What do you like best about 800.com?

800.com is an excellent easy to use platform. I was able to set everything up quickly, including automated greetings, call forwarding etc. Everything works as intended. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about 800.com?

What I don't dislike the most is that I can't use the number to call my clients from a landline. I have to use the app on my cell, which is inconvenient. I wish there were a solution where I could call clients from my office phone, and the call would be coming from my 800 number.

Installing an app is an ok solution for the mobile phone, but it doesn't work for the landline. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about 800.com?

It is effortless to set up core functions like custom voicemail messages, call-waiting music and call forwarding options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about 800.com?

I would like to use 800.com more for texting capabilities but that feature does not seem developed. It would also be nice to know the number of the caller AND whether that call was coming from 800.com when a new call was coming in on our phone. Currently, we could either designate the call as coming from 800.com OR as coming from the caller's phone number. If we choose to see the caller's phone number, then a forwarded call from 800.com would look identical to a typical call being made directly to our personal phone number. What do you like best about 800.com?

800.com has it figured out. Their user interface is easy to use and intuitive. They were responsive when I had questions and I was able to speak to a real person. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I do not dislike anything about this service. It has been a pleasure and always easy to operate. I only wish we had it earlier because we went through some real nightmare with other companies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Having an 800 number gives a company instant value. All the great companies have them. The voicemail function is beautifully integrated with the email system and we can disseminate all calls to the right individuals Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about 800.com?

We love using 800.com! Super easy, user-friendly, their customer support is always ready to help. Highly recommend for any company. I was able to find a phone number with their database very quickly where as other solutions kept giving me options that were nothing like what I was searching for. I also like the online database which shows us how many times someone has called the number. This allows us to see and track which phone numbers our clients are using. What do you dislike about 800.com?

Getting the texting side of things setup was a bit challenging, the team was there to help though. I found that we are actually not able to have texts received to the number we purchased. We can text but it comes from a shortened version of our phone number, not a real phone number. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering 800.com:

800.com is easy to use. We use it as a vanity number for our Verizon line and it was easy to get setup and working. I have found that you are not able to use a vanity number for texting so if you want to utilize texting as a business, you have to keep your landline number. Their online system shows a texting option which does work but ultimately you will not receive the text if someone is to text you. The call tracking in the dashboard is very efficient and I like this feature to see who is calling different numbers that we use as a company. Their team has incredible customer support who answers calls quickly. After we purchased our number, the lag time to get going was less than they originally anticipated and their team was reaching out quickly to help us get set up and get going. I looked at numerous other options for this and found that 800.com had the most accurate phone numbers and was the easiest solution to get started with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We love having a customized phone number. It allows for better branding and gives us options in marketing. For example: on our company trucks we are now able to have an easily recognizable and easy to remember phone number which allows potentially clients to call quickly.
