I have been use Marketo now for over fice years and I have seen just how far the tool has come since beginning my working career. It is fasinating just how quickly Adobe adapts and changes with current trends. The layout makes it easy to use and navigate. Their customer support is quick to respond and help out with any issues you may encounter. Also, Marketo being integrated to Salesforce makes working with the two process campaigns and lead acceleration smoothly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have not encountered much negatives with this tool personally. I would say becasue in my company we do not utilize EVERY tool it has to offer so there could be some tools that we do not use that other users have issues with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I've been using Adobe Marketo Engage for several years, and it's features and functionaility never let me down. From a simple automated flow, through to it's analytics and revenue explorer features, it's a great easy to use tool for my company. Its customer support and success team are always on hand to help and advise on best practices when needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some features within Adobe Marketo Engage could have improved functionality, but the platform is constantly being improved, so i look forward to seeing the next releases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the seamless integration with Adobe tools and third-party platforms, making it super convenient and marketing work more consistent. I love the ability to customize campaigns and tailor them to the target audience. I used it now and then for my film marketing and even so, I'm still finding new features to make it more worth while like advanced analytics and multi-channel automation. The investment in time is necessary, but when you get into a groove, the fruits of your labor are worth it. Implementation was pretty find once I got going. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
If you're new to marketing automation (like i was), this could definitely be a daunting tool. Especially the learning curve. Over the course of 7 months I used it about biweekly. It wasn't easy to use at first, especially as a team of one. Customer support can be time consuming so I turned to youtube a lot for help. Also the abundance of features can be overhwhelming. I've been using Marketo for over 7 years, before Adobe purchased them, and I expected there to be more enhancements to the platform when Adobe did takeover, such as AI-powered suggestions and ehanced reporting. I use marketo on a daily basis running email marketing campaigns. I report on campaign and audience performance regularly, and I wish there were some things I could report on in Marketo that simply aren't available. Marketo needs to have better integrations with the major CRM's to better track revenue without having to navigate to outside sources and learn more systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Inability to trigger email journeys based off of product-usage for my B2B SaaS org. Some competitors can do this, but they're systems are so much worse. We even have an open API and Marketo still can't trigger off of desired events. It forces us to have marketing campaigns in 2 different systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

At Goodboy Creative Agency, I used Adobe Marketo Engage for managing client email campaigns and tracking campaign performance. I loved how detailed the analytics were—it helped me make data-driven decisions for our strategies. The automation features also saved me a lot of time when it came to follow-ups and multi-step campaigns. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It was hard to learn initially. The interface felt overwhelming, and as someone who was new to it, I had to watch a lot of tutorials and read documentation to understand how to use it effectively. While powerful, it’s definitely not beginner-friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While at Dentsu, I found Adobe Marketo Engage invaluable for managing large-scale marketing campaigns. The automation features are compelling—setting up multi-step customer journeys and nurturing leads was seamless. The ability to integrate with Salesforce and other tools was a huge plus, ensuring smooth collaboration between the marketing and sales teams. I also appreciated the detailed analytics that allowed us to measure performance and adjust campaigns in real-time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The steep learning curve was one of the biggest challenges. Even as someone who used it regularly, I often spent extra time figuring out how to implement new features. The UI could use an update—it feels a bit dated for such a powerful platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The Adobe Experience Cloud is something I like the most because it just brings everything together. By integrating marketing, analytics, and content management tools seamlessly, this makes it very effective and user-friendly. I love that it goes deep into customer habits so that I can create my own customized marketing campaigns. This is a game-changer in terms of real-time data analytics and automation functions which help me to make better decisions about my marketing efforts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
These are the things I hate about Adobe Experience Cloud; it is too expensive and complicated. The numerous options can be confusing, particularly towards people who are not very conversant with technology. The learning curve is steep, and you will find that a lot of time and effort go into getting to grips with all the tools available here. Further, there is the issue of cost which might become a challenge especially for smaller businesses or start-ups operating on limited budgets. Investing in setup, training and other ongoing support work could quickly accumulate to tons of cash. On top of this, it would be nice if there existed more pocket-friendly pricing plans or scaled-down versions of these products meant for small ventures. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As a solo marketer, Marketo Engage’s ability to automate campaigns and personalize outreach has been a major asset. I love the flexibility of creating workflows that fit different target audiences, and the lead scoring system helps me focus on high-value prospects. The detailed analytics are also a great tool to measure my efforts and optimize future campaigns. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The platform is not beginner-friendly. It took me weeks to understand the basics, and even now, there are features I feel unsure about using. The email editor is outdated, which slows down campaign creation. Also, the customer support feels lacking when you’re managing everything solo—it takes too long to resolve issues.
