ActiveBatch is a very powerful system that allows for automation to the maximum. There are a ton of built-in modules as compared to other automation environments that we've had to build the modules from other processes to get it to work properly. What took us 5 steps to complete a simple process can now be done in 1-2 steps. There have been very few things this software couldn't do for us as we migrate our automation processes over from another platform. Knowledge base articles are spot on for feedback to answer most of your questions as long as you have some idea of what to search out. I have even found articles while working on putting tickets into the system which made it so I didn't have to place a ticket request in. There are a ton of articles for both today's version and past versions that help clue you in on how to do things. Development team is very open when it comes to enhancements to the software application. We have already submitted two ideas and they have been presented to the dev team. There is a quite a learning curve to this software. Their training, while pretty extensive, is only available for 30 days and it is a separate purchasable item. I was kind of hoping that would've been included with the annual support agreement at least from a customer side. I can see having to pay for it if we were consultants. Their tech support is mediocre at best with every question needing to be a separate ticket and response times, unless you call in for support on a P1, are several days out. If you mark the ticket as development you might get a response back in 5 days and attempting to resolve it will take you a lot longer. So far after a month of being a customer I have found that the support engineers I have worked with are not fully versed in the software or sometimes the underlying systems like Powershell where they have to go back and research or put it into a lab environment. The user interface for version 12 is sometimes is slow to repaint the window or not at all. I can create objects under a plan but can't see them in the tree view. I have to view them and select them for editing in the map view. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We have brought in data, process, application, and database management under one application.

The improved Map view will significantly assist in flow management. Choose between execution server on a user defined load management setup, this will be helpfull in situation where system load management needs to be modified to fit requirements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It doesn't have best dependent viewing experience. Ex: if we have a dependet chain with 20+ jobs across different places, it is difficult to see the full flow in view map or monioring unlike possible in Control-M, this is very important for big companies as dependecies would be very complicated and we should be able to see all of them in one page.

Of course very important, it must always run stable and without errors, which it does impeccably.
I can also only recommend the very good support. Always very helpful, competent and fast, target and solution finding. Actually, we only needed the support to fully exploit all the possibilities of the product, according to the motto "we would like", with the answer "the product can do that, here are the instructions". To be honest, there is nothing to complain about the product itself. It really can be recommended without any restrictions.
