The customer service for Motive is responsive and careful. We've been with Motive for 4 years now, and navigating the system as it has developed has been interesting, but at least we know that they are always trying to make improvements. The address for where our trucks are at is an awesome feature, and I've found it very easy to find our trucks wherever they may be in the US and Canada. When hooking the ELD to the truck, the directions were very simple and easy to follow. This tool is imperative for our operations team. Even our people in accounting use their access to check drive history and to make sure our guys don't miss out on breakdown pay, which our guys neglect filling out paperwork. It seems extremely accurate. Management and accounting use Motive several times a day. We would be crippled without this tool and I don't know how we ran without it. Je trouve seulement deux choses négatives sur Motive. There are many aspects of Motive that I like. The best part of Motive is the software is easy, if you need to review driver logs for HOS or events it is so simple. Keeping the drivers informed is important and Motive makes this easy as well. The management and reporting side of the application are very nice and easy to use, from the driver aspect the app just works based on the settings that the company sets. There is a report for just about any amount of knowledge you want to glean from the app and there is just about any integration you could hope for. Receiving emergency service calls can throw a wrench in your daily schedule. With Motive it has streamlined my response time to customers because I can now accurately provide an ETA for the technicians arrival. The option to find my closest truck to "X" address is the biggest help in my day to day responsibility. I spend less time making phone calls to find out the locations of our techs which allows me to provide a faster response time to our customers. I have not ran into a downside yet, I am still learning different tools the site has offer. There are a lot of different options to choose from, if there was a way to customize only using "X" tools to customize to the needs of the user, that could be helpful but not a deal break whatsoever. When i click on a unit location to open in Google maps, I only want to know where it is and it opens with a route from my current location to the unit location. La facturation est une situation problématique. Ils n'ont pas de champ pour entrer un code SWIFT afin de faciliter la facturation pour les entreprises canadiennes qui souhaitent que le paiement soit prélevé sur leur compte bancaire. La facturation n'envoie pas les factures à temps, ce qui entraîne des retards de paiement. S'ils envoient la facture, ils l'envoient avec des factures "en retard" sur lesquelles ils s'interrogent, même si les paiements ont été envoyés depuis longtemps et n'ont tout simplement pas été correctement reçus dans leur système. We frequently get feedback that the ELDs lose connection with mobile devices. This causes frustration and confusion when it comes to log compliance. This software is so user friendly and simple to use. There is so much information that the monitors can pull, and the camera's are such high quality! We have over 40 trackers and cameras installed and as we grow, we will add more to our system. From tracking trucking times, to traffic notification, too incident investigations and accident reviews, this system can do it all. Not to mention the maintenance tracking! Check it out!
