Deepin is one of the best linux OS to provide a beautiful and rich UI with animations. It does look like a MacOS.
The downside I found was the platforms lack of maturity and inconsistent product road map. Feature implementation timelines are not always reality
The main thing I like about Mint is, that it is very user-friendly and customisable, most of the useful apps are preinstalled in the OS, and the Software Manager is also really good.
