The user interface is very easy to use for managers and requires very little training on behalf of those administering the system. The administration portion of the system behind the scenes allows for a lot of self-service, which is very nice to be reactive to changes and manager requests versus needing to rely on system administrators to make minor changes. Being able to batch upload data, from all fields to just a few is extremely slick and there are fantastic controls to not allow any fields to be uploaded from the template if even one field has issues. This limits the need to fix issues one-by-one iteratively. If you want to get out of Excel and provide your employees with a simple interface for planning annual increases and other compensation rewards, look no further! Some of the system steps required quite a bit of assistance from the company's system experts, such as the notification letters, but they are extremely responsive making this not much of a negative. The system's manager interface can be a bit cumbersome with losing the headers if they have more than 20 direct reports, but should managers really have that many direct reports? I wish there was an option to not allow managers to spend beyond their budget controlled by the system, but this is ultimately able to be managed by training on the budget process. - minimalist UX/UI; in other words: very user-friendly, easy to navigate, neutral colors so it's easy to review data; when things are flagged or if a budget is over the alloted amount, it is shown as red text which is easy to see against the neutral color palate
- information is shown in easy to understand columns and rows, breakdown of calculations are shown and easy to understand
- manager friendly! easy to train non-HR personnel on how to use. Literally took about 30 minutes to train everyone; with any new platform implementation, we expect to get dozens of questions from managers. But the system is designed so well that we got only a handful of questions from managers
- customer support: superb! shoutout to Neil Morgan and Austin Keller. They really gave us white-glove service that continued even AFTER the contract was signed. (shocking, right?). After implementation, if we had any questions, they were quick to respond and always happy to hop onto a video call.

SimplyMerit was utilized for our merit process this year. The system is easy to use and accomodating to various modes of compensation (merit, bonus, stock, etc.). The ability for managers to go in and make their recommendations and the ability to have real-time data is awesome, especially if you have had to use a spreadsheet to manage a merit process. Our managers made many comments on how easy the system was to use and how intuitive it was. I also received very positive comments on how smoothly and seamless the process was compared to other years. The analytics and reporting is very robust. We were able to provide compensation letters to our employees very easily and the presentation was excellent. We have a very complex merit process and the staff at SimplyMerit were amazing. We had a lot of asks, needed a lot of hand holding, and had many last minute changes. We were always met with a smile and an answer to our needs. The customer service was fantastic. I would highly recommend SimplyMerit if you are looking for a stand alone system to facilitate your year end merit and bonus process. SimplyMerit was extremely easy to set up. We did not use the direct link from our HRIS to SimplyMerit and instead imported a report, but the process was almost too easy and their how-to guides walk you through the fields needed. Once imported, you can start setting up the system right away.
SimplyMerit has some of the best customer support I have ever received from a vendor. They consistently give proactive feedback and suggestions, respond immediately to any errors or questions, and go the extra mile in every regard to make sure you and your pay planners have the best possible experience.

There was a limited amount of custom fields, it would have been nice to have a few extra when setting up the merit/bonus statements.
The system can be a bit tricky to navigate for pay planners who have multiple reporting lines, but SimplyMerit does have "Help" videos and guides that come up addressing this. Avis collecté par et hébergé sur G2.com.
The flexability that the application allows. The initial set-up was extremely easy and manager liked how simple it was to use on their end. At times having to upload all data and or updates can be time consuming. Everything in the system however works as advertised. There are little improvements I would like to see around notifications and approvals. Also the ability to make some corrections without having to upload a file.
