The downtime of 6+ DAYS (!!!), the support doesn't respond and doesn't care to update the status/provide the ETA, NO backups are available. All the uptime commitments are a big lie. It's absolutely wasted money.
Rackspace has hosting down to a science and you will agree once you start to use them. Lack of downtime (and the one downtime I experienced was promptly resolved, and a root cause analysis was provided).
They were innovative for awhile, but now they aren't. Numerous times our site has gone down when we've had an influx of traffic. It was my understanding that they could instantly scale, but every time we've had to scale to handle traffic we've had to take...
