We tried other systems (free) and came back to TCP Humanity Scheduling software. It meets our needs for our front line staff. We have been using this system for over 10 years.
Easy to use. Can enter notes for staff shifts. We like it!
It's easy to chat with a support staff at TCP Humanity when we do not know how to do something.
Lots of webinars offered to explain functionalities we do not use but that could be beneficial to our operations.

Our pay system is Dayforce/Ceridian, and TCP Humanity can not interact, so I have to enter the schedule in both systems. It would be great if Dayforce/Ceridian was one of the systems that can interact with Humanity.

TCP Humanity Scheduling allows multiple associated staff to be coordinated for various associated locations, positions, and dates. After a easy learning curve, we can easily schedule, review, and approve of a various shifts. Staff also find ease of access, considering the simple user interface to input unavailability. I love that you can create an unlimited number of positions and that regardless of your organization's size you can accommodate many departments with various functions. It has a clean and easy to access mobile app that makes clocking in and out easy. We love that it is compatible with our Microsoft calender. Humanity's staff responds quickly when we needed them to. *All dates should be include day and month eg 8 Feb. clearly, always.
*When an update is made it is flaged as an update and not a new booking
*Clear job discription when palcing a vacancy eg Operator ? Is it a Camera Operator or Audio Operator, Lighting Operator? Make it clear.

The options for making shift templates and color coding positions is very nice. It's easy to check employees timeclocks, and also the messaging works well for communication. There are many different ways to run reports on employees. The phone app is good. Avis collecté par et hébergé sur G2.com.
Minor things are issues- if you accept a leave request is deletes anything the employee is scheduled on. Good in theory but we make Vacation a position, so this is annoying to me. There is not a way to compartmentalize by department within an organization, for example, being able to have departments named as such, with communication being able to go out to just department employees or organization-wide announcements going to all the departments.
