What do you like best about 800.com?

The price first and foremost. But don't let that scare you. I was happy with the ability to search for a good vanity number for my business. From there I appreciated the fact that I was able to find a plan that fit my budget and usage trends. Under $10 a month for 1,000 minutes and 120 messages is great. Getting approved for SMS was a straightforward, yet necessary process that added a huge benefit to my company being able to communicate with existing and potential clients. What do you dislike about 800.com?

Several interesting features require an upgrade to the pro plan. I don't use any of these, yet, but it would be nice to have some inclusions even at a limit like is the case with the number of minutes and text messages per month. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We needed a good vanity number that would primary serve for inbound and outbound SMS communication. We use the phone feature as well but we primarily wanted to allow clients to text us. What do you like best about 800.com?

It was very easy to set-up and have the 1-800 number forward to our existing phone number. There are lots of really cool call routing options, like being able to route the call to different numbers at different times of the day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about 800.com?

The billing system could definetly be improved. The way they charge sales tax is very unclear which makes it difficult to do correct accounting for. There is also a slight pause on the callers end when you answer their call, which is a little annoying but not a big deal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is 800.com solving and how is that benefiting you?

We needed a phone number that could be used both within Canada and the United States, and our existing services just did not perform very well. 800.com has worked very reliably for us, plus having a 1-800 number makes us look more professional. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about 800.com?

My company has been an 800.com client since 2018. The service has been simply flawless for our company. I wouldn’t say that we are a power-user, but for us, the service provides exactly what we need: An 800# that either forwards where we want it to go or captures a voicemail message and notifies us that one was received. 800.com’s services have worked perfectly in that regard for 6 years – what more could we ask for?

One other thing. We get contacted by other competing companies all the time. I’ve looked at them, and I have never seen a single reason to switch. 800.com just works. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about 800.com?

I love how it has so many features. For example, when I transfer calls to my personal cell, upon answering an incoming call, I receive a message that states the call is from 800.com. I honestly can this of any. I will say that initially, there were not too many 800 numbers to choose from, but that was not a big deal as I ported my number in from my previous provider. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about 800.com?

That I can transfer the 800# to any number and that makes it SUPER convenient for my small business. I use my cell phone for most of the incoming phone calls. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There have been times when I receive a call on my 800# and the callers always state a totally different number that they are calling and not mine. It used to happen a lot more frequently and seems to have dwindled down a bit this past year. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I've had several problems recieving calls and have had to turn the notification on to immidiate. Once I did that my calls started to come through. If there was a better way for calls to alert us better, but other than that everything is good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
