After searching and trying several 800 services for my organization, I chose 800.com for all the right reasons. Reasonable rates, plans, flexibility, and I get my voicemails emailed right to me for backup and easy reference! I live this service and recommend them to whoever is looking for an 800 number for their company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There's nothing I dislike about the company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
You put in the number you would like, and the service gives you the best available numbers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing right now, have been using the service for over 6 months with no complaints. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Using 800.com is easy and simple to navigate their website and set up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Being easy and simple does not equate to the best. There are faults in their system that have been inherent for many years and they have not been able to correct. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
800.com has excellent options to meet the needs of every business. My favorite options are messages sent to me whenever I receive a call or voicemail, along with text message options. The customer support is fantastic. Anthony went above and beyond expectations to help me get everything set up correctly. I think they offer everything anyone could need for their service, including an option to have the greetings in Spanish. There are various options for taped greetings or you can upload one of your own. Updating information, or change greetings, business information, block problematic spam, or scam call numbers is not a challenge. I find it to be user-friendly to make calls, and easy to set up for your fax usage, as well. Having used it for several months, now, I would highly recommend 800.com to other businesses looking for a good application, and great support staff. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have not found anything to dislike about the service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I mean how could you go wrong with a name like that? I have only had a great experience with them for over 3 years now. I trust them. You should too! I like that once I got signed up, I have not had to worry one bit about it. I just know it works. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I can't say that I dislike anything about their service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It was very easy to get started, I got the vanity 800 number I was looking for, and the client support is extremely fast, thorough, helpful, and responsive. I have evaluated DialPad and several competitors, and I find that 800.com is much easier to use with its clear, effective interface and dialer. It's perfect for startups looking to convey a professional image to prospective and existing clients. You can use 800.com to route calls to a Google Voice local number since Google does not support toll-free, or you can text and dial outbound using the in-built dialer. 800.com also makes it simple to transcribe text to voice as inbound prompts that callers will hear after dialing in. The speech is exceptionally clear, fluid, and professional rather than choppy, contrived, and artificial. I was able to set everything up very easily on my own without running into a lot of question mark moments. We have really just begun with the service, so I'm sure there is a lot more to be discovered! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would like for there to be a sleek iOS app to more easily make outbound calls. The port-out fee is also a bit steep at $100; $50 would be a little fairer and would ring more of a service fee than a deterrent. (But at least they do allow for it.) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
800.com is easy to use and being web-based I can access it from anywhere, including sending faxes and accessing past faxes sent and received. It reduces costs by making a dedicated fax line obsolete. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have been using 800.com for a long time and miss the pay-as-you-go option. The monthly fee ended up being more expensive, but should be worth it if and when we use the service more frequently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
