SignUp Genius is awesome for organizing a list of volunteers for an event. The invite goes out to everyone and those who are able to participate follow the link and sign up for a timeslot. I like that I can create many different options of offerings for people to sign up with, and that there are so many different themes to choose from that really diversify what the different sign ups can look like. I think not all features are possible, and I've emailed for support and hopefully customer service will get back to me soon. I am still in the process of playing around with it so I'm not positive how it'll go. I would like to be able to limit the number of times that someone can sign up.
