I love Logic, I love how its really next level up from Garageband. I first started using it in Audio Engineering school at SAE in 2016. Logic Pro was my go too when I was terrified of using Pro Tools at first when learning as an artist as to record myself. Now because of BootCamp messing with my computer in 2022 it's my go to for everything audio for both making beats, producing and recording vocals. I absolutely love Drummer track its Apple Loops. It was so crazy learning Usher's Love In This Club was just 2 Apple Loops that Polo Da Don put together and it became a loop. Logic is my audio best friend. For beatmaking out of the major ones Pro tools, FL and Ableton, all my money on Logic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I do not really like mixing vocals take a lot more time than it would in Pro Tools, like their reverb plugins aren't necessarily the best. I wholeheartedly believe Logic is better for making beats and doing the overlay of producing something. But that's just me because I have seen people master songs in Logic with vocals in less than 30 minutes. But I feel the Reverb could be better and the mixing process with vocals shouldn't be so tedious. But making beats? Oh, Logic can do no wrong in my humble opinion. Out of all the DAWs with that I have to go with Logic. But I humbly feel its not the best for mixing vocals. I actually had to get plugins to mix my vocals in it better. But I'm definitely not going to smear Logic Pro though, but I will be honest that it need better plugins. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Logic Pro X has amazing capabilities that are simple to use. Using only stock sounds, I was able to create many beautiful songs. I have created anything from ballads and love songs to techno and dubstep songs. The user friendly interface makes editing extremely fun. connecting our piano to the software was also easy with a small and affordable preamp. The sound quality we get from the software is professional grade. Although this is not quite pro tools, you can still have a professional sound that can rival anyone. The things that I dislike most about Logic Pro X is that the software can sometimes get overwhelmed with the amount of voice and instrument channels that you implement. Even with a Mac Book Pro with 16 GM of RAM, more than 8 different channels bogged down Logic Pro X and it was very laggy. The ultimate sound that came out of the work was outstanding, but the process itself was frustrating. I would recommend no more than 6 channels when creating music which can limit some of the scope you may have been envisioning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
For how in-depth of a DAW Logic is, it's fairly simple to learn and have been able to teach others how to use it easily. As an instrumentalist who also produces electronic music, it really has a great blend of mixing and production tools that support both live recording and sampling. I wish Logic was as much of an industry standard as Pro Tools, but I see Logic gain popularity year over year. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

If you ever used GarageBand and thought to yourself, "It just needs some more... and it will be the best digital audioworkstation ever!", Logic X Pro delivers with excellency. It is overwhelming loaded with unique and distinct features. I have been using for the past 5 years and I still have a lot to find out on its inner workings and powerful services... I find the community section not only slightly lacking in the forums... but on YouTube as well. I find a lot of people are drawn to the "popular" DAW and I'd highly advocate they give Logic X Pro a chance. Once you tried Logic, there is no going back. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

If you're coming from using the free GarageBand app on Mac then Logic Pro X will already feel familiar, and offers a seamless transition. There is a huge sound library covering many different musical genres from electronic to rock to orchestral. The instruments and loops are also pro quality. While the UI may not be the best, many of the effects such as the EQ, compression and reverb are just as good as third-party plugins. Logic Pro now also has a long overdue iPad app, allowing you to create music anywhere on the go. The best thing of all is that you only have to pay for Logic one, and then receive lifetime updates from Apple. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't like the UI in general. It makes me feel like I am coding an application, rather than being creating and producing music. There is a steep learning curve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Logic Pro X has an easy to learn interface. The tools needed are either close by or just a shortcut away which makes for a faster workflow. The learning curve is both a great and not so great. As soon as you've learnt to master the program, you'll find out that there are features you've not yet encountered that would help you even further. When doing a complicated setup, the save file can be used as a template for future projects of the same kind. Really well crafted. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It really takes intense learning to understand how to use some of the features. The software requires you to watch external tutorials and video lessons to do some functions. Some simple tasks are tedious and require repitition to get the hang of. Not ideal for a very casual user. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Logic Por X is a very vast platform for any music production you might need (or imagine. I know award winning singer/songwriters, composers, and producers who use this software and achieve great success. I use for a variety of audio (recording/producing) needs from composing to songwriting to creating specialized audio tracks for video production. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This is a backwards DISLIKE... but what I DO dislike is how one might NEVER master all the features available. It's so deep that you often feel like you never get past scratching the surface of it's incredible features for music production, recording, and more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's been more than 3 years I'm using it. And trust me ,I have been using other DAW too but logic is love. I love the interface, i love the toolbaar , I love everything there. The logic is best DAW in the world. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Only dislike would be that it get closed suddenly sometime and reopen with the last saved project. Else everything is good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Logic Pro is one of the most intuitive DAWs out there. Over time due to it's ease of use as well as low entry price point, use of Logic Pro has grown substantially. And it's always been full featured with a whole host of excellent sounding plug-ins, as well as easily usable with a plethora of third-party plug-ins. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The biggest downside is that it still has not caught up to Pro Tools as the "industry standard." And so when removing Pro Tools from the picture it still has to split its market share and potential user base with many of the other "not Pro Tools" DAWs out there. This means that you're not always sure to be able to share Logic Pro sessions with any other studio, as there is no guarantee that another studio is using Logic (whereas there is almost always a guarantee that a commercial studio would have Pro Tools available).
