What I like best is the professionalism-to-price ratio, especially the ability to host a custom business domain for free or at a fraction of Google’s cost.
I also value their strict privacy stance, as they don't scan my data for ads, which gives me peace of mind when handling sensitive client details for my ventures. It’s the perfect, secure "clean" environment for running a lean agency. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This one hits hard as I had to learn all of that by myself when I started using it. What I dislike most about Zoho Mail is the steep administrative learning curve; setting up DNS records like SPF, DKIM, and MX is often a headache, and the dense Admin Console can feel overwhelming when you just want to make a quick change. I’ve also found the aggressive spam filters to be a double-edged sword, as they occasionally flag legitimate client emails or newsletters I actually want to see. Another major friction point is the proprietary lock-in on the free tier, which blocks IMAP/POP access and forces me to use their specific app rather than my preferred native mail client. Finally, the UI can occasionally feel laggy during peak hours, and the "manual save" requirement in settings has led to me losing my configuration changes more than once.
