Overview of security vulnerabilities, remote retrieval of machine specifications, remote remidiation of vulnerabilities.
So far, it has helped me remove unneeded software and otherwise install updates to outdated software. It provides the CVE reference for every vulnerability so that I can evaluate what the risk actually is and decide what to do.
Beyond that, it can run reports on machine characteristics that have been very helpful as I am beginning to get more serious about tagging and tracking assets, so getting many of them entered into my database has been as easy as running reports instead of visiting them physically.
Probably the craziest part about it as well is that it is free for under 100 endpoints. Super thankful for the safety it adds to our nonprofit's technology.
The installer for individual agents is super quick to install, and actions run quickly once initiated from the web app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the usefulness of organizing endpoints into groups, however, I wish I could easily see which endpoints are not in any group, or list "Member Of" in the default endpoint view. However, I may be able to find a way to use the reporting features to have a view that includes groups. I also wish that the interface had a "Move to group" option on each endpoint, rather than having to visit a group and add endpoints by search from there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Action1 is intuitive to learn and use, and it just works. It has decent logging to help troubleshoot failures (hey, sometimes things happen) which is a big plus. I've tried over a dozen other products and none of them have the patch success rate of Action1. Setting up automation and approving new patches is easy. The ability to revoke approval status on previous versions of patches or software is awesome. When approving a new update it asks if you want to revoke approval of older versions. The client is very easy to install. I was so impressed with it for personal use, I bought it for our enterprise as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It doesn't support Linux. PLEASE add this. Debian, Ubuntu, Fedora at least. ARM for Raspian and variants would be awesome too. The app list is a good start, but needs to include more apps. I have noticed the list is growing, I hope that continues. Reporting is OK, but could be improved to help track compliance. We still use another vulnerability tracker for compliance verification. Patch management and software deployment. The patch management is very easy to use and the dashboard listed out at a glance the patches and vulnerabilities. It is very easy to group the endpoints and assign permission to other for managing the endingpoints too. The remote access is limited, no client is needed for remote control but I wish it has file transfer and onscreen keyboard. It would be great if I can use Ipad to control the endpoint remotely but due to no onscreen keyboard, it is not possible right now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish it has a better remote control function. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Action1's dashboard gives me instant feedback on our current position regarding both missing updates and associated vulnerabilities. The cloud based agent means I can reliably see the condition of fully remote workstations and the remediation steps allow me to document those servers for which risk can be mitigated but a specific update cannot be deployed due to compatibility issues. I don't want to sound like a shill, but I honestly haven't found anything to dislike yet! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love that Action1 is free for the first 100 endpoints, as it allows people to thoughouly test A1 before mass deployment, and allows small businesses to use it without budget concerns. The software is managed in a clean web app with lots of customizability. Scripting is simple, as is scheduling automations. Action1's agent is deployed by either individual installs or a mass deployer that can install domain wide. I've used both methods and it was easy to get all agents integrated into the dashboard. I use Action1 daily to approve updates, check on vulnerabilties, and remote into endpoints when my primary remote access software is not working. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike Action1's update approval methods. For example, I want Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge to always stay up to date. This requires me to regularly check the update approvals section, press allow on Chrome/Edge, then click "Deny older versions". This isn't a lot of work, but I would prefer an option to always update certain approved apps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Constant updates to both the front end and backend API means any problems are addressed very very quickly. Support is great when you need it but overall you rarely do. The most intuitive and reliable patch mgmt toolkit i've used in 30 years of IT.
More than that its scripting library makes collating info a breeze. Implementation to 5000~ endpoints took maybe one engineer one day using our not so good RMM. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I'd appreciate more enterprise level integration. As an application focussed for MSP's we need to be able to have a top level view of every machine at every customer and see problematic clients. At the moment this is more focussed on each organization. This is easily worked around however with their powerful api. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Action1 has provided my team with excellent controls over patching of OS and Third-party application updates. This has allowed us to retire our aging WSUS server and recieve better live reporting on endpoint update and vulnerability status. The remote access tool has also been helpful in providing both on- and off-site support for users.
The inclusion of 100 free licenses was an important factor in our testing and selection of the Action1 software. It allowed us to soft-deploy the tool to see whether it was a good fit for our environment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are some filters I would like to see in the list view of endpoints, but I think those are all on the company's published roadmap. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

You will not find another of its kind for the gentle price of $0. It is EXCEPTIONAL at what it does and it help me drive my systems to be up to date at all time, assist users at all times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would say the part that is a downfall is when it comes to datacentres for regions. Thats it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Friendly GUI, training curve is near 0, and available actions are just what we need, without complex dialog box or required complex configurations. Incredible fast agent deployment and assets management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
In general lines, all is right, but maybe, the manage of deleted assets is not clear than other options, and maybe some general space to document some "personalized" info (like notepad) will be nice to have. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's easy to get started and to install the agent on machines. Their free 200 device tier is a great way to allow smaller businesses a way into patch management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I haven't found any downsides to the product yet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
