I use the most basic functions of 800.com and they just work. I needed a toll free number to publish and have calls forwarded. It has worked as expected for many years and the price is reasonable. I went to 800.com after one of the big service providers lost my toll free number and could not or would not do anything to get it back. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

One thing I would change is when I receive a call to my cell, I want to be able to see the caller ID. Instead it just shows my business phone number, as if I'm receiving a call from my business line Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There's nothing I dislike. However, something that would be a major improvement is having the ability to see from the Home Screen if a particular call is a 800.com call. The initial setup process was straightforward and intuitive. 800.com offers a decent range of features, including call forwarding, voicemail, and call recording. Compared to competitors, 800.com's pricing is quite competitive. I have never experienced any service outages or disruptions. I love the vanity phone number mobile port option offered by 800.com. My personalized business phone number takes my small business to the next level by adding professionalism, credibility, and advertisement all-in-one. As a small business owner, it is essential I have the option to turn my personal cell phone into a professional business line. I also love that 800.com offers an app with a dashboard of customizable features. Although 800.com is an excellent number provider, I wish their dashboard was more user-friendly for people not familiar with the telecommunications sector. As someone who is not technically inclined, I found a learning curve to the app and online site. I had to research a lot of jargon to ensure I was selecting the right service for my needs. I'll admit I am still unsure of all the features 800.com has to offer. I also wish the Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We have found the instant notifications and alerts we receive are invaluable. We still have message history from years back and have received very timely support over the years. Just recently we changed one of our greetings and had a question about routing features. Someone called us back by phone when they felt it would be easier to support us. Not a chat bot!

We feel the interface could be more intuitive when setting up your routing. There is online help which is very well documented but that doesn't lessen the design of the call setup. It just speaks to it. Not a big complaint but noticed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wanted a vanity toll-free number. I used their tool to check availability. With a little patience and creativity on my end, I eventually found a toll-free number that was a great match for my brand/company. We first only needed to front our local number with an 800 number, this worked perfectly. I then needed a number with specialized routing for an IT on-call, to my surprise they had many of the features I needed to accomplish this project.
