After facing near-constant frustration from every other side in the industry, Patriot was a breath of fresh air. Instead of giving me the run-around, they have been clearly and simply helpful in every way they can. Their customer service really is top-notch, with their chat feature working quickly and always connecting you to a real person, not a bot! Everyone is very helpful and has navigated the confusing stuff with me to the best of their ability. They also have great resources that help you know if you’re missing anything legality-wise in your state. Their prices are also quite reasonable; I could clean a house for an hour and a half (I run a cleaning service) to cover this and get out with way less headache (and time, let’s be real; the government isn’t known for picking up the phone quickly). It’s totally worth it for me, and I would HIGHLY recommend them to any other small employer like me! (Though, if you’re able, it might be wise to do payroll with them from the start instead of trying it yourself for the first few months like I did; I made it work, but I had to deal with the headache of remitting all previous taxes from before I signed on, which was not the best experience of my life, to put it simply. You can actually pay for Patriot to remit your back taxes, however; I simply chose not to.) All in all, if you're on the fence about whether to sign on with them, just do yourself a favor and do it! Good customer service is a rare treasure these days, and Patriot's was stellar enough for me to truly want to leave them a good review!

Customer support. They will usually handle an issue in a reasonable amount of time. Not being an accountant, their services do assist small businesses with this mandatory task.
