Audacity's recording and editing capabilities are very limited, as are its MIDI editing capabilities. It is much more difficult to obtain high quality recordings from this software, and is not used by professional producers or audio engineers.
I use multiple DAW programs including Logic Pro X, but cubase in terms of features and ease of use takes the bacon. I am able to quickly set up templates and save them for use on future projects. The program itself doesn't use much RAM compared to Logic, so...
