I need to manage around 30 devices at the same time. It must be really hard to keep up with and control their updates. By synchronizing the Action1 system with my firewall system, I can perform updates and maintenance on a daily basis. it saved me a serious burden.
The 2nd most important feature is the script execution system, it really makes a lot of work easier. I can solve some operations that I need to do collectively with a single button by setting a script remotely. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I feel a serious lack of remote connectivity.
Reason 1 is that the web browser is insufficient, there is a need for mobile and desktop applications.
2nd reason is the instant connection speed is slow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Having two offices it can be difficult to monitor them both in person. Having Action1 simplifies that process. It also streamlines simple things like troubleshooting with it's ability to remote in from anywhere. I love it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have not run into any downsides yet, but I could maybe see larger companies having a few if they have more then 100 end users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the ease of use of action1 over everything else. It has been one less thing that i have to worry about in the nightmarish world of end user management. The simplicity of the system allows me to designate onsite user to halp manage some the day to day tasks. The implementation was super smooth and has been a breeze to do with, being able to simply install the management agent on devices in as little as under 2 minutes makes my life easier.! Nothing! I love the system and would honestly change nothing about it! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Action1 has been the most useful tool I have used in my 30 year career of teaching technology in a computer lab and the past 20 as the Technology Director. The ability to remote into an endpoint and resolve an issue quickly, the ability to push out patches and updates has been a lifesaver for me. I only started out using it this past winter - I only wish I had found out about it sooner!!! Thank you for a GREAT product! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is no downside as far as I can tell! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Action1 is one of the most easily accessible patch management solutions on the market. No other solutions come close with Action1's 100 free lifetime endpoints. And those 100 free endpoints have no locked paid features compared to other solutions. Customers get regular updates and webinars from Action1 detailing their plans to improve themselves even further. Their software repository makes is so easy to automatically update all your intergrated applications and deploying Action1 is as easy as installing an MSI to all your endpoints. We seem to be using Action1 more and more on endpoints because it is just fantastic and being web based makes is accessible from around the world! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is not much to dislike about Action1, I do wish though there were a way to do file transferring from their remote desktop feature. They recently just added macOS support and I don’t expect long before they add file transferring support as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This is an excellent platform for managing updates and vulnerabilities. They are SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001:2022 and GDPR certified which means they are doing everything right. Action1 is still relatively new, but they have made great strides and have excellent vision. The agents is easy to install and can be pushed out automatically with a simple discovery server configuration that can be installed on any server. They make the update and vulnerability process very easy with automations and policies. You can get a quick over view on your systems status in the dashboard which rates updates and vulnerabilites by criticallality based on CVEs. Software inventory for all systems is available and includes all updates that are missing for any software they are supporting. They post their roadmap which is very ambitious and are always adding new feautures. FInally, they have webinars frequently that include Patch Tuesday recommendations along with an excellent support team.. We highly recommend Action1! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Action1 is still improving at a fast rate so any features that are not available are probably on their roadmap. There are still a few glitches but they are addressing them quickly. They also welcome feedback and are very responsive when you submit it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
First off, you can use Action1 for free (for the first 100 endpoints) without any restrictions, nagging, sales calls, etc. This allows you to take your time to evaluate the product. The UI is clean, intuitive, and easy to navigate. You can create multiple organizations, which is great for MSPs. Onboarding is simple and straightforward. It gives you a lot of information about your inventory, and you can deploy software or run scripts with just a few clicks. I mostly use it to deploy updates and run custom PowerShell scripts (for this, your company will need to be verified). The remote control feature is basic but perfectly fine for quick support calls. Representatives from the company are active and approachable on social media as well. The (Windows) agent is lightweight (around 10 MB installed) and quick. They've also introduced support for macOS. New features and applications are added regularly, and they have been steadily improving the product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As a patch management solution, Action1 does everything I need, but it’s not an RMM, so keep that in mind. I hope the company stays focused on the core product and keeps it lean, avoiding feature creep and bloat. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Action1 is an excellent platform that works reliably and efficiently. It's easy to learn and implement. The automation features greatly simplify IT administration. The platform makes endpoint management effortless. Highly recommended! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The software repository could be larger. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The developers are quick to address new feature requests. Customer Support is very good at addressing issues and communication. The patching process is very fluid and functional. It is quick and easy to distribute one-off updates, as well. Action1 is easy to implement and you can begin using it within minutes, I use Action1 all day long, every day. I have not integrated Action1 with any other platforms as of yet but I am looking into that. Overall, Action1 is a good platform and has been developed and new features have been added at a very quick pace, and I continue to see improvements, Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Monimal Mac support, as of now. Waiting for Mac Remote Access but they are good about adding features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Action1 really helped us shrink our time to patch across our whole environment. We patching in waves, but typically have our whole environment patched within 3 or 4 days of a patch tuesday. The fact that it does 3rd party apps is icing on the cake. This portal is a daily check for me to catch all the CVE info as well.
Implementation was super easy; small agent with lots of ways to deploy. They're very responsive, even to free users, on their discord. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I've got nothing here. The product is still in active development and they listen to their users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
