"Easy, Intuitive Chart Creation with Great-Looking Results"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?

Creating a chart is very easy and intuitive. The charts also look good and are easy to update. The browser extension is also very helpful and has a good UI Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?

While it is easy to create basic charts from simple calculations and queries, I have not found a clear way to handle more complex calculations for chart creation in Amplitude. This may be a gap in my understanding, but at the moment, the workflow does not feel very intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Insights, Slightly Overwhelming UI"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?

I use Amplitude Analytics primarily to understand my app's behavior and user interactions. I love how it helps me track app failures and gives me a clear chart of events per user with exact data points. The chart and report features are incredibly helpful in deriving decisions—they're just a wow. I appreciate the wide variety of features it provides, making life easier by getting me the data I need. Its ability to show the user journey clearly with proper event validations makes it pretty easy to understand user behavior and quickly see what's useful and what's not. The live events feature is fantastic because it allows me to see the user interactions with my app in real time, helping me know instantly if something is working or broken. The initial setup was pretty simple and straightforward, which I appreciated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?

Sometimes it's hard for me to derive on decisions based on complex reports or data. The chart features help a lot in tracking user events, but sometimes it feels overwhelming with too many options, making it difficult to quickly find what matters to me. And I also felt like we would have made the UI a little simpler, as of now the UI feels a little complex for complicated actions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Amplitude Analytics Replaced Multiple Tools for Us Made Tracking Simple"
5/5
What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?

As a software engineer the things I like most about Amplitude Analytics are the simplicity of the UI, being able to quickly gather information about how the users are using the product, what are the most common drop offs, what is converting users well, but also additional information about the user and the user's device can give great insight. Another thing that is very helpful is integrations with other tools which enable us to only log Amplitude events, and have them on other platforms as well such as Braze. Also it supports alerting when anomalies are detected which we've found very useful. Last but not least, feature flags and experiments setup is very intuitive and allows a lot of flexibility in segmenting users and adding variants with payloads. Amplitude has replaced the need for multiple tools to accomplish these things. It's SDK has improved our ways of working with event logging. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?

Nothing major, some UI quirks such as those when filtering values the dropdown can be hard to interact with it sometimes closes when you don't want it to and similar Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Analytics with Custom Funnels and Charts"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?

I use Amplitude Analytics with Google Analytics. Amplitude Analytics is very powerful; you can see everything you want, make your own funnel, and make any chart you can think of. It has a lot of features that I love, so yes, this is the best thing about Amplitude Analytics. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?

Amplitude analytics has one main challenge for me: it isn’t always clear what to do next. That said, there are plenty of materials and videos available, and you can also ask any AI for guidance when you get stuck. Overall, I feel these features are designed to support you and make the process easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Comprehensive Product Analytics Made Easier with AI Agents"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?

It covers the full scope of product analytics comprehensively, including marketing channel analysis, product engagement, user cohorts, retention, and more. With the AI agent features, it makes my day-to-day work a lot easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?

The learning curve feels too steep for beginners and occasional users. With the massive number of events and properties we track, it’s almost impossible for those users to jump in and create their own analysis, even with the AI chart creation feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A well-structured analytics platform"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?

Events are easy to configure and ingest in my app, and it’s straightforward to filter them by user or by different properties. I also really like being able to configure feature flags for specific users, or for users who match certain properties. On top of that, the session replay functionality is a big plus and adds a lot of value. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?

The UI definitely takes some time to get used to. The screen feels packed with buttons and menus, and it takes a while to learn where everything is. The integration with your app can also be a bit complex, especially if you’re not very tech-savvy, so the initial setup and getting everything connected may take some extra patience. "Streamlined User Insights with Minor Export Hiccups"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?

I think one of my favorite things about Amplitude Analytics is the AI robot. It really simplifies work a lot for me by helping make charts and triggering enough time. I also really like how friendly it can be. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?

I think it would be very helpful when exporting a dashboard if it was more efficient. Sometimes when you download it as a PDF, the dimensions cut off, and that's not always working well. Another challenge is the standardization of events and properties because of misalignments between event planning and usage. Some events have different nomenclatures like snake case or Pascal case, making it complicated to understand. It would be more efficient to create more properties for events. "Great at Capturing Data, but Hard to Analyze"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?

It was easy to set up in my codebase. The session replays are useful for understanding user behavior, and they’re also easy to share across teams. Large selection of integrations that are easy to set up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?

Sometimes even quick questions—like when a user last completed a particular event—end up requiring you to build a chart to find the answer. That makes it harder for people who are less experienced with the platform to self-serve and get simple information quickly. On top of that, the number of add-ons can be confusing, and it isn’t always clear what we actually have access to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Empowered Data Analysis with AI & Extensions"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?

I really like the new AI assistant in Amplitude Analytics because it makes it much easier and quicker to build charts and funnels. The browser extension is amazing too. I love how easy it is to identify event names and triggers, allowing me to build charts based on them. It makes deep diving into data super quick, which I appreciate as a non-data person. The AI assistant is particularly effective because it takes a lot of the 'thinking' and architecture out of my hands, letting me focus on analyzing the results instead of just building charts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?

Maybe this exists already, and I don't know if, but I would love a functionality where I click through a user flow on our website or inside the platform, and then Amplitude records that and automatically creates a chart for this funnel. It would also be helpful for me to have a curated library - e.g., an admin can set some standard/default charts that anyone in marketing should have access to, and we all take that as a source of truth. Currently, we build many different charts as everyone is working in silos. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
