We have been using Destiny for so long that I can't exactly speak to any solution we used prior to implementing Destiny, but from what I am aware of it has helped our library and bookstore staff immensely, and it has dramatically helped to simplify tasks...
There is no tool within the interface to upload data. Users are limited to import of Resource information with a data converter utility.
Workflow efficiences on the backend. E-resource Management and cataloging. Front end facing for the end user is very easy to use and navigate. Reports are easy to run and useful.
Discovering patrons can be better. Also adding new patrons is a hassle everytime, I suggest there would be an option on the main circulation page would help. Sometimes stops working, have to open it again in a new browser. An interloaning option can be added.
