Mender. Great Choice and Experience

- Mender is free and open source software. - Mender handles typical use cases - it's not just an SDK where you have to figure out how to solve the problem yourself. - Mender has an active community - You may simply extend Mender's functionality with state scripts, inventory scripts, and other methods while maintaining the original binary. - Mender has a stable cloud interface; we can still update devices that came with outdated software. - In recent months, Mender has added useful functions such as the remote terminal, device configuration, and monitoring. - So far, it's been the most stable and dependable OTA update method I've encountered. - Mender's organization pays attention to its consumers and works hard to understand their demands. - Mender's documentation is excellent. - There is a lot of Debian help available. - It completely solves the OTA update use case. - Mender may be integrated into the wider IoT device orchestration using the API.

A robust update for IoT devices is mandatory - Mender is a great choice for that use case

- Mender is open source - Mender solves common use cases - it is not just an SDK and you have to solve the use case on your own - Mender has an active community - You can easily extend the functionality of Mender through state scripts, inventory scripts, etc. while still keeping the upstream binary - Mender has a stable interface towards the cloud - we can still update devices that come with very old software - Mender has added valuable features like the remote terminal, device configuration, monitoring etc. over the past months - So far it has been the most robust and reliable OTA update system I have been working with - The company behind Mender is listening to its customers and is working hard to understand their needs - The Mender documentation is very good - There is great Debian support - It does solve the OTA update use case end-to-end - Through the API you can integrate Mender into the overall IoT device orchestration
