The benefits are already visible as our data quality improves, and we get an extra source of valuable information for our trips.
Project 44 has helped our clients obtain complete visibility of their ocean containers. We love the GUI. It is super easy to use, customizable and intuitive. Onboarding new clients is a simple process, and the tech team has been super helpful with our integration. It will always be hard to reach 95%-100% when onboarding all your suppliers, mainly when you use over 5000 different ones per year.

Open to sharing data between other platforms so that we don't need to integrate everywhere. This is impossible for us as a Freight Forwarding business. They do not bill us for untracked shipments. The best thing about project44 is the customer service associated with the technological development.
They have technical skill and quick support are very helpful to tackle daily issues.

There is nothing to dislike, but there is one particular aspect that could be improved . My regular usage of project44 VOCs under different tennants obliges the registration of different emails. It would be welcome a simpler way to switch between diferent tennents using the same corporate email, and unfortunately it is not yet possible Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
P44's ability to integrate with SAP and being a preferred partner was a big "+" in our decision to use P44. We like the key data we are able to show our customers with respect to their shipments. One key element that we see as crucial for our customers is the ability to see live tracking, and we are thankful SAP followed through with adding this funtionality. I'll break my response into two parts. The implimentation portion, and the post go-live.
With respect to the implimentation it seemed challenging because we had to work through SAP who then communicated to P44. This linkage between two parties was clunky. When working through the implimentation much of the information we wanted to share with the carrier and brokers we were onboarding was withheld (and yes we requested the info) and was very frustrating. In addition many times the information our SAP contact was referencing didn't align with what our carriers and brokers were receiving.
Post implimentation analyzing the performance of our system (GTT) is not as customer friendly as expected. I would recommend SAP GTT and P44 should have a joint dashboard to analyze the symetry of the systems, and help address errors.
The mobile tracking application has been challenging to deploy consistently across our carriers.
P44's support staff not having any presence in North America presents certain challenges. The support staff has done a really good job supporting us. It is tough to overcome the time difference. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Tracking loads from inception to arrival at the receiver has become a standard service. Now that Amal Dey is Gerdau's Customer Service Rep, providing this service to customers has become a less daunting task. Having Amal as our Point of Contact has made carrier integrations and troubleshooting issues simpler to resolve. This allows us to focus on the value P44 offers versus outstanding help desk tickets.
