The primary drawback of using Constant Contact Advanced Automation is that if you need to edit a sequence and disable it by mistake, or if the sequence expires, you have to restart the entire email sequence process from the beginning. Constant Contact makes it VERY VERY easy to create email templates and send out a campaign. Stupid simple. Lists are straightforward, automated segments are fantastic, and tags are a great feature. Creating and mangaging sign-up forms is straight forward, and tie nicely into the automated email system for something as nice as a custom "thanks for signing up to mailing list X". From an admin perspective, user access controls are VERY limited. Folks are either admins with full access (excluding billing), OR can only create campaigns.
