I had first started testing Action1 simply for the Remote Control abilities which make my job easier. The patch management abilities weren't even on my radar when I decided that Action1 was right for my firm but have been great. The ability to run custom scripts and also add or remove software packages adds so much value and saves me even more time. Simple to deploy and simple to use. The team at Action1 keeps new features coming and makes IT Support easier than any platform I've used in the past. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are certain software packages that don't handle version changing patches well (7-zip with their frequent version changes for instance). I'd also like to see better reporting capabilities instead of just a dashboard. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Action1 makes it so easy to keep track of my endpoints and ensure the machines are updated. I don't know how I got along without it before. I like ability to use scripts to accomplish tasks; it saves so much time. The vulnerability details is the only way I was able to clean those up on our endpoints. It could be easier to create a group using a lookup of endpoints. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Great tool for updating windows, macos. It stands out from the competition: speed of updating, intuitive interface, simplicity. It is constantly being developed, I can't wait for support for linux. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
No file explorer. The creators could provide the ability to translate the interface for the community. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Ease of patching. Visability into machines and remote patching. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing so far. It has all the features I need. I do like that it is diverse and can patch Macs as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Ease of use and implementation. Refined interface. Large repository of software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Automation filters can be clearer and more intuitive. The additional remote desktop feature is a little glitchy and not stable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I use Action1 in my envoironment daily for patch management.
The ability to manage my Windows servers and workstations is quick and painless to integrate. Deployments are clean and there are minimal failures.
All items are logged with clear error codes if they apply. The agent deployment to the environment is easy to implement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The agent deployment logs get quite clogged with no way to filter this makes it hard to locate specific errors.
The rollout for features can be quite slow. (This is both good and bad.)
No support for Linux or MacOS Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Patch management.
Remote management.

At the moment I can't find anything I don't like. There are a few programs missing that can't be automatically updated, but the competition doesn't handle them either. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I've been in the IT/Managed Services industry for about 6+ years at this point, I've used quite a handful of tools to manage my Windows endpoints and it usually leads to a nightmare. However, Action1 seemingly makes that super easy! If you're in the market whether your a small shop, or a huge shop, or even an enterprise, you definitely need to consider Action1. It's so easy to implement and deploy, fly through the agent installer, setup a deployer, or even push it through Group Policy, which integrates semlessly. I think the best part about Action1 is they actually listen to customers and make improvements, that's hard to find these days. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There's not support for MacOS/Linux, which would be a lovely feature to have. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
