Recap of Dreamforce 2022: Innovation and Sustainability
Innovation and sustainability were two major themes at the annual Salesforce event, Dreamforce 2022. Industry conferences typically see the host company promoting its brand by handing out company swag to attendees. Dreamforce 2022 opted instead to focus on Salesforce's sustainability efforts by announcing plans to plant trees for each attendee as part of the company goal to plant one trillion trees by 2030 and provide donations to local public schools. In addition, the company that has helped fuel the CRM Software category announced updates and innovations to its product offerings, including Slack, Salesforce Sales Cloud Unlimited, and of course, Salesforce Genie.

Increased Adoption of Lead-to-Account Matching and Routing Leads to New G2 Category
It’s no secret that it can be quite difficult to manage all inbound leads into an organization. When a lead form from a survey or marketing event is completed, the lead often populates in the CRM software or other related sales account management software. While this lead populates in a CRM, sales and marketing departments spend lots of time to find the correct account that matches with the lead, as well as the salesperson who should be responsible for reaching out to that lead.

Why Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Is Still Relevant
Customer relationship management (CRM) software is not a new technology. It first made its debut in the mid-'80s before the term CRM was even coined. The combination of database marketing and contact management was handy in a world just realizing the utility of relatively small and inexpensive desktop computers; businesses haven’t looked back since.

Question on: Workbooks
Outlook Integration?Do you have integration with Outlook and what does it provide ?
Workbooks integrates with MS Outlook in 4 days: Email, Calendar, Contacts and tasks allowing a user with a simple click to synch information in of or out of Workbooks from Outlook. This is achieved using our Outlook connector on the PC which synchs records for the user that are relevant to them and allows the user to use Outlook offline and online with Workbooks. Even without Outlook Workbooks includes an email Dropbox functionality that allows any email client to copy emails into the Workbooks CRM system easily.

Question on: Pipedrive
What is the best way to use email marketing with Pipedrive? We are using a silver plan and cannot upgrade to Gold for now. We are getting difficulties in running email campaigns through Pipedrive and they are not allowing the integration in this plan as well.
We use the Pipedrive CAMPAIGNS feature inside of Pipedrive to send out mass / bulk emails that are personalized with 'merge' fields. The interface & builder is robust and similar to stand alone bulk email platforms. Nice feature is OPEN and CLICK tracking as a 'campaign' but also by individual PERSON so you can follow up with people who have and have not opened emails.
PD is not an ESP so it’s not good for email mkt. we use PD at OpenMoves and developed the tightest integration. Check out OpenMoves on the PD partner portal and it’s a one click integration.
Check out Salesflare!
It's like Pipedrive but it keeps itself up to date. AND it has this awesome email workflows/sequences functionality built in.

Question on: Workbooks
Is it easy to integrate web forms on our site to feed straight into Workbooks and to automatically allocate a lead to the right sales rep?We use WordPress on our website. Is it easy to map across the data capture fields?
Yes mapping data from a web form to feed directly into Workbooks is a common requirement and made easy as we provide the web form code for you to embed onto your web site.
Their is a Wordpress plugin for Workbooks that handles that part too, available from http://wpworkbooks.com/
Once a lead is in Workbooks from your web site you could have them put into a queue for users to pull leads from or use an auto allocation script to allocate the lead to the right person based on your own rules being post/zip code, industry, size etc
Also using the Web2Lead functionality in Workbooks enables the auto-creation of a Lead as the result of someone submitting a form on your website. In addition, you can integrate Google Analytics which enhances the functionality, allowing you to capture information about how visitors arrived on your website which you can then filter and report on inside Workbooks.
