We run a mix of fixed fees and pass-through usage charges from vendors like Plaid and Alloy, which made invoicing a recurring headache. Sequence consolidates everything into a single invoice per customer, fixed and usage-based billing in one place, which removed a whole category of manual reconciliation work. The API lets our engineers push usage data directly so nothing falls through the gaps, and billing schedules give us flexibility on how charges are structured without needing to touch anything month to month.

The product is genuinely easy to use, which matters when non-finance folks need to find an invoice or understand a customer's billing setup. But my favorite part is their incredible support. The response time is amazing and any time I have a question I'm immediately routed to the right person.
