"Clean, Modern UI and Smooth Multitasking with Snap Layouts"
What do you like best about Windows 11?

Windows 11 has a clean, modern UI that feels smooth and user-friendly. I really like the centered taskbar, the improved window management with Snap Layouts, and the overall performance improvements. Multitasking feels easier because everything is more responsive, and the whole experience looks polished and visually appealing. Overall, I appreciate the clean interface, smooth performance, and improved multitasking features. Snap Layouts, better window management, and the system’s responsiveness help me stay productive during daily work, especially when I’m handling multiple applications at once. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Windows 11?

Some updates can take a while to install, and certain older applications or drivers may run into compatibility issues. The hardware requirements can also be restrictive, especially on older systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Modern, Intuitive UI with Productivity-Boosting Features and Seamless Microsoft Integration"
What do you like best about Windows 11?

What I like best about Windows 11 is its modern and intuitive UI/UX, which feels clean, visually appealing, and easy to navigate. Features like Snap Layouts and virtual desktops significantly improve productivity and multitasking.

From an integrations standpoint, it works seamlessly with Microsoft services like OneDrive, Teams, and Office, making it especially useful in both personal and professional environments.

Performance is generally smooth and optimized, with faster boot times and better resource management compared to previous versions. It handles everyday tasks efficiently and supports newer hardware well.

In terms of pricing/ROI, Windows 11 offers good value, especially for users already in the Windows ecosystem, as upgrades are often free and the productivity gains justify the investment.

Support and onboarding are also solid, with a user-friendly setup process, helpful tips, and strong documentation from Microsoft, making it easy even for less technical users to get started.

Lastly, the growing AI and intelligence features like Copilot integration, add a forward-looking advantage, helping users automate tasks, get quick assistance, and improve overall efficiency. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Windows 11?

What I dislike about Windows 11 is that, despite its polished UI/UX, some design changes reduce usability, for example, the simplified context menus and limited taskbar customization can feel restrictive compared to Windows 10.

In terms of integrations, while Microsoft services are tightly built-in, it can feel overly pushy, with frequent prompts to use Edge, OneDrive, or Teams, even when you prefer alternatives.

Performance is generally good, but on older or unsupported hardware it can feel heavier, and system requirements (like TPM 2.0) limit accessibility for many users.

From a pricing/ROI perspective, while upgrades are often free, the value isn’t always compelling enough to justify switching immediately, especially if your current setup is stable on Windows 10.

Support and onboarding are decent, but forced updates and occasional confusing settings organization can frustrate users trying to maintain control over their system.

Lastly, while AI features like Copilot are promising, they still feel early-stage and not deeply integrated into everyday workflows yet, so the practical value can be inconsistent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great for WSL2 and Docker, but still feels bloated"
What do you like best about Windows 11?

The refined UI and window snapping features in Windows 11, combined with PowerToys, have significantly optimized my multitasking workflow between SQL Server, n8n, and GeneXus. The system provides a high-performance environment for dockerized architectures and local LLM deployments, offering superior memory management and stability. From an ROI standpoint, the native WSL2 integration eliminates the cost of third-party virtualization, while the built-in AI tools accelerate the troubleshooting of technical logs. This is backed by a robust support ecosystem and extensive documentation, ensuring that complex integrations remain seamless and professional uptime is maximized. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Windows 11?

The UI still feels inconsistent in deeper system settings, often requiring multiple clicks to reach legacy menus, which impacts navigation speed. Integration with enterprise hardware can be hindered by arbitrary TPM requirements, affecting the ROI of existing hardware fleets. Performance-wise, the default telemetry and pre-installed bloatware consume unnecessary cycles that should be reserved for local LLM and Docker workloads. Furthermore, while the AI features are promising, their forced implementation can feel intrusive, and the support documentation occasionally lags behind for specific technical edge cases in virtualization, making onboarding for specialized development environments more time-consuming than necessary. "Great for Dev Workflows with WSL 2 and Snap Layouts, but Feels Resource-Heavy"
What do you like best about Windows 11?

As an AI/ML engineer, what I appreciate most about Windows 11 is how much more developer-friendly it has become. The seamless integration of Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL 2) lets me run Python scripts, Docker containers, and Linux-based ML workflows natively, without the hassle of dual-booting. On top of that, the new Snap Layouts are genuinely helpful for multitasking. I can quickly arrange VS Code, my terminal, and browser documentation side by side, which works perfectly with my multi-monitor setup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Windows 11?

I dislike how resource-intensive Windows 11 can feel right out of the box. There seem to be too many background services, telemetry processes, and pre-installed apps (bloatware) running at once. When I’m training heavy machine learning models or running Docker containers locally, I need as much RAM and CPU as possible, and the OS overhead sometimes ends up competing with my development tools. "Windows 11: Best Operating system"
What do you like best about Windows 11?

The best thing about windows 11 is that its Windows. We basically don't have any good alternative for Windows coz its GOAT. I know we have Linux, Chrome OS, Mac OS. But Linus is not meant for casual office worker who want to do his work quickly. Chrome OS is lacking compatibility and features with many softwires, amd Mac OS is simply not affordable at all for startup company.

Its design is very modern and cool, that is good but it needs good computing power of system, to make use of all its features including inbuilt ai Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Windows 11?

On an ideal stage of fresh install it consumes 50% ram at 16gb gig, for unnecessary background processes its completely waste of resources Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Better Performance but scope to improvise"
What do you like best about Windows 11?

I’ve been using Windows 11 mainly for professional work and delivery, and overall it feels smoother than Windows 10. Day-to-day tasks like switching between apps, handling multiple tools while general navigation feels faster and more stable.

Clean UI , which I personally like — it’s simpler to use once you get used to it. Also, integration with Microsoft tools like Office 365 is pretty seamless, so setup didn’t take much effort. The upgrade process itself was straightforward for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Windows 11?

while upgrading, I have noticed some issues — especially around data syncing across drives, which was a bit worrying initially. Also, some applications like Excel or Command Prompt occasionally take longer than expected to open.

I’ve also seen minor sync issues with OneNote. Nothing major, but noticeable. I feel Microsoft could improve the upgrade experience with clearer guidance or checks to avoid these small but important issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Windows 11: Modern Design, Excellent Multitasking, Needs UI Consistency"
What do you like best about Windows 11?

I love Windows 11's clean and modern interface; it feels more polished and less cluttered. The centered taskbar and smooth animations give it a fresh look. Snap Layouts stands out as a particularly useful feature for multitasking. I like how smooth and responsive the overall experience feels. The new Settings app is much better organized, making it easier to find things. Improved virtual desktops are great for separating different types of work, and notifications and quick settings are cleaner now. The initial setup was straightforward and user-friendly, and it works smoothly with tools like Visual Studio Code and Google Chrome, supporting a seamless workflow for both development and everyday tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Windows 11?

One thing that could be better is performance on slightly older systems—it can feel a bit heavy compared to previous versions. There are also some small inconsistencies in the UI, like certain settings still being split between old and new menus, which can be confusing. The taskbar is more limited in customization than before, which reduces flexibility for some users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Clean, Modern Interface with Excellent Multitasking for Development"
What do you like best about Windows 11?

I use Windows 11 daily during my MCA studies and internship work. I run development tools like Postman, VS Code, and browsers simultaneously. The improved multitasking and UI help me manage projects efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Windows 11?

I’ve also noticed occasional compatibility issues with certain development tools, and the system can feel a bit heavy when multitasking on mid-range machines. Lastly, the pre-installed apps and built-in suggestions often feel unnecessary and end up cluttering the overall user experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Windows 11: A Smoother Daily Experience Thanks to a Cleaner UI and Snap Layouts"
What do you like best about Windows 11?

If I had to pick just one thing I like most about Windows 11, it would be Snap Layouts.

It sounds simple, but in daily use it makes a huge difference. You can instantly arrange apps into neat sections like browser on one side, Excel on another, and maybe a video or chat window alongside without dragging and resizing everything manually.

It saves time every single day.

Keeps my screen organized

Perfect for multitasking especially on laptops.

Beyond that, I also really like the clean, modern design. It feels less cluttered than older Windows versions and the gradual addition of AI tools (Copilot) which make tasks like writing or searching faster. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Windows 11?

Context Menu has been Changed. There are Too Many Clicks. Right-click menu is simplified by default.

You often need to click “Show more options” to get full options.

Requires newer hardware (TPM 2.0, newer CPUs).

I Can feel slower on older laptops compared to Windows 10.

Taskbar can’t be moved to top or sides. New design is nice, but sometimes slower. Tabs are helpful but still not as smooth as expected.

As per my observation, the biggest downside of Windows 11 is reduced control and flexibility, especially compared to Windows 10 combined with some UI decisions that add extra steps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Windows 11: Sleek Design, Enhances Multitasking"
What do you like best about Windows 11?

I use Windows 11 mainly for daily work, browsing, learning, and light development tasks. The overall experience feels modern and smooth compared to Windows 10. The design is clean and attractive, with a centered Start menu. Multitasking is easier because of Snap Layouts, which help manage multiple windows efficiently. I like the quick settings panel, which makes changing Wi-Fi, sound, and brightness very easy. File Explorer looks cleaner, and the improved security features give more confidence. Windows 11 also feels faster and smoother in everyday use; apps open quickly, and switching between tasks is smooth. Overall performance is stable for regular work. What I like most about Windows 11 is its clean, modern design and smooth user experience. The interface feels more organized and visually pleasing, which makes using the system more comfortable for long periods. Overall, these small improvements make Windows 11 comfortable and efficient to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Windows 11?

I find the Start menu in Windows 11 has limited customization, which is a bit disappointing. Some features I'm used to from Windows 10 are missing. The hardware requirements are too strict, preventing many older but still capable PCs from upgrading. Also, the Settings app is confusing since some options are split between Settings and the Control Panel, which affects usability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
