"Easy-to-Use Retargeting with Clear Reporting and Exceptional Account Support"
4/5
What do you like best about AdRoll?

We’ve had a really positive experience with AdRoll. The platform is easy to use, simple to manage, and has made running retargeting campaigns much more straightforward for us. The reporting is clear, and it’s been a great way to stay visible to customers after they’ve visited our website. What has really stood out, though, is the level of account management. Our account manager, Anna, has been incredibly helpful, responsive, and proactive throughout, always on hand with support and advice when needed. Overall, it’s been a great platform to work with, made even better by the strong support behind it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AdRoll?

We run Magento and Adroll is mostly geared for Shopify, so we've had to do some custom coding i.e. added pixels to make it work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Review For AdRoll"
4.5/5
What do you like best about AdRoll?

What I like best about AdRoll is its easy-to-use interface and strong retargeting capabilities. It helps manage campaigns across multiple channels in one place, with clear analytics and useful automation features that save time and improve performance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AdRoll?

One downside of AdRoll is that pricing can be a bit high for smaller businesses, and the reporting/customization options can feel limited compared to more advanced tools. It can also take some time to fully optimize campaigns for the best results. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Beginner-Friendly Retargeting Ad Platform"
4.5/5
What do you like best about AdRoll?

As a beginner, I found it easy to use. It didn't confuse me with complex UI and too many options. I could configure the necessary settings myself after watching a few videos on YouTube. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AdRoll?

Once you start getting pro with AdRoll, you may experience, as it doesn't have lots of options, you can't optimize your retargeting campaign with it as Meta and other platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Ad Management with AdRoll"
4.5/5
What do you like best about AdRoll?

I love how AdRoll offers the ability to just have a platform that takes care of all my web ads. It's easy to upload images and videos, and setting up an audience is straightforward. I appreciate the ease of use and how straightforward the setup is, especially with the pixel incorporation being pretty easy with all major ecommerce platforms. It's saved me time, which equates to saved money. AdRoll makes a tedious, sometimes technical task super easy to do. The initial setup was super easy as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AdRoll?

Can easily become expensive if you are not careful with set budgets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Julia Engberts of AdRoll

Hi Frederico,

We absolutely love hearing that AdRoll makes a tedious, technical task super easy for you, and that our e-commerce pixel incorporation saves you both time and money.

We also appreciate your candid note about budgets. Because programmatic ads serve continuously to find your audience, spend can definitely move quickly! To help keep everything perfectly aligned with your goals, we recommend utilizing our built-in campaign budget caps and pacing alerts.

If you ever want to review your budget guardrails to ensure you're getting the most efficient spend possible, our support team is always happy to take a look with you.

Thank you for choosing AdRoll for your campaign goals!

"AdRoll’s Turnkey Campaign Management Frees Us to Focus on Strategy"
5/5
What do you like best about AdRoll?

What I like best about AdRoll is the ability to leverage them as a true turnkey solution. Their team handles campaign setup and much of the ongoing management, which significantly reduces the operational burden on our side. Instead of spending time building campaigns from scratch or troubleshooting setup issues, we can stay focused on strategy, performance analysis, and higher-impact optimizations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AdRoll?

The only downside, and it’s relatively minor, is that with a turnkey model you don’t always have access to the same level of granular controls that you might find in a fully self-service DSP. There are occasional parameters or niche optimizations that aren’t available, but in practice these are few and far between and don’t materially limit performance. "Easy to Use with Strong Targeting for Brand Awareness"
4/5
What do you like best about AdRoll?

Easy to use, good targeting options as a new brand awareness channel. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AdRoll?

Reporting isn’t always as robust or flexible as more advanced platforms. It works best as part of a broader paid media mix rather than a standalone growth engine.

One limitation worth noting is AdRoll’s inventory. While it provides access to a broad network of display placements, the quality and scale don’t always match what you get directly through platforms like Google or Meta. This can lead to less control over where ads appear and, in some cases, weaker performance at scale.

It’s most effective for retargeting use cases, but if you’re looking for premium placements, advanced optimization, or large-scale prospecting, the inventory can feel somewhat constrained. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Exceptional Ad Visibility with User-Friendly Interface"
5/5
What do you like best about AdRoll?

I like AdRoll for its HTML ads and easy-to-use interface. We receive support from the AdRoll team in developing HTML assets, which is a big help. The user interface is very friendly, allowing anyone from our team to set up campaigns effortlessly. The initial setup of AdRoll was very easy, and it offers low CPM and frequent ads, which were key reasons for our switch from using a couple of DSPs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AdRoll?

Currently AdRoll is not supporting multi-currency social media ads integration, which is a bit frustrating. Our AdRoll account is in USD, and our Meta ads account is in INR, so we're not able to link our accounts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"All-in-One Multichannel Campaigns, but Delivery and Performance Can Lag"
4/5
What do you like best about AdRoll?

All-in-one multichannel approach: Rather than juggling separate tools for display, social, native, video, or even CTV ads, AdRoll lets you run full-funnel campaigns in one place.

Besides that, they are great at branding campaign with lifetime attributions, you will able to see future conversions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AdRoll?

not so much on acquisition campaign and artificially inflate their perceived performance through generous default attribution windows Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple Interface & Handy Tools"
3.5/5
What do you like best about AdRoll?

Very simple to use interface with some great quality-of-life features like bulk changing campaign destinations, titles, descriptions and so on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AdRoll?

Not necessarily their fault, but it is becoming increasingly difficult to build audiences due to the prevalence of privacy measures in browsers, cookie blockers, and so on.

We know we are missing nearly 50% of the audience proportion we used to get a few years back. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Setup, but Limited Reach"
3/5
What do you like best about AdRoll?

I like that AdRoll deletes the least performing assets on its own, which is super convenient compared to other ad platforms where I have to manually review and switch off assets that aren't delivering. Also, the initial setup of AdRoll was quite easy compared to other tools in the market. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AdRoll?

I find its reach limited for spreading brand awareness compared to Google Display Ads. It would be better if AdRoll increased the number of partner sites and allowed users to target specific types of websites for more relevant ad placement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
