Often reportings are allocated to the wrong departments or people within a department and may take significant time to be rerouted through to the people who need to know; when this happens often it prevent immidiate investigation. For instance my department received a safety concern; however, it was sent to the wrong team leader by the reporting person. The Team leader did not understand the situation and sat on the incident for a couple of days until he spoke to myself; by which time all evidence was lost and the individual at fault didnt know immidiately that an investigation was required. Previously our accident system was made up of various paper and electronic Word based forms and spreadsheets for tracking the accident data. The switch to Vatix has enabled us to complie the data all in one place. It is simple and easy to add and manage accident reports as the system is very user friendly. Vatix provides an excellent system for us to ensure our team of lone workers are kept as safe as possible when working remotely across the UK. The staff themselves have really engaged with the system due to its ease of use and convenience. I am able to monitor their usage easily from our Head Office via the Admin access and have benefitted greatly from the technical support of the Vatix support staff and personal contact with our Vatix Account Manager.
