that I can capture data, and it's super simple. The new AI tools that create charts for me make it significantly faster, and it also allows more of my team to make charts and gather data themselves without needing assistance.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I think it's probably more on our team side, but sometimes we aren't sure if the data is 100% accurate. And we also can't always tell what events mean because of our lacking descriptions and unclear names. But that's really more of a problem on our end, rather than Amplitude.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics to understand user events, identify powerful moments and trigger targeted emails. It helps to see what's working and what causes churn, aiding in user retention.
