"Essential Daily Insights and Real-Time Check-Ins That Keep Us Moving"
What do you like best about 15Five?

The platform is essential to our daily operations because it translates performance data into actionable insights without bogging us down with unnecessary administrative work. I also really value the check-in feature, which allows our team to surface blockers in real time, especially when we’re working across different time zones. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about 15Five?

My main takeaway is about configuring the reporting dashboards. While the data is high quality, getting the specific visualisation I need for quarterly business reviews takes more clicks than it should. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Caitlin Ludke of 15Five

Hi Stephen, thanks for taking the time to share your perspective! It’s great to hear that 15Five is playing such a meaningful role in your day-to-day operations, especially when it comes to turning performance data into actionable insights. We're also glad the check-in feature is helping your team stay aligned and surface blockers in real time, especially across time zones, where that visibility really matters.

We appreciate your feedback on reporting dashboards. It’s important that accessing and visualizing data during times like quarterly business reviews feels seamless and intuitive. We’ll be sure to pass this along to our product team as we continue working to make reporting more customizable and efficient.

Thanks again for the feedback and for being a part of the 15Five community!

"Great way to manage engagements with manager and handle reviews"
What do you like best about 15Five?

I still love having ONE platform for engagements with my manager. We use it for 1:1s, weekly check-ins, reviews, and to reference anything my boss may need to remember about who I am and how I work.

What I have begun using since my last review are the objectives. I made my team and myself the owners of the objectives so that we are all reminded every week of our commitments and we have to answer to our progress before we can submit our weekly check-ins. This helps remind us of what our focus should be. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about 15Five?

I still dislike the concept of high fives. While I give them and get them, I fear that ultimately it is a popularity contest and is something only certain personalities need or want to do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Caitlin Ludke of 15Five

Hi Susan, thank you for taking the time to review 15Five! We're happy to hear that consolidating everything into 15Five is making it easier for you and your manager. We are always looking for feedback to improve our platform, and we appreciate your honesty about our high five feature. Thank you!

"Clear understanding of engineering capacity and OKRs, but requires discipline to avoid notification."
What do you like best about 15Five?

As a software engineer, I get interrupted a lot while coding, reviewing PRs, and joining agile ceremonies. 15Five has made life easier by improving async comms with my engineering manager, which is a godsend for our distributed dev teams.

The structured check-ins help reveal technical roadblocks or deployment issues that generally don’t come up (or don’t get much focus) in our quick daily stand-ups. I also appreciate the 1-on-1 templates. Before we started using this, our manager meetings were largely unstructured discussions about the sprint. Now, we use 15Five to set personal development and career growth alignment goals, which helps separate those conversations from the “what did you build this week” updates.

The goals and OKR features are helpful in that they integrate the very high level product delivery OKRs with personal dev milestones. Plus, the pulse surveys and employee engagement features help management gain real insight into team dev workload, and help them identify burnout earlier, which is especially important during heavy release periods. Having these weekly reflections helps make performance tracking over time more objective and provides a record. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about 15Five?

To be honest, the weekly check-ins can seem iterative. If you get stuck into an intricate back-end epic that stretches several weeks, most of your update check-ins end up saying “working on the same thing.” That certainly makes check-ins feel like busy work.

There’s also the danger of notification fatigue. With several different platforms like Jira, Slack, GitHub, and PagerDuty, it can feel like the 15Five email notifications are adding even more noise. Similarly, for tighter nimble agile teams, the application can feel almost overbearing. Sections of the application and its advanced features feel more like an HR product and less like something an engineering team would like and want. There’s definitely a stereotypical “sheen” of customization that would be a part of it, but it can certainly become a relatively costly and fully on-boarded administration activity rather than just a closer-role development partner. You can make check-ins, comment moderation, notifications and more into something that best fits your development workflow and less into an economic, estimate-roll automation system. "Efficient Performance Reviews with Outstanding Support"
What do you like best about 15Five?

I find the performance reviews in 15Five incredibly easy to set up and execute, with parameters that I can easily edit at any time, which is great for overworked management. The customer service is my favorite part as I have never had a bad experience, and they regularly help me with work-arounds when needed features are unavailable. The AI in the knowledge base does a great job directing me, and I've been able to get my questions answered using the AI chat on several occasions. I love that it automatically starts a ticket for me if the AI can’t help right away. These features make 15Five an easy way for leadership to stay connected to employees and ensure that goals and priorities are aligned across the company, requiring very little effort from HR. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about 15Five?

It would be really nice if the engagement surveys were more customizable. We don't use them because we can't customize them to fit our format. It would also be cool if there were a matrix aspect for Career Pathing. Or if employees could have a checklist of items that they could complete over time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Caitlin Ludke of 15Five

Hi Annie, thank you for such a thoughtful review of 15Five! It’s great to hear how easy the performance review process has been for you and your team, especially with the flexibility to make adjustments as needed. We're also glad our support team and AI tools have been helpful along the way. It’s especially meaningful to hear that these pieces are helping leadership stay connected and aligned without adding extra lift for HR!

We really appreciate your feedback around engagement survey customization and career pathing. We know how important customization is and we'll be sure to share this with our product team as we continue to evolve the platform.

Thanks again for sharing your perspective and for being a part of our community!

"Team Engagement"
What do you like best about 15Five?

’ve had a very positive experience using 15Five so far. It has become an essential tool for improving communication, accountability, and overall team engagement. The platform makes it easy to set clear goals, track progress, and maintain regular check-ins, which has significantly enhanced transparency across the team.

One of the standout features is how it encourages meaningful conversations between managers and team members. The weekly check-ins and feedback tools help surface challenges early and ensure that everyone stays aligned and supported. It also creates a structured yet flexible way to recognize achievements and provide constructive feedback.

From a management perspective, 15Five has helped streamline performance tracking and made it easier to focus on both results and employee development. The interface is user-friendly, and the reporting features provide valuable insights that support better decision-making.

Overall, 15Five has contributed to building a more engaged, accountable, and high-performing team environment. I would highly recommend it to any organization looking to strengthen their people management and performance processes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about 15Five?

While 15Five offers valuable tools for performance management, there are a few areas that could be improved. At times, the platform can feel a bit overwhelming to navigate, especially with multiple features spread across different sections. Some workflows aren’t as intuitive as they could be, which can slow down efficiency.

Additionally, the frequency of notifications and emails can be excessive, making it easy to feel overloaded or distracted. There are also limitations in customization, particularly when trying to tailor questions, reports, or processes to specific team needs.

Another challenge is that some features—like surveys or check-ins—can become repetitive over time, which may reduce engagement. Lastly, for smaller teams, the platform can feel more complex than necessary and may not always provide proportional value for the cost Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Caitlin Ludke of 15Five

Hi Muhammad, thanks so much for taking the time to share your perspective on 15Five! We're glad to hear that our platform has helped strengthen communication, visibility, and accountability across your team. It's also great to know that your managers are having more meaningful, ongoing conversations and that 15Five is helping balance performance with development — that's what we set out to do, and we're happy that's the experience you've had.

We understand how important ease of use and customization are, especially with smaller teams. These are areas that we are always looking to improve and we'll be sure to share all of your feedback with our product team.

Regarding the volume of notifications, users and HR Admins have the ability to adjust their notification settings. I'm including two articles below that you may find useful, but you can always reach out to our Support team at support@15five.com for additional assistance.

-Manage my notifications (individual users): https://success.15five.com/hc/en-us/articles/360002814991-Manage-my-notifications

-Manage company wide notifications (HR Admins): https://success.15five.com/hc/en-us/articles/360042106351-Manage-company-wide-notifications

I hope those articles help and again, we appreciate your feedback! Thanks for being a part of the 15Five community.

"15Five: Intuitive, Easy to Roll Out, and Packed with Balanced Features"
What do you like best about 15Five?

What I like fine approximately 15Five is its ease of use and how intuitive the platform feels for each employees and managers. The ease of implementation is a big plus, as it’s quick to set up and smooth to roll out across groups. Customer aid has been responsive and useful on every occasion help is wanted, and I use the platform regularly for check-ins, remarks, and purpose tracking. The range of features, along with overall performance reviews, engagement surveys, and purpose alignment, is properly balanced with out feeling overwhelming. Additionally, the benefit of integration with tools like Slack and HR systems makes it match smoothly into normal workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about 15Five?

One thing I dislike about 15Five is that some features can feel a bit limited without customization, and certain advanced options are only available in higher plans. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Caitlin Ludke of 15Five

Hi Anubhav, thanks for sharing your feedback! We’re so glad to hear that 15Five feels intuitive and easy to roll out across your teams. "Helpful, Scalable, and Smooth AI Features with Strong Integrations"
What do you like best about 15Five?

The product is really helpful and scalable, especially when it comes to integrations. The design and layout are also very useful for the team. On top of that, it supports smaller review cycles, and the AI intelligence features feel very smooth to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about 15Five?

The main downside of the product is its cost compared to alternatives in the market. Still, if we want good performance, we have to be willing to bear that cost. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Caitlin Ludke of 15Five

Hi Pranjal, thanks for taking the time to review 15Five! It’s great to hear that you’re finding value in the platform’s scalability, integrations, and overall design, and that features like shorter review cycles and AI capabilities are supporting your team in a meaningful way.

We also appreciate your perspective on pricing and packaging. We understand that cost is an important factor, especially when comparing different HR solutions, and it’s something that's always top of mind as we continue to invest in the platform. We'll be sure to share this feedback with our leadership team. Thanks again!

"Keeps My Team Aligned Without Micromanaging"
What do you like best about 15Five?

The absolute best part for managing multiple projects is how much this cuts down my calendar. The Weekly Check-ins let my team drop quick updates on what is blocking them before I even have to ask. I also really dig the High Fives feature. When a team member grinds hard to hit a tough deadline, giving them public credit instantly goes a long way in keeping morale up during stressful sprints. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about 15Five?

My main issue is that the Objectives dashboard gets really cluttered if you are juggling a lot of overlapping timelines. It is supposed to keep everything organized, but updating those progress bars manually every single week just feels like extra busywork. I really wish it synced smoother with the actual task-tracking tools like Jira or Asana that my team is already living in all day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Caitlin Ludke of 15Five

Hi Kratika, thanks for taking the time to share your experience! It’s great to hear that weekly check-ins are helping reduce meeting load and giving you better visibility into blockers ahead of time. We also love to hear that High Fives are supporting team morale, especially during busy project cycles!

We appreciate your feedback on the Objectives dashboard as well. Managing multiple timelines should feel organized, not overwhelming, and we understand how manual updates can start to feel like extra work. We'll be sure to share your feedback, along with future integration ideas, with our product team.

"Digital Heartbeat of Hit and Fit Gems"
What do you like best about 15Five?

What makes this unique for Hit and Fit Gems is the "High Five" feature. It sounds simple, but in a retail shop, it’s a game-changer. When a showroom assistant helps a customer find the perfect engagement ring, anyone on the team can give them a public shout-out. It creates a "gratitude wall" that actually boosts morale more than a random bonus check ever could. I also love the "1-on-1" templates because they force us to talk about career growth, not just daily sales targets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about 15Five?

The biggest headache is the pricing for my part-time staff. I have people who only work the floor on weekends, but I still have to pay the full monthly "pro" price just to get them into the system for basic feedback. Also, the mobile app is definitely built for office workers; it can feel a bit clunky when you're trying to quickly log a goal while standing behind a jewelry counter. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Caitlin Ludke of 15Five

Hi Divyanshi, thanks for taking the time to review 15Five! It’s great to hear that High Fives and 1-on-1 templates are having a meaningful impact on your team, especially in creating recognition and more thoughtful development conversations.

We also appreciate your perspective on pricing for part-time staff and the mobile experience. We understand how important flexibility is for teams with varying schedules and we'll be sure to share this feedback with our product team.

Thanks for being a part of the 15Five community!

"Great for the Website, Tough for the Showroom: My 15Five Review"
What do you like best about 15Five?

Whenever we launch a new jewelry collection on our website, we can set a clear sales goal for the whole team to see. My absolute favorite feature is the "High Fives." When one of our reps closes a big deal on a high-end piece, everyone can give them a virtual shoutout. It really boosts morale on the floor and keeps the energy up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about 15Five?

The biggest downside is that the software really isn't built for physical retail or warehouse staff. While it's great for the team sitting at their computers, asking my showroom staff or the crew packing gems to stop what they are doing to fill out a weekly online survey just feels like I'm giving them annoying homework. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Caitlin Ludke of 15Five

Hi Sourabh, thank you for sharing your feedback with us! It’s great to hear how you’re using goals to align the team around new collection launches, and we love that High Fives are helping create that sense of energy and recognition across your team.

We also really appreciate your honest feedback around the experience for showroom and warehouse staff. We never want 15Five to feel like an assignment, and we're always exploring ways to make participation feel lightweight and natural for all types of employees. We will be sure to share this feedback with the team.

In the meantime, we do have a 15Five mobile app for both iOS and Android users. I've linked the Help Center articles below. This may make it easier for employees to fill out check-ins or give High Fives on the go. If you have any questions about this, you can email us at support@15five.com and we'd be happy to assist.
