It is very intuitive and easy to use. If you need help with anything, chances are several folks have a video on YouTube showing you how. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It can do so many things I don't even know about yet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Being able to integrate, upload, and export across all apple suites and platform tech is INCREDIBLY convenient even when not using inherently just apple products. Also integrates with several major platforms outside of apple products, and intuitive to use. Great for keeping tracks in line with each other. In short, this has a very high ease of implementation for apple users. The customer support is solid, in that you can go to a genius bar or lean on apple's massive support network. When I worked heavier in content creation, I had a very high frequency of use for this (3 times a day minimum). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Limited synergy with non apple products / software. it's not a glaring issue, but one that is a bit of a constant hamper when working with other people not using GB. Sometimes this software can cause the CPU to freeze/reboot. Constantly saving your progress is a must. Also as stated in the primary review, this is a intro level software. When I want to create music on a sudden go or at a moment where i don't have any instruments, this GarageBand app helped me alot to lock my tune. The most impressive thing in this app is, it sound's accurate as real Instrument. So i can Implement my tunes & edit them whenever or wherever i want and even i use it frequent it responded very well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Garageband has most of the features such as music recording, Mixing, audio editing on Mac. but the feature we all users want is bring it to Playstore and Windows. because most of the phone users in india are android and they use windows laptops. Need to focus more on integration in features section on mobile app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The thing I like the most about garageband are the integrated synts, the sounds are really top notch and it doesnt feel like a free software. I have started using it with my interface easily and adding voice effects to whatever singing I have recorded is really easy. Havent really asked for support as the software is really easy to use. I use it every week and has been my go to DAW for many years now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes it starts lagging a bit when I am using a high number of tracks
It would be cool if it also had some of the effects that Logic Pro has even if it doesnt have the same synth library Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the way in which Garage band breaks down the complex world of audio production into easy to use elements. However as you get more knowlegeable the software really does grow with you. Just by changing your views you unlock new features that help you do more with the software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
You do eventually reach a limit of the software. The most obvious one here is the limitations on plugins available to use. If you are using professional software like Logic you have even more features available. However for the basic user this is something they can grow into. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As a music enthusiast and occasional composer, GarageBand has been my go-to software for creating music effortlessly. What I appreciate most about GarageBand is its intuitive interface coupled with a robust set of tools that cater to both beginners and seasoned musicians alike. The simplicity of the layout allows for quick familiarization, making it an ideal platform for newcomers diving into music production. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are a few areas where GarageBand could improve. The software might feel limiting for advanced users seeking more intricate controls or additional plugins for fine-tuning their compositions. Moreover, while the software provides a wide range of presets and effects, having more customizable options for sound manipulation could enhance its appeal to more seasoned musicians. Garageband is a very useful tool when bringing your musical ideas into life. I use it in both my macbook air and my iphone, and it is very easy to understand how to create a beat and add instruments. You can download different instruments and mix them up. You can also record your voice or any other instruments. It also allows me to connect my M-Audio Oxygen to make it easy for me to play and record sounds. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is not as robust as other tools I have used (Abelton, FL Studio, Logic Pro), but it is very user friendly. It is good for quick beats creation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

GarageBand's simplicity and versatility make it a standout tool for music creation. Its user-friendly interface, extensive instrument library, and powerful features cater to both beginners and experienced musicians, fostering creativity and enabling the production of high-quality music. GarageBand's downsides include limited advanced editing capabilities, fewer virtual instruments compared to professional software, and some constraints for experienced users. Its simplicity may be a drawback for those seeking more complex features in music production. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Easy to use interface - simple to setup tracks and record. You can also share projects between desktop and ipad/iphone so this makes it easy to transfer from one device to another to get finer-grained editing on more powerful hardware when required. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The version of GB on the destkop and iPad/iPhone must match - if they get out of sync then you can't share projects. Opening the project with the most recent version of the software will upgrade the project and then you can't run it on the older devices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's super intuitive that even a non-sound engineer can use to enhance their sound mixes . I like how it already integrates a metronome to facilitate how to wave up the beats as well as a pre-built set of wonderful effects as if you have your own mixer and amplifier. Hmm, I don't necessarily dislike but maybe suggestions for improvement like it would be great to utilize intutive buttons that would easily allow me to know at first glance if an effect is added and also, would be great if effects are easily set up with a duration parameter for more user control.
