In my view, this makes Hygraph's GraphQL API probably the best aspect: it allows data to be queried in a much more precise way-efficient enough for the developer to really fetch what he needs. This gives the flexibility to build web applications with better performance with features more suited to the requirement. Like the traditional CMS focusing on REST APIs, GraphQL has the added advantage of a single endpoint through which those multiple API calls can be reduced, together with some of the pain points for its integration. "As a result of the whole over-importance that is given to developers, which makes it really difficult for the first steps of any user, especially for content editors without any technical background, my primary dislike about Hygraph is its lack of really introducing itself into this developing world of market-ready content.
