Well, maybe the main challenge is sending the MP to the drivers and then having to trust service providers to comply with the tracking requirements. If they don’t, you still end up relying on manual monitoring, which means you’re only partially meeting the goal. That’s what I dislike about this. It is very useful when sending tracking instructions to the drivers I work with, I can see them almost in real time, although sometimes I have some issues but nothing major, and being interconnected with the tool for tracking loads, it makes it much easier for me to mark all loads as picked up and delivered, it is very easy to use. I would like to be able to keep a record of the phone numbers I have already used when tracking, and not have to search for and enter them manually each time. There should be a section for driver records that is also 100% editable when saving them, like a phone contact that I can just select and it automatically gets placed in the load to be tracked. MacroPoint is very beneficial to our business and it is a great platform to use for digital tracking. They are very helpful when questions arise and get back to us in a timely manner. I really appreciate being able to track my truckload shipments in real time, both before and after pickup. This feature is particularly useful when trucks are running late for pickups and I have to coordinate with shipper personnel who may need to stay after hours to load. I find Descartes MacroPoint to be a powerful and amazing app for tracking drivers and loads. I am able to keep my drivers and loads always on top, knowing exactly where they are. It's incredibly easy to use, which is beneficial for both myself and my team, which includes people who might not be familiar with such applications. I appreciate that it works effectively on many phones, accommodating the variety of devices my drivers use. The ease of setup was also impressive, as we knew how to get started right from the first day. I use Descartes MacroPoint to track our trucks on loads all the time, and it's very easy to know where the truck is with the delivery. I appreciate that our customers can see where their load is at any time. It's really simple to upload our drivers by cell phone or ELD logging. The platform is easy for anyone to use, and setup is a breeze. I've tried other platforms with different brokers, and they're not as easy to use as MacroPoint. I give it 5 stars for its simplicity.
